I've been waiting since they opened to come try Cane's. There is always an insane line in the drive thru so we decided to go inside instead. Things to improve: The line to order was a mess! There's no end or start... it goes all over the restaurant; forcing people to wait by the door, stand close to people eating by their tables, no social distancing. This place needs to create a better wait/line system because it is confusing and unorganized. Many costumers avoided to eat inside because of how over crowded the place was. Calling out the orders. Although they had a microphone inside the restaurant, it would be helpful to hear it outside. Many people were forced to wait inside for their order. Therefore you didn't know who was waiting for their order or who was in line to order. Very chaotic. Waiting time for meals was very long. We waited about 30 minutes for an Oder to go. However, I understand his is due to the popularity of the place. Things I liked: The meals are really big and super affordable. My husband and I shared a meal together. Would definitely recomendable their chicken sandwich with their famous sauce! I would definitely want to order the house combo next time, which it comes with 4 chicken strips, fries, and bread. Cane's makes fresh lemonade and ice tea. It was very good and a great choice over soda. Overall: Good food but I would come back again until there is not so many people. The drive through here has been nuts since opening. My daughter walked in yesterday and got her food in a few minutes and said it was OK. Decided to try it out. Lots of people waiting inside for their food. The cashier tells me they have no coins to give change. What?!! Used a card to pay. They call your name when your order is ready. As fried chicken goes it wasn't overly greasy or over battered. Very similar to chicken shack chicken fingers but 10 times juicier. I can see why it is popular. The canes sauce is a show stopper. So many people line up for this place but honestly, after trying it for the first time I will never understand how people are willing to wait so long for standard food. The food was very underwhelming, the chicken and fries are very bland and the chicken wasn't crispy at all, the edges had more of a rubbery texture while the fries were soggy. The "sauce" helps finish the food but there really isn't anything special about it, I don't see myself craving it as it just tasted like ketchup and mayo mixed together. Fires are usually soggy by the time you get it. They're only good fresh. The chicken tenders don't really have a flavor to them but they are super high quality meat. While I was waiting for my order, they were getting theirs and taking it with them. Most of us who've worked fast food could not get out of the workplace fast enough. The chicken fingers weren't anything special. But, they were cooked perfectly. The coating is crunchy, the meat is juicy, and that seems to be part of the plan. They dropped in 4 cups of sauce into the bag. The secret sauce is the secret that makes it all work. It is the reason for. Oddly, it does not cling to the inside of the cup. But, it sticks to the fries and the chicken. It's a little sweet, sour, and creamy at the same time. It doesn't hurt that I prefer crinkle cut fries. The crinkles help to hold the sauce on. The Texas toast is a thick piece of bread, toasted and buttered on one side. It's a nice touch. Inside the restaurant does not have a lot of room. However, it is immaculate. Their front counter resembles high school. Not only do they not seem properly trained in customer service they are also understaffed making their staff situation worse. I've spoken to managers as well... they don't seem to care either. In addition the music is loud and the staff speaks softly, without enthusiasm and hardly ever smile. As a ten year veteran of the food industry I also think if you work in an establishment you should have common courtesy and manners while in the establishment. Pushing customers out of the way to make your shift on time wasnt the greatest impression. I think if you have mediocre food you should try to make up for it with your staff. But that's clearly not the case. I imagine they may be open awhile and good for them. But literally just about any chicken fast food place is better. read more

Chaotic but delicious. I grew up down south where Raising Cane's was more ubiquitous and therefore not as hyped up! Once I saw that there were some locations opening up in Fresno, my core memory of Raising Cane's Texas toast and the dipping sauce were triggered and I had to get my fix! I went over there around 9:30pm on a Sunday night and it was absolutely slammed. I placed my order online via the app, however, because I didn't keep the app open the whole time on my phone, it didn't register that I was getting close to the restaurant so I did have to wait a while for my food. No biggie, it was just really crowded and hot in there! I ordered the smallest combo possible of a few tenders, fries, and toast. Fortunately, my food was made super fresh. Chicken tenders were coated nicely and juicy, their fries are just soooo good with the dipping sauce, and we love the toast over here! In full piglet mode, I thought the combo I ordered came with cole slaw but it actually didn't and despite being full, I was craving it - try the cole slaw if you go too! Despite the chaos inside, everybody working the front line was super nice and friendly. I give them mad props for that! Overall, Raising Cane's makes a pretty delicious chicken finger combo. Finally! A visit to Raising Cane's without a 2-3 hour wait in the drive thru line. Weekday, about 1145AM...maybe that's the key. Anyway, I've been wanting to try their chicken to see if the hype was real. News flash...it is. I am by no means a connoisseur of chicken strips, nuggets or fingers. Not something that I ever crave. Until now. The chicken finger I had at Raising Cane's was really good. Nice breading over a tender and juicy piece of chicken breast. Perfectly cooked. And just cooked, like cooked to order just cooked. Being skeptical, I didn't want to fork out over $10 for a meal, so I ordered from the section of the menu labeled "Extras". One chicken finger was $1.59, a Cane's Sauce was .39 and an order of fries was $1.99. While the chicken finger was a bit bland on its own, the sauce really bumped the flavor up a few notches. It was very tasty..like ketchup and mayo with a bit of a peppery kick. (I later looked up the sauce ingredients online and perhaps it was the Worcestershire sauce that gave it it's unique flavor). I found it to be a good dipping sauce for my fries, as well. The fries were the crinkle cut variety, but skinnier than the usual ones you see. They have one size only, and it was a decent sized serving. I was given a ketchup packet that you tear off the lid and dip your fries. Nice touch. It's not so easy eating fries with ketchup when you're sitting in your car. Lol. My order totaled just over $4, so you can't beat that. The staff was very upbeat and friendly. Oh, when you go through the drive thru you'll notice there are two lines. Choose either one. After ordering, the staff will let you know when to pull forward and merge into one line to pay and pickup. read more

Talk about unprofessional. I walk in the girl who took my order was absolutely fabulous but what seemed to be the manager in charge talk about bullying in the workplace. I'm not racist but the African American woman who seemed to be in charge was literally talking crap and bullying a young girl who seemed like she was fairly new to the job or location. While I was waiting for my meal and during trying to eat a peaceful meal on my break I even heard her call the poor girl the b word. If you want to talk like that go work at a Popeyes. I hope somebody does something about this because this isn't the first time. That woman needs to be fired and or put in her place. Do not bother going through the drive through. It takes WAY TOO LONG. They split it between two lines, and one person stands outside the to-go window delivering each order to the cars. I just swung through to get a soda & ended up stuck for 20 minutes. Do NOT go inside to order if you're sensitive to sounds. The crew members were literally screaming out the orders incredibly aggressive like at the top of their lungs. It was right next to me when i was ordering and It hurt my eardrums. I've been in places that yelled out orders before-this was intense and unnecessary.
