They have an actual human standing in the drive-thru taking your order and helping you navigate the menu. I ordered a Caniac meal (6-fingers), two kids meals (2-fingers), and a three piece meal. The food was ready very quickly and piping hot. Everything came with fries, Texas Toast, coleslaw, and a drink. Beyond their delicious, juicy and lightly breaded chicken; a must eat is the Texas Toast! Soft and buttery this bread seems out of place at chicken spot, but it works! Shout out to the crinkle cut fries, they are seasoned nicely with a crispy bite. I love coleslaw, but the coleslaw here is way to watery and lacks salt and vinegar. Been to Canes a couple dozen times now, food is always really good when you get the food you ordered. Which somehow is almost never. It's either the wrong drink, missing sauces, or not having one of the sides entirely. Today was missing 4 of the sauces ordered so had to go back in along with not having one of the sides in a box combo. Updating my review from over 4years ago. I've been here several times over the years. There's definitely improvements since they opened and with each visits. The lines are long but they go a bit faster. Most times I see workers outside taking orders but my recent visit they weren't out there. I'm assuming it's either the heat or perhaps a staff shortage?? But thankfully there wasn't a long line and only one lane was in use. Anyways, I usually order a kids meal for my kids and I ordered the Caniac Meal which comes in a 6pc. The food is packed neatly and the food came out hot and freshly fried. I do crave their chicken fingers, crunchy outside and the breading has a delicious flavor and the chicken juicy on the inside. The toast is so addictive too. The fries were just ok, wish they were on the crunchier side verses the soft and some were soggy. The service was amazing, the staff were welcoming and enthusiastic. I'm usually in the area so when it's lunch time and we want something good to eat on the go this has been our go to. read more

I go to this location quite a bit. It's clean and they're quick with the order. Every time I have to wait a minute for the chicken to cool down. I usually go late at night and there have been only a few times I've gotten the scraps of fries but other than that it's a not too noisy depending on the capacity. read more

The chicken was crispy in a nice way, not hard crispy, more of a light soft crunch. Not the break your teeth kind of crispy, lol. The chicken itself was very tender. I think this is my second or third time there and it's very good quality. The French fries are the crinkle style which I prefer. Glad Fresno had one and this place was so clean inside and the ambiance along with the service was great. As for the food it was consistent with what I've had at other locations and always get my number 3 combo $10 plus change) with three chicken tenders, toasted bread, fries and soft a drink. I usually like to get an extra toast which is lightly buttered, airy and has the nice crunch but soft on the inside. The Cane sauce is a must to dip with everything. The food came out piping hot and there was a worker who constantly came around to clean tables and ask if all was alright. I had guests visiting from out of town raving about this place so we had to come and check it out. Oh my, the place was jam packed on a late afternoon and the drive-thru line was not getting any shorter. My party decided to just take it all to go back to my place after seeing how busy they were. Crowds and long wait times aren't my fave so I was surprised and glad when our order came out in 10 min as promised by the cashier. One of my guests placed a mobile order ahead of time for extra chickies to take back home. Their mobile order was ready upon arrival but their drinks were missing. Quick fix after showing the cashier their receipt. Everyone we encountered here were friendly and respectful (masked and unmasked). Not a huge fan of fried foods, but I can vouch that these strips were yummy! Not oily or soggy, just the right amount of crunchiness and tender chicken meat. The sauce and bread are a must try. Alright. I finally got this place off my list and I'm glad I did. For me, nothing was really remarkable and I can't see myself coming but once a year.... but a lot of places are like that for me. 1) I don't care about drinks and only have water. Combos are not attractive for that reason. I have had one soda in the last 20 years and couldn't even finish it. Big deal! A soda is one of the cheapest and least healthy things you can put in your body. It has the same appeal as a pack of smokes! 2) There's no novelty in chicken strips. And although I appreciated that they were NOT salty or brined with a ton of sodium, it's just a basic ck strip. 3) I loath loud music of any genre when eating or shopping and here it's TOO loud. Always an instant turn off. 4) The food was hot which is better than a lot of places do. Talking to you, Angry Chicken...another once a year place for me.. The fact the the place is new, one would expect it to be clean and look nice. And so it does. The service was great, alert, friendly younger folks, but again, isn't that a minimal expectation? I skipped the slaw. Wanted to taste the bread which was fine, but again, big deal. Sauce was yummy, but do I really need to be eating this often? NO! And just over $15.00 for 6 strips, some fries and a couple of throwaways? Seems a bit pricy for drive though service. As always, go at an off hour and you'll be driving off soon enough. I hit the drive through at 10:30 AM with 2 cars ahead of me. Great! The bottom line is that it's just another fast food place to add to the rotation. As someone thinking more and more about my daily eating habits, pulling back from fried stuff and simple carbs, it's just not a daily itch I'm going to scratch. Honestly, I'm jaded, been around...can cook like a top chef and I CRAVE more novelty that has more veggies and fiber along with that taste... Decided to wait a few months for the craziness to calm down before trying this local spot. Went there just before noon on a Sunday and got through the line in 20 minutes. Their chicken fingers are hands down the juiciest I have ever had. Don't know how they do it, since I got raw chicken last week in Dallas at TGI Fridays. Their fries and cold slaw are good, but not great, but the stars are the chicken and bread. My son substituted cold slaw for an extra piece of bread. Personally I do like their Canes sauce, but prefer dipping their chicken into Chick-Fil-A sauce. It's an anomaly like the perfect marriage. Definitely will go back. read more

The service through the drive through was pathetic. The female who took my card had a reckless disregard for the basic customer service role that she willfully chose to sign up for. When I pulled up to the window, she asked for the name on order and then demanded payment by only repeating the total amount due. When I clarified the order, I then put my hand out the window with the intent of touch less payment option. Instead she basically forced the card out of my hand without bothering to mention her intent to act on the use of force. If I had used my cell phone for the transaction then I'm sure she would have attempted to take it away from me to process the payment instead of simply picking up the device to extend within my reach. Any employee that willfully grabs cell phones away from customers without any consideration for mutual consent is guilty of robbery. The same thing is applicable when employees automatically take cards without any disclosures or other confirmation of the total amount before making the attempt to process transaction. When this employee handed the card back to me, I said thank you and she acted like she didn't hear me. Then she went to grab bag and handed it to me in a reckless manner. I still said thank you again. And she immediately turned her back to the window as if she was so preoccupied by the communication among the other coworkers. I then drove back to my hotel which is located within walking distance approximately 2-5 minutes drive depending on the wait time at the intersection. When I opened the box I was highly disappointed. (literal understatement) The food was obviously not fresh. For $13 + I thought what the ____ is this?! I honestly was just going to get chicken sandwich Al a carte... but opted for the combo. Usually don't get combo because I don't drink soda or sugar beverages.. today I felt like ordering 3 pc combo. The entire order was unreasonably cold and the fries were all over the place I basically had to organize the food just for the photo. I have a kitchen in my hotel suite and warming up the food is still not worth the price point. Came in tonight hoping the wait times had gone down some. Nope! The drive through line resembled another chicken place. I noped out of that, and opted to go inside. The shop is small and LOUD!! They have music blaring overhead that coupled with the multiple disco balls reminds me of an 80's middle school dance. Everyone was talking over the music meaning they were essentially yelling at each other to be heard. It was not a fun experience. There are seats along the wall and seats in the middle of the room. The line stretched around those seats. It took about 30 mins to get my order *after* I waited in line to get to the order counter. They put the ice in your cup at the register, so if you don't want any that's the time to speak up. There was a bank of ice under the soda dispensers. I settled in to wait and it sucked. I don't generally have anxiety issues in restaurants, but this place was trying that idea. The loud people, music, disco balls etc...just started to get to me. Finally a half hour later they called my name. I grabbed my bag and hauled butt outta there. I live a few miles away, by the time I got home I found that they messed up my order. I just asked for extra fries instead of coleslaw. Guess what? Yep... damn coleslaw. I was kind of excited over the crinkle fries, but they were stone cold and limp. The coleslaw? Was sweet. Ick. I tried the sauce that's hyped to all get out and just found it to be meh. The hubs was equally unimpressed as well. I have never been to a Raising Cane's as I am from the East Coast. I was told all about it as you can imagine. I think I was told more about their sauce than how delicious the food was. My friend and I ordered a three piece tender combo with an extra piece of texas toast and I opted for the Chicken Sandwich meal. I wasn't aware until I was leaving that ALL they sell is Chicken Fingers. I mean....hence the name right? So my sandwich was actually just three tenders laid across a bun. Nonetheless the whole interaction was quick, efficient and by the time I got back home the food was still hot and I devoured the meal within minutes. They even had sweet tea & lemonade as drink options. Reminded me of the "other" chicken place, haha! Sauce was good but wasn't super duper extra crazy amazing like everyone raved about. The coleslaw tasted like they just stole it from KFC, the fries were bland, chicken was bland, dipping sauce tastes like just ketchup and mayo. Maybe it's good if you're 3 years old and want "chickie nuggies", but if you're an adult, I'd skip it. Then 2 girls were waiting to hand out food. There were two lines going side by side when I went through. I picked the slow line and watched 4-5 cars beat us. We waited a total of 30 minutes for food. It was good but not worth a 30 minute wait. The fries were perfectly salted. The chicken seems under salted in my opinion. The pieces are smaller than I thought. The sauce is okay. The chicken shouldn't need sauce to be good. For fast food it's rather pricey. 10 fingers, one fry and one sauce came to roughly $19.
