I ordered the sliders with fries, and everything came out fresh and hot. The spice levels are customizable, which is great whether you like mild flavors or extra heat. The fries were well-seasoned and paired perfectly with the signature Dave's sauce. The portions were generous, making it a good value for the price. The restaurant had a fun atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and efficient. Overall, Dave's Hot Chicken delivers delicious food, bold flavors, and satisfying portions. If you're a fan of spicy chicken sandwiches or tenders, it's definitely worth a visit. I would give it a 5 out of 5 stars.

Chili's is hard to find around me. This time I ordered from their new kiosks....and it didn't even print my receipt out, but whatever my order was in on the screen. None of hte workers knew what to do about the machine and lack of a receipt but it didn't bother my order. This location also has a new tv screen with order status based on the platform you ordered from. Helpful. We got the usual, a couple of #2 combos. One of them I got one sandiwch mild and the other spicy but both of them tasted mild or something...it had zero heat at all. Funny thing is, the color of the sandwiches looked normal from all of my many previous orders, but flavor wise, they tasted the same. Weird. Still enjoyed them. The mozzarella sticks - I ordered a 5 pack. I can tell you size wise, they are very similar to the Chili's sticks. The crunch on these from Dave's was crunchier IMHO. However, the cheese is packed less densely here vs Chilis. The cheese pull is just as good on this first try, despite less cheese inside. When I ordered the 5 pack, it allowed only ONE spice level option. I wish I could've gotten some medium and some spicy etc. Not very sharing friendly. The staff was super friendly as usual. No problem getting my order and extra sauce packets etc. The place continues to look clean and well maintained. This location and framingham are my 2 fave locations for Dave's.

I'm honestly glad that I waited to post my original review with a lower rating and thought through…read morethe experience a little bit more. As always, I find it a bit harder to review fusion spots. Not just any fusion either, but one that is all over the world map. It's easy to just nitpick one dish and use it to judge everything else; but what about that is remotely fair? For example, their Beef Rendang (a dish that I'm very familiar with - including the different regional renditions) is more like a hint towards what "real" Beef Rendang is. I don't even need to speak on behalf of the Filipinos regarding their adobo (which I also grew up on) who are infamous to show up on public forums to criticize and say "that's not how my grandmother makes it" (lol). What did come to mind is the old quote that many often find negative but actually was meant to be a positive phrase (if the last part isn't so often omitted). "Jack of all trades, master of none, though often times better than a master of one". That definitely applies here with their style of food. There's a lot going on and a good portal to the true potential of each dish. Definitely give them a try! Portions are good and the food is definitely tasty!

Flavor Boom is one of those places I appreciate having nearby when I didn't bring lunch and need…read moresomething fast, filling, and actually tasty. The people there have always been nice, and the food has a home-cooked quality to it. It's not fancy, not really a sit-down place, but comforting in a weekday lunch kind of way. There might be a tiny table for two, but I would think of this as a takeout spot. I've tried a handful of dishes here. The black pepper pork is probably my favorite and, in my opinion, the strongest thing on the menu. The chicken adobo is solid, the tangy tamarind chicken is good, and the chicken karahi was tasty, though the chicken itself was a little dry. I also tried the beef rendang, which was not really beef rendang to me. Maybe beef-rendang-inspired? It read more like a beef stew with potatoes. Still tasty, but I would not go in expecting traditional rendang. A couple caveats: friends have mentioned that the rice can be a little dry or uneven at dinner time, and I do think some dishes can get salty toward the end of the day. Maybe the sauce has been sitting and reducing? Unclear. I usually go for lunch, and that seems like the move. Price-wise, it does add up if you're getting lunch here every day. My recent order (large size) came out to about $17 after tax and tip. If I get the large, I can usually stretch it into two meals, so that feels more reasonable, but these are "pleasantly full" meals, not "I have defeated myself" meals. My practical advice: if you're nearby, rushing for lunch, and forgot to bring your own food, this is a very useful spot. If you're not ravenously hungry, get the large and split it into two meals. Also, I wouldn't necessarily add string beans because it seems like they already include a small amount. I probably wouldn't eat here every day because I think I'd get bored, but I'm glad it exists. While Flavor Boom is not my every-day lunch, it is indeed my "I forgot food and need something warm, filling, and tasty before my next meeting" lunch.

Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The restaurant itself looks clean, has plenty of space to dine in, and parking is easy, no complaints there. Now, the food... I should've known something was off when I had to drive with the windows down because of the smell. It was an overwhelming mix of vinegar and hot sauce. My boyfriend ordered sliders with cheese fries. The tenders were completely overloaded with seasoning -- to the point where it was excessive and unpleasant. He chose the "mild" spice level, and there was no heat at all. I ordered the chicken sandwich (medium) with cheese fries. The sandwich itself had potential, but the single tender packed with heavy, overpowering seasoning ruined it. It honestly ended up being some of the worst chicken I've ever had. I also ordered a reaper tender (which requires signing a waiver), and I regret it. Yes, it's hot, but beyond that, it's just not good. It tastes like the chicken was rolled in every spice possible without any balance. I love spicy food and was excited to try it, but this was just unpleasant. The portions, especially the cheese fries, were small for the price. I spent about $50 for two meals, two drinks, and one extra tender, which didn't feel worth it at all. The slush drinks (similar to Minute Maid) were also disappointing -- they tasted sour, almost like the machine hadn't been properly cleaned. Overall, I'd rate this a 3/10, and those points are entirely for the customer service from Kimani and Lisa. If I could get a refund, I would.

Tried Guy Fieri's flavortown restaurant. It must be an election year for the mayor of flavortown…read moresince he can only be out on the campaign trail, as he was not in the kitchen preparing my food, based on the quality. The fried pickles didn't fill up the container or come close. That picture I took was right after opening, without eating any. Maybe I ordered a small and didn't know it. At least the ranch dipping sauce was good. I won't even take off points for the soggy food, because delivering fried foods is hard. I understand that. I ate the pickles and they were the best part of the meal, wish I had more. Mac and cheese left alot to be desired. Overcooked noodles. A sprinkle of bread crumbs. There was no flare here. This dish was basic and I don't think I'd order again. Finally, the chicken sandwich. I expected a nice hearty chicken breast, the kind you get at Tender Greens. Crunchy and delicious. This was a sad, fast food type sandwich, with a slice of cheddar, I think, and no real flavor to it. It was decent for fast food, but not what I think of when I see Guy's name on the menu. If you buy this, get the ranch from the fried pickles to dip it in. I wanted to love this place and was so excited to try it. The food was just ok. I'm sorry Guy. I'm a big fan of the TV show. I was considering trying a burger, thinking maybe their chicken game isn't as strong, but now I'm not so sure.
