Food Consistency is key at Canes my food always tastes hot and made to order and is extra hot as in temperature right out the fryer. South Jersey is truly an enigma to me. What goes on down there? Who lives there? What do they do? Lmao Found myself in Cherry Hill for body work on my car (review on that coming in 4-6 weeks smh) and spotted a Cane's. If this is the type of time South Jersey is on count me in. I like to really study food menus (as if they don't basically only have chicken fingers) so we pulled into a spot and I downloaded the app. I was also hoping for a coupon code for my trouble but no luck. After me and my mom decided what we wanted and tried to order through the app we learned that curbside and the app itself weren't taking orders. Smh.So we drove thru. Tried a few times at different locations. This location is always busy due to being located at huge shopping center. I'm starting to think it might be losing some sparkle. This last time I went for the $11 combo with 3 chicken fingers, Texas toast, fries and drink. Very small serving of fries, pretty salty. Chicken Fingers still hot, fresh and tasty but smaller? Just the chicken & Texas toast is a solid 4 stars. This is with a light amount of their raising cane sauce...too much sauce makes it not so great, in my opinion. The fries are just a 3....it wasn't crispy but wasn't soggy...it was a weird place in between and just okay if you ask me, and I'm a fry lover. I got their lemonade and sweet tea...just sugar water no tea flavor at all...the lemonade was watered down and well unsatisfactory. Tea and lemonade are a 2 stars. Service was pretty fast, and I just wanted a kid's meal to test out this newly opened franchise that is too close to my home that I'm really too comfortable knowing (ya know, in case of a "I can't be bothered to cook" emergency). I ordered the fries with NO SALT, and that meant hot and fresh. Well worth waiting for as they were tasty and just the way I like them. The tenders were delicious, though a little smaller than I remembered. Maybe because they were kid's size? Hmmm, perhaps. The downside is how LOUD it is inside. And by loud, I mean by the kitchen staff all screaming at each other like I was watching The Bear on TV, but instead of yelling YES CHEF! they were screaming at each other to move faster, to get out of the way, etc. A little unsettling and not very pleasant to listen to while you're eating. read more

We waited in drive thru line two lines went rather quickly. The restaurant was anticipating crowds and had staff in driveway with tablets taking orders and electronic payments. The menu is small and doesn't have a lot of variety that you expect from competitors. Guessing this is their goal. They offer chicken fingers Al a carte or in a combo deal. 3,4 or 6 piece combos of chicken fingers with crinkle cut fries , Cole slaw for the 4 and 6 combos and a piece of buttered Texas toast. They also come with a signature chicken finger dipping sauce. The drink selection is sweet tea , lemonade and coke product soft drinks. All in all good addition to the fast food options. Fingers were generous sized and Moist and fresh considering its business they appeared to have it all together. All in for 2 combos was 31.00 no add ons so fairly higher priced than other fast food chains but the product does appear to be of a fresher higher quality. Try it ! read more

I had decided to take the Mrs over her for our first visit. Likely just a temporary snag, but was stuck in line behind two others for over 15 minutes, really, waiting for our order. We pulled up paid to a rather unfriendly attendant who mumbled our charge for our order and just closed window and walked away. Okay. Sat for a good 5+ minutes with the Mrs and talked about all the stores across 70 and maybe going to them sometime, tried to make use of our wait. Then one of their employees notices someone outside in a hoodie walking nearby infront of our car, leaned out and yelled real loud to someone he thought he knew, but when the person turned around it wasn't them, he turns around and just slams the window closed. OKAY. Then the Manager I think came over, very nice said our food was a couple minutes away, he said he wanted to make sure our food was hot, he closed the window, Food up and we are off. Pulled over right away, sandwich was delicious, fries were luke warm, soda tasted okay, cole slaw is inedible IMO, texas toast was toasted enough, and my Mrs chicken fingers were big and pretty good, her words. Busy fast food with two operating lanes for drive through. We went in and preferred the busy family atmosphere. They serve great tasting chicken tenders in many different rolls, breads, baskets, etc. the standard special dipping sauce was also delicious. It was a nicely different fast food choice for this Cherry Hill, NJ area. However, not an excuse for the young man taking our order to respond rudely that "the music is too loud" for him to hear my order correctly. I agree the music was too loud. If this a problem for taking orders at the counter then management should remedy that problem. Later our table number was called to pick up our food, due to the music being too loud, I too did not hear them announcing our table number; I'm a bit hard of hearing. When I picked up my food I gave the perfect response, "sorry, the music was too loud for me to hear you." The young man, I surmise, realized his customer service error.
