Good food French fries weren't very warm. Chicken was fresh cooked and juicy. Yeah I don't expect them to have amazing fries, but they just weren't very warm. CAne is always a good experience, even though if I have only been 2-3 times in my life. It's funny because I lived here for 12 years and just never tried it until I did and then I liked it but there's not a lot of them. This location and other ones I've seen have a really good story and a lot of good art on the walls. It's very clean, but the secret surprise is the cheese bread toast. It is such cheesy bite of comfort and goodness. I think it is sure make you smile. I like the story behind Cane's, The owner is awesome. They do a lot for the community. I recommend trying Cane's designed for dipping. read more

I ordered 2 box combos, and only got two strips in each. I called the very unhelpful manager and asked for help about this and apparently they can only help if I drive all the way back right before closing in the middle of the night. Let me start off by saying me and my husband have been coming to this location for a while, we love the employees, and it's close to home. We always specifically come in and sit down and eat IN the restaurant because as most know they tend to shorten the portions in a to-go box. After we ordered we received our order in a to go box, in fact every customer in there was getting their order in a to go box which normally isn't the case. I opened the box and I had maybe at maximum 6-7 fries in my box which I thought was unacceptable but I wasn't going to get upset about it so I just went back up to the register to order more fries. When I told the person ringing me up why I was ordering more they proceeded to ask the manager and I quote " she shouldn't have to pay for more fries right since we didn't put enough in there" and the manger TURNED AROUND and said "nah we can't do that" he couldn't even look at me nor explain why. I didn't mind paying for them but it was the way the manager handled the situation that pissed me off. I will not be coming back here. I'd rather drive over 30 minutes to go to another canes. Canes you need to do better at picking your managers. read more

Literally the worst canes I'ver ever been to. They never get the extra crispy right and have always had to go back multiple times. Like 3 times after asking for extra crispy. Spoke to someone and they said "you have to let us know like 2 or 3 minutes." Offered to remake it after already being back there twice. I've worked for cane's before and have literally never heard a customer tell me that... Extra crispy means extra crispy... Not soggy dingy half cooked chicken and fries. The first time the chicken was half raw. The second time the chicken was crispy but my fries were raw... Make it make sense. read more

This is about the third time food from this Raising Canes has made me sick. I don't know what they're doing, but they mustn't be too sanitary because something is wrong. The food made me sick and I threw up twice already from it previous times. Right now, after eating it, I'm having a stomach ache/sour stomach. I wouldn't recommend eating this, especially not late. Also, almost every time I get it to go, the fries are soggy and hard; not fully cooked which is really really gross. UPDATE: now it's 4am and I wake up with my stomach. I've been eating here since they opened in the Parish. Service is excellent. Restaurant is always clean. The last 3 times ... the portion sizes have dropped tremendously. We already pay too much for a combo so please stop jilting us on the fries. read more

Before I tried this place, I looked at Yelp reviews for it. I see people were complaining about price and the portion sizes. I ordered the regular sandwich combo. I was expecting to be disappointed and now to shun Raising Cane's forever, but the same sandwich combo I always get came out. The service was really nice as with all Raising Cane's as well. Same amount of sauce. Same everything. I get done eatting and the shift manager comes over and asks me if everything was good, and I tell her yes. I think that is great about this fast food place compared to others. They don't even respond when I thank them for my food at Burger King or McDonald's anymore and Cane's actually goes and asks how it was. My only thing about this location was that it was really small. It felt like people were right on top of me. If it weren't for that, it would be 5 stars. read more

I arrived home from work and found a power outage occurring. I didn't feel very adventurous such that I wanted to try to prepare my evening meal by candlelight, so we ventured over to Raising Canes for a quick, fast solution. The menu is arranged so that you either order a sandwich, or various sized orders of chicken strips with a special sauce, fries and a drink. I didn't see an option for a la carte selections. I ordered the menu item called the 4 Piece Box meal and it came with a little of the special sauce, a lot of fries, and a medium drink. I had the cashier fix me an Arnold Palmer, or Sweet Tea & Lemonade. Ann ordered a menu item called the Caniac, which had 6 strips, because she intended to save some for Bear, our Rottweiler. She also had a large Arnold Palmer. Well, Bear didn't make out so well because Ann ate all of the chicken strips she received and all she had left for Bear were some greasy french fries. I ate every crumb of my order and there were quite a few crumbs, because the batter for the chicken strips is really flaky. This is a place I will only visit in a crunch because I dislike the heavy amount of batter used for the chicken strips. Most of the Cane's restaurants I've been to are pretty much consistent in good customer service, clean environment, and satisfactory food. The location in Chalmette is very clean and always accurate with the order. The drinks are always fresh. I wish all fast food joints were this consistent and clean. read more

Even if there is gonna be a wait, they always say "it'll be 2 minutes to fresh food" (or something like that). I like that they don't just give you food that's been sitting for hours. The food was delicious! The service wasn't ideal. I paid for my food and the worker at the second window was already holding my drink out the window when I was still at the first window getting my receipt. I pulled up and got my drink and they roughly handed me my food. As i was saying thank you the guy slammed the window in my face and then started fooling with his nails. Shrink ray has struck, there portion size has gone way down. Its been months since i last had Raising Cane's and when i heard they were building one in St Bernard i thought it was great. So i ordered 2 box combo's with extra sauce. Normally i can't finish in one sitting, makes a good late night snack. This time i finished the whole box, the strips were small, the sauce now comes in mini containers, fries had mostly little shards. The Tea was still very good, I try not to eat fast fried foods that often, so it will be another couple months before i go back. read more
