Stopped in on a Sunday . Chik fil a next door is closed Sundays and now Canes is taking their Sunday business and now better chicken offerings and the chicken quality is better than Chik fil a . I usually go to KFC a block away for a meal. I wanted the chicken fingers and I ordered the 4 piece combo to dine in. Service was quick and was packed to go? Receipt clearly says dine in? The counter guy , He unpacks and puts on a tray. Chicken tenders were moist, juicy, cooked perfect and breading perfect... issue was bland taste to chicken? Needs spices of offer a spiced version? Fries were ok, but many small dinky fries? The guy gave me ketchup packs which were Heinz . I also got ketchup at the self serve by the drinks self serve. The self serve ketchup tasted different and not Heinz ? The Canes sauce... they serve only one with the meal. They charge 49 cents it appears for additional sauce. The hey are stingy with the sauce vs. unlimited at Chik fil a ? One sauce not enough for 4 pieces for me.... The interior and vibe , music is attractive and appealing to the young crowd vs family or senior dining at Chik Fila . Very good chicken and 4 pieces meal priced reasonable . The Cole slaw was excellent and a high light. The bread toasted looked a 1/2 of a hot dog roll? It was only toasted on one side? No garlic toast flavors at all? It was a decent meal and welcome alternative to KFC or Chik Fil A who is closed Sundays and prices high? Canes I didn't see a shake drink Offering or a desert , or ice cream option unless I missed it ... I would like a great salad with one or two of these chicken tenders cut up on it. read more

The place is new and clean, but a little chilly inside for dining in the day we were there. Staff is friendly and ordering was easy. The food was solid, as it tasted fresh. The only thing you can get here are chicken fingers/tenders, then likely a drink and fries and/or texas toast. The toast is more like a toasted hotdog bun but its so yummy when it comes out fresh at the restaurant. This place is very closely located to Dave's Hot chicken and also Chik Fil A, and is a worthy try if you haven't had them yet. The only thing to note is that their signature sauce is a little bit more tangy, and I personally prefer Dave's sauce over this one. It's all good though, as you can also just use plain ketchup. They also have teas that are popular, but we stay away from those due to the high sugar/calories haha. We've sometimes ordered the tenders platter as it is cost effective and you get a ton of tenders (like 25 or so) that comes in a foil tray. We're looking forward to returning here again. read more

The over all place looks nice. The chicken was moist but no flavor. The music was nice. It was nice to try a place everyone's been talking about. The bread that came with the meal was way too buttery for me. The bread looked like a hot dog roll. My husband can cook better fried chicken and fries. The fries were cold and not very good. I called Raising Canes and they are making it up to me. Thank you. That said, I returned and once again ordered 10 tenders to go, but this time I counted them before I drove off. There were only nine. I walked to the drive through window and they quickly did more than make up for the mistake. The tenders are good, my son loves them. I like their chicken tenders. Compared to other fast food places like McDonald's and KFC, Raising Cane's tenders are really meaty (VS half meat and half breading). They are well seasoned for my taste (other fast food places are way too salty for me). I also like the dipping sauce (also not too salty). The sweet ice tea is also good and my daughter liked the lemonade (real lemonade and not the artificial kind that tastes like toilet bowl cleaner). Shout out to the staff who were very nice. Wow can't believe the lack of quality. Let me start by saying I absolutely love canes and I understand the restaurant buisness and it's gonna take a few weeks to get everything right, but I just can't ignore this. Absolutely everything was undercooked, the fries were soggy and soft with no seasoning, the chicken had no color and the coating was wet and extremely thin to the point where it fell off to the touch no crunch or crispness at all, and the toast was over buttered and extremely soggy. We had two 3 piece meals that were both exactly like this . Once again I understand the fact that it is a new location, however after months of anticipation I was terribly disappointed, I mean come on guys not even the toast was right. For a chain restaurant you either need better management or better training as one or the other clearly isn't happening. Anyways defenitly won't be back to that one for a while, if you really want canes just go to Marlborough or just hit Dave's next door it's at least crispy.
