The value is good but I think that they are too busy to get the food right. My fries were undercooked and coleslaw was warm. Luckily my chicken tenders were hot and delicious and I like the Cane sauce. The line was long so they are not hurting for business. I would probably skip unless it's not busy. After seeing videos of canes mukbangs, I've been craving a bite of canes. I've had canes before and in my opinion they're painfully mediocre. However, a craving is a craving. I ordered a kids canes meal along with something else in the food court. I chose the milk for my drink (protein LOL) and I tried asking to replace the kids toy with something else but they couldn't do that, so I gave it to a random child sitting near me and my partner. The majority of the fries were like room temp and soggy. The two chicken fingers were the same (room temp), especially the bottom one was no longer crunchy and was also improperly coated (the breading was falling off). We saw a raising cane's at the Ala Moana Mall. We had to try the chicken because it was so crowded the time we drove by a Raising Cane's. It was real chicken. Batter was not great. Today I got to try a 3 finger combo and it was okay. I had a cane on one hand and a stabilizer on the other so I asked for a bag and they told me it is $0.21, so I just declined. It wasn't the cost. Whenever a business tries to charge the extras like that it just gives me the negative impression of a business trying to nickel and dime their customers. As for the chicken it was very bland, no seasoning. Same for the french fries. Ala Moana Food Court Street level is very crowded tonight. I dared to venture here to redeem my free Cane's 4 piece box combo. I had signed up awhile back for the card and I received an email informing me that the combo meal is now loaded on my card gratis! There was a 30 day period given to redeem. I encountered a long line, and when I reached the cashier, he met me with a smile and I informed him of the free combo. He was extremely polite and needed assistance from the manager. Both were very nice, even with the long line of people behind me. Service was 5 out of 5 stars. Everything was executed perfectly and I received my 4 piece combo with two Cole slaw orders, crinkle fries and a drink. All gratis! The chicken tenders were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The fries were hot and fresh. The Cole slaw was on the sweeter side. Food rated a 4 out of 5 stars. Ambiance was 2 out of 5. The food is consistent, and it's always busy--which is great for their business. However, yesterday I went in and bought two kids' combos that come with drinks. The kids' cups aren't transparent, and the male cashier handed me both cups without saying which drink was which. As I was putting my wallet away in a very busy, crowded line, I asked him which drink was which. He told me, then followed up with, "You can always take the lid off and check yourself if you're not sure." I was honestly really irritated. Obviously, I could do that--but that's not the point. That's terrible customer service. Handing me two different drinks and expecting me to figure it out while standing in line with two kids and holding everyone up? Not helpful at all. Customer service is definitely lacking. 3 stars for consistency and decent food. Please train your cashiers to be more customer-oriented--even during busy times. We decided to come here today on a Sunday because chick fil a was close on sundays. We usually always go to the pearl city one. Parking: don't worry about parking because in the mall. We returned on Tuesday to order The Box Combo and let me say that along with the friendly and efficient service, I ordered this combo with "special requests". First off, I asked to have both the chicken tenders and crinkle-cut fries to be crisp-fried and secondly, I requested that my Texas toast be BOB or buttered on both sides. The line leading to this food stall was visibly socially distanced and the staff was accommodating and patient with the First Timers.
