Looking for a place to drink and unwind after the game, and found this cigar bar. We normally don't smoke but like good cigar occasionally. It's very spacious inside. The cigars are behind the bar, so it's not like the other cigar I've been to where you can smell the selections of cigar. They had rocking chairs outside, which is great to enjoy your drink, smoke and people watch. Overall a great place.

Wonderful place with great cocktails and nice selection of cigars. Perfectly located next to so many restaurants in downtown. Bartenders were helpful and friendly. Hope to return!

By far this is my favorite place downtown. Don't get me wrong, I love Sidecar. I use to frequent Boca Fiesta but haven't been in years. The Top post COVID just hasn't done it for me anymore. Havana's is a cozy little bar in the old Half Corked/ next to Lillian's. Yes it is a cigar bar. They have several decent picks from Rocky Patel and standard Ashton etc. The drinks are usually very good including their Old Fashioned's. They do have a wine self serve station when working and that's a nice little option. I highly recommend this place if looking for a nice place to sit and enjoy a drink and people watch though.

Nice adult vibe in a college town! A pleasant surprise. Great cocktails and good selections of cigars. Affordable and very quaint spot! The ventilation system is superb. I will certainly be back!

Havana's Wine and Cigar Bar is a great hang in downtown Gainesville. My husband and I went with a friend for the first time this past Friday for a little "happy hour" after work. The Cigar Bar is a casual setting with a sophisticated feel. There were a few customers hanging at 5pm, but overall it wasn't crowded or noisy. It was the perfect place to relax and have great conversation. There's a large selection of cigars to choose from. I didn't smoke one, I just tried my husband's. The employees were very helpful in giving recommendations for what he should try. He was able to get a cigar he enjoyed for about $10. I had a glass of Cabernet (great pours from the bartender) for $5.25 each. It was a full bar, and for happy hour they had $1 off cocktails. My husband had some sort of whiskey drink that he enjoyed. We laughed, we relaxed, and it was a good time. We will definitely be back thanks to the quality of the place and great service that we experienced!

Very nice spot! Not a "massive" selection of cigars, but there's definitely something for everyone. Great selection of whiskey and bourbon (I tried the house bourbon with a splash of Coke and it went VERY well with my Arturo Fuente). Very comfortable atmosphere and good vibes. If I'm back in Gainesville, I will definitely return.

I absolutely love this place!!!! Julie was the bartender and she was so nice. She recommended some great cigars and even though they were busy she made me feel like I was the only customer. This is the place to come for cigars and meeting people. I've made several friends on my first night here. Great selection of cigars and alcohol. You must try this place.

The sweet potato soup had a puréed, baby‑food texture, but the flavor itself was surprisingly rich and comforting. The star for me was the Tunisian casse‑croûte. The flavors were incredible; the albacore was tender and seasoned just right, the salata mechouia added this smoky, roasted pepper depth, and the pickled egg brought the perfect tangy brightness. The arugula gave it a fresh, peppery lift, and the harissa aioli tied everything together with a warm, subtle heat. The fries on top added the best crunchy contrast. Every bite was layered, bold, and so satisfying.

My boyfriend got a cappuccino with strawberry syrup but we didn't really taste the strawberry in his. Regardless, it was delicious. We also got one of their biscotti which seemed like they made in house but I'm not sure. It was yummy, but definitely was not a very traditional recipe. It tasted more like a short bread than a biscotti but still very yummy. We walked out to the food truck to get some vegan bites and they definitely met expectations. The crabby patty was delicious with a great texture, and my boyfriends patty melt was also super good. We shared a mac and cheese and honestly I was full before we even got to that. The Mac and cheese was great but did taste a lot like coconut so if you're not into that then maybe veer away. The ambience was a mixed bag. The initial shop that you order the coffee in had a very cozy vibe with great decor. If you walk past the patio into the overflow seating the vibe changes a ton. The decor felt very uncanny valley, back rooms, like very odd. I think they need to work on that side of the property a little bit and make it more cozy. Maybe it's a work in progress or maybe they like it that way, I'm not sure, but it wasn't the sort of vibe that made me want to stick around. Overall great experience though! Will be coming back & hopefully I can get seating in the main shop ;)

We've been to alot of places…read moreback in tampa and orlando with same vibes so was so excited when something like it opened up here in ocala...but was left disappointed. First, the chef greeted almost everyone but us which was quite disappointing. Second, my order was messed up. I did told them i touched it since i thought it looked like my dish with the scallops yet the waiter still picked it up and serve to another table. Our food also took a long time to come out..water took a long time to get refilled along with the napkins and our wine did not come out until way later. Third, our bill was messed up as well. So definitely be cautious. Also, pro tip is it is cheaper if you pay in cash. We did try new stuff such as kangaroo tartare..definitely was a hit but crab fondue was ok as well as the pastas. You could definitely make them at home. The lobster pasta was too overpowering with garlic and there was barely any duck in the duck and pork pasta. For Ocala, i would say okay if you wanted to give fine dining a try. I just would not be back due to how we were treated, all the mess ups and underwhelming food for what we paid for. I do have to give props to the scallops. It was nicely cooked ( still soft, and could melt in your mouth).

The server gave great recommendations regarding the food, wine, and dessert. He was very upbeat and made sure he checked on us just enough. The chef also came out to greet us as we finished our meal. I could tell he talks to his regular customers because he spent a few minutes at another table having friendly conversation. My mom and I decided on the wine pictured below. It was very smooth. We both loved that it went well with our meals and dessert. The serve this truffle and Parmesan popcorn to start. Delicious! We also ordered the seafood empanadas. They are served with queso and pepper sauces. The empanadas are so rich and the flavor is amazing. I had the filet with asparagus and fondant potatoes. The filet was a bit overcooked but still amazing. It was perfectly seasoned and I could cut it with a butter knife. The fondant potatoes were perfectly cooked. It had this really good truffle sauce on top. The asparagus was more of a garnish but it was perfectly cooked. My mom had the bison filet with duchess potatoes. She loved it. She reported it was perfectly cooked. It was a pretty hefty portion. We shared the chocolate cake. It is not a very big dessert but we had eaten our meals and drank wine. It was served with blueberry compote and Tillamook ice cream. The cake was perfect. Rich but not too sweet or dense. I do not normally like cooked fruit. And I have never thought to pair chocolate cake with blueberry compote. But my goodness the two went together so well! The ice cream made it even better. Now I know Ocala doesn't have a ton of fine dining. And yes. The price point of this place is a bit high. But it's a great treat for people like my mom and I who enjoy great food, service, and ambiance. I also want to point out the menu has some more adventurous options like kangaroo, python, boar, and other options that rotate. I pray this town doesn't let this place get shut down. I think they could keep the crowds coming by doing a tapas night, happy hour, or food and wine pairing event.
