Craving a burger so decided to try this place out. It was across the street from my hotel but on such a busy street, they said to drive over. Ordered a kids burger, fries and a rootbeer float. Waited about 15mins for my food. It came out super hot. My first rootbeer float was dropped by the young kid working and he felt so bad be made another super fast. Got back to my hotel room and dug right onto the burger. It was so good but still very large for a kids burger. I was only able to eat half. I did finish my fries (love me a good thick crinkle cut fry) and most of my rootbeer float. I would go back again if in the area. Love a little dive burger place. I visited on 4/15 around 9 PM and ordered food using the kiosk. When I went to pay, the machine was acting up and ended up adding a tip on its own. I didn't notice until after I had already paid and saw it on my receipt. I asked if it could be adjusted, but the employee at the register told me nothing could be done after payment, which I understood. While waiting for our food, we overheard a worker in the back say, "it gives you the option before you pay," and continue talking, which felt unprofessional and disrespectful. As a paying customer, I don't expect to hear employees talking negatively about situations involving customers instead of trying to help resolve them. The food itself was good, but the customer service definitely needs improvement. I wasn't able to get my money back, and based on the experience, the tip didn't feel deserved. read more

Tasty burger spot that looks like a blast from the past. There's a window at the front to order from outside, or you can go inside and order from a kiosk. Menu seems more extensive on the kiosk vs what was posted inside. Everything tasted really good. We ordered the Classic Burger (1/6 lb patty), the Good Burger (1/4 lb patty), onion rings, chili cheese fries, a soda and a vanilla milkshake. Hubby said the burger and fries were OK. I had the crispy chicken sandwich combo. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the fries were the crinkle cut style, my favorite. Service was fast and friendly. Indoor seating, fifties style, or you can eat in your car. Fun decor! read more

This place is a must try, if you like burgers! We ordered the chili cheese fry special (2 for 5.99) and two burgers. The buns were great and toasted perfectly and everything worked well together. It's a great place for a classic burger, ya know? They had so many different burgers on their menu, but we went with the classic. I highly recommend trying out their food! The prices are reasonable and their service is good. My only complaint would be how echoey it is when eating inside, but that's not going to affect my rating. read more

First time ever. I've got heard good things from people. I know who have experienced this place. Stopped in this afternoon cause I was in a mood for a burger. I walked inside, found the order window and finally decided on a regular one patty hamburger combo. The young lady behind the window, extremely polite and very knowledgeable. Asked me if I wanted a slice of cheese with my burger without feeling pressured into getting it I declined. I was in a mood for onion rings instead of fries, asked what the up charge would be, and was pleasantly surprised it was a dollar. By the way, the fries were excellent. Still hot when I got home. FYI, it's a basic combo with the burger, fries, and a very generous drink. I was offered the drink while waiting. After I went to wash my hands, I came back and upon seeing me, they poured the drink, and I sat for a moment while my Food was being done. As I reached for my bag of food, I was worn to be careful because the onion rings are fresh and hot. I was home within five minutes and after taking a moment to wash my hands, I sat down and enjoyed the first hot onion ring. It did come with a ranch type dip, which is a nice compliment with the ring. The burger took both hands to hold it while eating, real lettuce, onion and tomato slice. Just enough sauce to complement the rest of it surely enjoyed it all while switching from burger to onion ring back to burger back onion ring. The meat was good and tender. The fries are crunchy and tasted really really good. Being five minutes from my home, and being a decent price, and nice people working there, I will definitely be back soon and often. I like the nostalgic touch inside with lots of vintage posters of James Dean Marilyn Monroe Bogey and Elvis. It's a 50's theme You can pull your car up to the front and order the old fashion way at the window or go inside . On certain days they have cruis nights where classic cars are all parked out front . Tonight I drove my 73' VW beetle there before going to a movie night. We ordered the pastrami chili cheese fries which were really tasty . I'll give this place 3 stars only because I have t tried the rest of the menu yet. lol!! I was pleasantly surprised at just how good the food and service was during my experience at Bob's Good Burger. This place is a one of a kind throwback to a time when we would eat at our favorite diner: burgers, shakes, fries and such. The dinning room is like a museum of rock and roll culture. It's the late '50s and the food is a perfect match. We had the #19 country fried steak burger, fried zucchini (instead of the crinkle cut French fries which are amazing), and a pineapple shake. We also supplemented our order for two with the popcorn chicken. All the food wasn't really good. My hat's off to the staff of friendly (Manuel, Josiah, and Priscilla), Job well done! The outside area with a table reserved for eating was very sticky (made sure to use hand sanitizer) and there was obvious food trash strewn across the ground out the side door of the business. I don't know this has new owners but we went to this place years ago and I remember it being really good so we thought we will try it again. We both got just hamburger meal with french fries. There's something definitely wrong with the sauce. It's like water that just dripping out of your hamburger. The french french fries tasted old because it looks like that they have not changed your grease in a while so they weren't fresh. They put it in the sandwich in 2 pieces. The chicken was cooked thoroughly. The bun was fresh. No cheese. You have to pay extra if you want that. Wished they would have told me that. Nothing special. What can i say about Bobs good burger in Clovis CA I can vouch it's way better than Burger King. Tonight I had a hugh craving and I wanted to try a lot of things to see if I'm going to come back for a second visit. So it was around 9 pm and the friendly female cashier took my order and she was really good giving me attention to detail and repeated what I ordered. So I ordered the following for my ok dinner tonight at Bobs good burger located at Clovis CA; Pink lemonade 4/5 on point better than some fast food restaurants because it wasn't watered down. Chicken tornado 2/5 nothing special your gas station food at a burger joint. Onion rings 3/5 not too bad but I wish for $4.00 they can give a little bit more. Crinkle cut fries 4/5 good amount of good tasting fries better than some local competitons. Pastrami's sandwiches 3/5 the pictures on the menu board is misleading when you order one it actually looks a lot smaller than advertised. If you want decent pastrami sandwiches head towards Togo's that's the only place that I know and satisfied my appetite and wallet. Bacon cheese avocado burger 3/5 i wish it was more seasoned and better tasting bacon the only thing that stood out was they use large slices of avocados that stood out of the competitions and big BBQ local places ahem. (West Wood BBQ) I can say their beef patty it's a little better than other local competitions but it can be juicer next time. Service 4/5 fast and friendly and I got my food fairly quick. Tonight's dinner was just ok nothing really stood out and nothing mind blowing. So far the best burgers that I've had was at Ruth Chris and it use to be farmer boys but it's not the same anymore. Bobs Good Burger has taken over the old Fat Jacks location and looks very similar to its original menu. We ordered the Avacado Burger , Double Bacon Burger, Fried Mushroom and Fried Zucchini with Chili Cheese Fries. The service was quick and people were friendly. I would actually give this establishment a 3.5 Star Raiting . I would also go back and try a few more items on the menu to find what I prefer. This is a solid resturant to try in Clovis. read more
