After hearing so much about this restaurant chain, I said to myself, "Let's Try it". So here is what I have to say about this restaurant.. First of all it gets extremely busy, I mean drive thru line to the street.. so for this reason I opted for indoor dining... Customer service was great! Yes it was busy, there were hardly seats available, but the staff was working.. they were polite and patient... The menu is pretty straightforward... chicken fingers! I tried the number 1... the chicken fingers are - good size. It comes with slaw, Texas toast and fries.... The slaw is good! Fries were fries but they were also good.. I did not try the Texas toast... but the chicken... Let's talk about this soft crispy chicken tender, that was fried to perfection.. one bite of this chicken and there is a burst of flavor... flavor that tells you this chicken was well seasoned.. these chicken fingers were huge so I could only have 1 1/2... But yes the flavor is there... We don't have this chain where I'm from, so I'm Glad I tried this while visiting Austin. Try it! read more

every time I go to Cane's on Riverside the line may be a little bit overwhelming at times, even late at night. even saying that the service is top notch! always speedy service with order accuracy for me. always being at 100%. The chicken is consistent with its breading and crunch so you know exactly what you're looking forward to getting every time! I don't eat inside too often. mostly go through the drive-thru but the inside is very nice with nice lighting and clean bathrooms. my go-to always is the box combo and then I do butter on bread (bob) to sweeten the meal read more

Even though we come to this Raising Cane's location all the time (and I love the fact that they stay open so late for those late night drunchies or cravings), it feels like they can never get our orders 100% correct lol. Just yesterday, I went through the drive-thru to order 2 Box Combos (I substituted extra fries instead of coleslaw for 1 of the Combos), and they somehow left out coleslaw in BOTH the Box Combos and instead of extra fries, they gave us extra toast. Due to previous errors with this location, I checked the bag before I drove off because you never know what you're going to get with this location sometimes and was able to flag the mistake to the drive-thru attendant. They followed up and said "Are you sure?" and I said "You can look at the bag if you want to double check but I'm pretty sure." They end up checking the bag, and after a minute or so, they bring the bag back to me and say, "Here you go." I expressed my gratitude and drove off assuming that they fixed the error because I was just missing a coleslaw essentially and didn't care about the missing extra fries at this point. I get home to find out that not only did they not put in the coleslaw that I explicitly requested, BUT both Box Combos were now missing an extra Cane's Sauce each...like make that make sense lol! How do you go from flagging a mistake with the attendant directly to then still not get the correct order, and instead, you get even LESS items than what you paid for...it just wasn't my day yesterday I guess haha. I won't give this place a 1-star because the food is consistently tasty so I'll give them that, but their parking spaces were terribly constructed (some literally are parallel to the drive thru-line) so please be extra cautious when you're navigating at this establishment. read more

Its a pretty busy location and the parking lot is a bit small but we found parking and were able to dine in. We all got the 3 finger meals with the lemonade and were not disappointed. Visited Raising Cane's after a concert because it was close to the venue. The fries were delicious, fresh and perfectly salted. The lemonade was also amazing. The canes sauce was ridiculously salty. So I've enjoyed Cane's for a long time now and can tell you it's a pretty good chicken place mainly for one reason - Cane's sauce. Think of it as a black pepper heavy mayo-ketchup, or as I simply call it "liquid black pepper." It's simple, it is delicious, and it is the only sauce on their simple menu. It works, and you don't wanna eat their chicken without it. It's also open really late so that's a plus. The rest of Cane's is where it falls apart - my last few orders have all had chicken that was significantly smaller than what used to be the usual. Cutting portion sizes like that is always upsetting but usually it's more gradual. Fries are never good by my standards, but I'll admit the sauce and toast are always on-point. The sauce and toast are always the highlights, but when you're getting far less chicken than you used to at the price point of $11 for a 4-piece meal. Their BOGO sales don't even make me happy with this portioning. I wish I had pictures to prove this, but alas it looks like I have not taken pics of Cane's. I still think everyone should try out Cane's once, but the value just isn't there. read more

This was the first stop we made after landing in texas. I ordered the 6 piece chicken tender meal with cole slaw, Texas toast, and sweet tea. Once I got back to the hotel I dug in and it didn't disappoint. The canes sauce was very good and had a little spice to it. The staff are always friendly with a smile, their tenders are so fresh & juicy, they make their own yummy sauce & lemonade. I always ask for an extra sauce to sub the coleslaw because I'm just not a coke slaw fan. I ordered the box combo which comes with four tenders, thick bread, fries, coleslaw & canes sauce plus a drink. Everything here is yummy so you can't go wrong.
