I ordered the chicken wrap, and it was pretty bland and not very flavorful. Several members of my family ordered the original chicken tenders, and they felt the same way, they just was not very tasty. The only positive food feedback came from those who ordered the spicy tenders, which they said were much better and had good flavor. I always try to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt because everyone can have an off day, but based on this experience, I don't see myself returning. Prices were decent, less than $15 for my meal (there were upcharges for some items). I enjoyed my meal and found it pretty filling. The soup was nice and warm and had a pretty good seafood flavor. The salad was fresh and was nicely dressed. I was pleasantly surprised by Newk's and glad we stopped in. It's nothing mind blowing but definitely hit the spot on a long, rainy drive.
