    Cheesesteak
    Brad M.

We DoorDashed from SmashBros and everything hit the mark. The food came fast, hot, and wrapped up nicely. The fries were golden, crispy, and generously portioned. The cheesesteaks were packed, mine had fried onions and Cooper sharp, no extras needed. The chicken cheesesteak had both big and shredded chunks, also on a seeded roll that wasn't overdone. Great quality, great flavor. Definitely ordering again.

Double Bro with fried onions, pickles, and burger sauce

Phenomenal burger. Just like the name, you'd expect a smash burger. I've recently joined the Church of Smash and am now a loyal disciple and fervent believer that these are the best way to cook a burger. I got the Double Bro and got exactly how it's described: cheese, fried onions, pickles, and burger sauce. It does look like you can customize it with a bunch of different options but it's not like other places where you can get any or all toppings for free (although you are paying for them in some way as that one place everyone loves to trash because it's too expensive). Certain toppings will cost anywhere from a quarter to $3 for bacon. While it does seem like they're nickel-and-diming you on the toppings, I do get it! The price without anything extra is $8 which is a pretty good value and when you think about it, adding a couple toppings will still keep it at a reasonable price. The burger had plenty of cheese that complimented it so well and the onions on it didn't overpower it at all but was enough to give it some flavor. If I had one complaint, it would be there could be more of the burger sauce. I wasn't getting it with every bite, but when I did I wish there was more because it took the burger to another level. As for the fries, I wish they were better. The only thing keeping my rating from being a 5 is because of the fries. The burger was such high quality. I enjoyed it but when I got to the fries, they just didn't meet the same standard. It's a shame this place isn't the closest for me since it's a bit out of the way. The only reason I did come here was to spite my wife who sent me a video of someone reviewing the place and I thought it'd be a good place for lunch. She was not happy... It's also a shame this place is very small and takeout only. It'd do very well expanding to a spot that could accommodate people who wanted to eat there.

Burgers are always a hit! Wings are nice and juicy with a wide variety of flavors. Always friendly and welcoming when showing up. Taken orders to go and also eaten at the tables outside. I love me a good smash burger and this place does it right!

It was lunchtime and I was hungry so SmashBros caught my eye on Yelp. It's a tiny hole in the wall with no inside seating and very limited parking. It's more of a to go place. I got the Bro Burger and it was only $6 so I added fries for $5. The burger was fresh and delicious - served with burger sauce, pickles and fried onions on a brioche bun. The fries were tasty and portioned well for the price. My only complaint is that they were cold. That kind of ruins the taste. Cold fries are a no! Service was quick and friendly. The young lady explained the menu to me which helped me to decide. I did feel bad for her because it was pretty cold inside! Might explain the cold fries. I will definitely try SmashBros again but when it's a little warmer outside. We DoorDashed from SmashBros and everything hit the mark. The food came fast, hot, and wrapped up nicely. I went to one and the chicken cheesesteak tasted like wet dog food. The cheese was so runny it was practically sauce. & it was $16.50. I got violently ill after eating a burger from here. Apparently I am not the only one who has become sick either. they are not storing the meat at proper temps or cleaning their hands properly. I'm surprised they are still operating under these condition, unless you want to be throwing your guts up I do not recommend! Great food! The loaded fries were along with the burgers. Need to come back and try the wings!

I had the pleasure of indulging in two exceptional dishes that truly set the bar for flavor and quality. The smash burger was an absolute masterpiece--perfectly cooked with a crisp, caramelized crust and seasoned to perfection. Every bite was packed with juicy, savory goodness that left me craving more. The cheesesteak was equally impressive. The combination of tender, flavorful beef and the rich, creamy copper cheese created a perfect harmony of textures and tastes. Each bite was pure satisfaction, with the cheese melting beautifully into the meat. It's clear that great care went into preparing both dishes, and the attention to detail made for an unforgettable meal. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for top-tier comfort food done right! Service - 5 stars they made sure you were recognized and updated with food status Ambiance - 5 stars it's your walk in kinda of establishment. Order and enjoy!

    Chicken Tenders

Smashbros recently opened a few months ago, and was pretty busy when we went on a weekday. We got a Double Bro Burger, French Fries, and Chicken Tenders (Garlic Parm). The burger severely reminded me of a McDonald's Big Mac; not so much the look as the burger meat is thin, but of the overall taste/sauce. The french fries were okay, and the Chicken Tenders were bad. The breading basically was coming off the tenders, and not crispy at all. Also, when we took the chicken tenders container out of the brown paper bag, we noticed the oil seeping through the bottom of the bag. The 'parking lot' is really, really small/tight, and not really a lot. Since Smashbros is on the corner of a street, a lot of people parked on the street. 1/5.

I do want to start with saying this place is fairly new, opened couple months ago. Ive been twice since they opened. The service is great, very friendly staff. The first time I went it was a Friday night and they were pretty slammed. They said food would take 20min and it did take exactly 20min. We happen to check the food before we left and we were missing a burger, the staff apologized and we were able to get our 2nd burger. I thought the burger was good, I really wanted to try the chicken cheesesteak but they happen to be out of that when we went. I got the chicken fries and they were INSANE. I definitely recommend trying them! The place is small, theres enough room for maybe 4 or 5 people to wait inside, we waited outside. They have limited parking spots but you can always grab street parking. I'll be back to try the chicken cheesesteak!

On top of the Guinness, they have an excellent liquor and beer selection. One thing to note is they have a special seasoning, the KTFO. It is a spicy, salty sweet seasoning that is the default on the fries and chips. Many people love it, but I personally can't stand sweet flavors, so if you are like me, order them "naked" and they will be regular.

Parking was a challenge on a Friday night as every space was full and turning around in the back lot involves making a k turn around the other vehicles who are also looking for a spot. We ended up parking down the street and walking over. We were seated immediately, as the bar has ample seating, both high tops and regular tables. My bff wasn't in the mood for a cocktail so we opted for Arnold palmers. Now, I am a HUGE avocado fan and I had heard about their infamous avocado fries so I was super excited about trying them. That may or may not have been the main reason for my visit. The avocado fries are fresh large slices of avocado breaded in panko and fried with a sweet and tangy spicy mayo sauce. I loved them but my bff wasn't as excited. He informed me he isn't a huge fresh avocado fan, so this one is for the avocado lovers. We also opted for the chicken parm rollers which is described as "Chicken mixed with ricotta cheese, herbs and spices rolled in panko breadcrumbs served with house made marinara and shaved parmesan" - they are chicken meatballs. We expected something else and now that we've had them and I re-read the description I'm not sure what we had in mind but it wasn't this. They were just okay. I think if they were placed on a plate with seasoned whipped ricotta and drizzled with pesto it could boost the flavor experience. For our entrees my bff got the chicken strips with the sweet and sassy sauce and I opted for the KO burger. My KO burger was delicious. The seeded brioche bun was buttery and fresh and the burger itself was flavorful. The fries were also fantastic. Fresh cut and sprinkled with a sweet seasoning, I didn't even feel the need to add ketchup or a side of aioli or anything. They were perfect. I didn't try my bffs chicken tenders but the sweet and sassy sauce tasted just like buffalo sauce. Pretty sure it was the wrong sauce but he didn't say anything to our server so that's on us. If you are looking for a bar to hang out and watch sports, get a drink, and have a great burger, I'd recommend this place - but maybe uber there.

I have been a fan of Five Guys since their humble DC Metro days. I remember when it was like TWO locations in Virginia, and we would take the drive to get the best fast food burger there was. When they shouted "2 in the door!," when you walked in, and you snacked on peanuts while reading where todays potatoes were from. Even though most of that still happens, it no longer feels like part of the charm, it feels like a CHORE. Back then, they CRAFTED your burger, because they wanted you to have the best burger of your life. They told you about where the fries came from, because they took pride in knowing that YOU know they care enough to know their damn potatoes lineage. Now, it's just page 3 of the employee handbook: "Write a city name on the board...who cares." It's not just this location either. All of Five Guys have gone down. The time before this time, at the Moorestown location, I remember having to go back in and ask for more fries, because I just couldn't believe the paltry amount of fries I received for, again, EIGHT FUCKING DOLLARS! A PAPER CUP SIZE OF FRIES! FOR $8!!!! It was me and the Misses, and it was FORTY. DOLLARS. for what isn't even that good of a burger anymore. And the fries were pitiful. I like Five Guys, and when they get it right, they are ALMOST worth the exorbitant cost. But, they just rarely, if ever, get it right anymore, and they still cost an arm and a leg. I won't be back until the quality comes up, or the prices come way down.

Our experience completely changed because of how the coupons were handled, and it ended up ruining our meal. Our server and the manager told us we were not allowed to use two coupons on the same check for two appetizers. At other Applebee's locations we have been to, they were able to split the check so both coupons could be used without any issue. The coupon was for a free any appetizer when you spend $15, and we chose the mozzarella sticks. We had spent over $15, but when the coupon was attempted, we were told it was only taking off about $4.99. Because of that, the manager ended up removing the coupon entirely instead of honoring it as a free appetizer. In the end, neither coupon was actually used. We also had a second appetizer, the loaded potato waves, but we were told we could not apply the second coupon to it either. Since we had two coupons and ordered two appetizers, we expected both to be honored, but were told that was not allowed. This left us with two unused coupons and we still had to pay a high bill. On top of that, we ordered a Strawberry Coolada Swirl from the bar, and it was left sitting for several minutes before being brought to us. The drink started to melt while it was just sitting there. Our server came to the table asking if we had decided what we wanted to eat, even though the drink was already sitting there. She had to have seen it while walking past and also knew I never received my drink when she brought everyone else's drinks out. Once it was finally addressed, there was no offer to remake it even though it had been sitting and melting due to the delay. To make things worse, I requested my receipt to be texted to my phone number, entered my number at checkout, and I never received it. Overall, my family and I were very dissatisfied with the restaurant and the way the situation was handled. It completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable meal. We expected better customer service and consistency, especially since other Applebee's locations have handled the same type of coupon without any problem. We will not be coming back to this location again.
