Burger runn Cheesesteak I've been told repeatedly to try the cheesesteaks here. On a previous visit I had the burgers and I thought they were very good. Though at my visit today I discovered they use Martin's potato rolls for the burgers. The place was a former deli and is tiny. I was greeted at the door and they took my order. Cheesesteak fried onions provolone. My go to order. The floor is tiled and slippery and I almost fell several times. It was around 4:15 so I thought I beat the dinner rush but apparently everyone orders from here on DoorDash or Uber Eats. At least a dz orders were picked up while I was waiting. I thought the wait was a little long.... But I stood there waiting for my sandwich. Finally a woman from the back come up front to address a problem with a chicken order and asked what I was waiting for.... A cheesesteak I replied and the counter woman that took my order grabbed a bag that was sitting in the pickup pile and handed it to me Alex? She asked yes I replied. I took my sandwich and got into my truck. At a red light I reached over to feel the bag... it was Luke warm. I expected my sandwich to be piping hot. Ggggggrrrrrrr. That is why I ordered at the place but the nearly 30 minute wait with the undetermined amount of time it was on the to go counter will you get the picture. On my arrival at home I opened the sandwich and snapped a photo. At this point it was barely warm. I prepared it with ketchup, hot pepper hoagie spread and my last slices sweet horseradish dill pickles. The first bite was underwhelming. Barely warm and the roll which was supposed to be sarcone's tasted more like amoroso. Onions were diced into fine cubes and I prefer more than the tiny amount provided. Overall taste was good but because it was nearly cold hard to actually evaluate. The overall sandwich had enough meat and a good meat to bread ratio. I found no trace of fat or grizzle. Maybe if circumstances were better I would have been happier but it did not reach the hype. read more

The cheesesteaks were packed, mine had fried onions and Cooper sharp, no extras needed. The chicken cheesesteak had both big and shredded chunks, also on a seeded roll that wasn't overdone. yeah never ordering here again. when it first opened, it was incredible. i had their mac and cheese burger with real mac and cheese; before they switched over to the gross fried bites. every time after that, it was either the best or worst burger to eat. i ordered a meal box deal through door dash but added bacon and extra sauce. paid extra for it, but was bot put on. burger was way overly salted too. its a shame, they had real potential. read more

Phenomenal burger. Just like the name, you'd expect a smash burger. I've recently joined the Church of Smash and am now a loyal disciple and fervent believer that these are the best way to cook a burger. I got the Double Bro and got exactly how it's described: cheese, fried onions, pickles, and burger sauce. It does look like you can customize it with a bunch of different options but it's not like other places where you can get any or all toppings for free (although you are paying for them in some way as that one place everyone loves to trash because it's too expensive). Certain toppings will cost anywhere from a quarter to $3 for bacon. While it does seem like they're nickel-and-diming you on the toppings, I do get it! The price without anything extra is $8 which is a pretty good value and when you think about it, adding a couple toppings will still keep it at a reasonable price. The burger had plenty of cheese that complimented it so well and the onions on it didn't overpower it at all but was enough to give it some flavor. If I had one complaint, it would be there could be more of the burger sauce. I wasn't getting it with every bite, but when I did I wish there was more because it took the burger to another level. As for the fries, I wish they were better. The only thing keeping my rating from being a 5 is because of the fries. The burger was such high quality. I enjoyed it but when I got to the fries, they just didn't meet the same standard. It's a shame this place isn't the closest for me since it's a bit out of the way. The only reason I did come here was to spite my wife who sent me a video of someone reviewing the place and I thought it'd be a good place for lunch. She was not happy... Smashbros recently opened a few months ago, and was pretty busy when we went on a weekday. We got a Double Bro Burger, French Fries, and Chicken Tenders (Garlic Parm). The burger severely reminded me of a McDonald's Big Mac; not so much the look as the burger meat is thin, but of the overall taste/sauce. The french fries were okay, and the Chicken Tenders were bad. The breading basically was coming off the tenders, and not crispy at all. Also, when we took the chicken tenders container out of the brown paper bag, we noticed the oil seeping through the bottom of the bag. The 'parking lot' is really, really small/tight, and not really a lot. Since Smashbros is on the corner of a street, a lot of people parked on the street. 1/5. read more

I do want to start with saying this place is fairly new, opened couple months ago. Ive been twice since they opened. The service is great, very friendly staff. The first time I went it was a Friday night and they were pretty slammed. They said food would take 20min and it did take exactly 20min. We happen to check the food before we left and we were missing a burger, the staff apologized and we were able to get our 2nd burger. I thought the burger was good, I really wanted to try the chicken cheesesteak but they happen to be out of that when we went. I got the chicken fries and they were INSANE. I definitely recommend trying them! The place is small, theres enough room for maybe 4 or 5 people to wait inside, we waited outside. They have limited parking spots but you can always grab street parking. I'll be back to try the chicken cheesesteak! read more

SmashBros in Runnemede is awesome! The double bro, French fries, fried pickles, chicken tenders, you name it! Never got anything i didn't like and im gonna try the wings & cheesesteak in the future! The chicken tenders are pure white meat and big!! Service is great and the people are very friendly! It's small place for takeout only and I recommend ordering online and they will notify you when your order is ready usually anywhere from 15 to 25 minutes unless they're extremely busy. The whole experience was bad, but let's start with the most important part: the burger. It was expensive, but awful, dry, flavorless, and had the texture of a rubber hockey puck. The place itself doesn't help either. Parking is practically nonexistent, there's only a tiny amount of space to stand while ordering and waiting, and nowhere to sit at all. I barely had time to look at the menu before I was rushed into ordering and then practically pushed out the door. I asked for a plain burger with cheese, but then was asked if I wanted a "special burger sauce." When I asked what was in it, the answer I got was just, "It's just burger sauce." That's not an answer. If you can't even tell me what's in your food, how can you expect me to eat it? Later, after having two bites of my hockey-puck and then tossing it out in disgust, a google search told me that "burger sauce" often has things like horseradish and relish, definitely not something I'd want thrown in my food without knowing. read more

Out with my daughter and she wanted something to eat. Considering the fast food prices vs what's actually served, I decided on Smash Bros... This wasn't my first time having burgers from there. But it was my first time not ordering online... This place is really small inside. No tables. Enough room for roughly 6 people to stand inside. Parking? Get in where you fit in on the street. There's enough room on the property for two cars... That's it!! While ordering, I was told that it would be a 45 minute wait on a Saturday evening. A woman chimed in "It's Worth It" before I could say ok . The amount of people pulling up in cars confirmed what the woman said. The burgers and fries are amazingly good and affordable, and worth every minute of the wait time. They're obviously a favorite in this town with plenty of restaurants. I've been here 3 times now, and I don't usually leave reviews, but I want this place to stick around! Everything I've had here has either been satisfactory or above average, and the prices are very reasonable. My only minor complaint was that the 2nd time I got a cheesesteak, the roll wasn't seeded like the first time, but I'm pretty sure I can live with that. The steak overall here is excellent, easily one of the best in South Jersey. I know for a fact they use fresh ribeye, because I saw it behind the counter. Sarcone's roll and Cooper Sharp are the golden standard in my opinion. I'd put this steak up against Chick's Deli, Donkey's, or Corson's in Haddonfield as some of my favorites in the SJ area. Otherwise, the burgers are very solid, and the Mac and Cheese bites are NUTS. I think they use a little liquid smoke in there or something, because they had a little smoky flavor to them. read more

It will blow any cheesesteak flavor Wise out of the water at any of these nearby sandwich shops. My only issue was when you get whiz it is a bit salty and they must have added salt as well so it made it too salty. If you order with cheese whiz tell them pls don't add salt. But definitely get the cheesesteak because it's well worth it. Now to The staff, very nice on phone and personable and so nice when we picked it up as well. Did that happen, No. 40 min later-which is crazy for a cheeseburger,. We go home to enjoy our meal. First off, the fries are terrible I do not recommend them. Congrats to @smashbrosnj on their grand opening today. I was excited to try them out as I think they have a great concept and menu. When I heard they were smoking and frying their wings, I knew I had to try them. Wings were everything I'd hope they'd be. No breading, cooked perfectly, flavorful spicy sauce, decent size. I got to meet up with my friend @justgrubbinaround and got to take a peek at the smash burger and the mac n cheese bites. Those mac n cheese bites are special. Get them and thank me later! Been wanting to try since I read & hear all good reviews. Walked in on a Saturday at 5:30 (bad move) & it was packed but placed an order & was told 30 minutes. Burger was best I've had along with hot crispy delicious fries! Usually I find fries get soggy by time I get home but these were outstanding. Will be going back although I will pick a better time. While standing outside waiting I talked to several people also waiting & seems like I was only "newbie" & everyone was telling me how good place was.
