The reasoning behind this when I called the store was "some of them are like that". This is a chicken nugget - I have 4 of them for $13...... people love canes. Picture says enough.

Honestly 2-3 years ago it was better but now the prices are up and the portions got smaller. $10 for the smallest chicken tenders and smallest amount of fries. Usual suspects is definitely the way to go.

As fast food goes, Raising Cane's is one of the best. This is the newest location in the area and has not been open very long. Even though it is new the staff is very friendly and professional. Raising Cane's main item is their chicken fingers. Apparently they only use fresh chicken tenders and cook the item to order. On this visit our tenders were cooked perfectly and tasted great. Our sides were fries, cole slaw and Texas toast. The fries are of the crinkle cut variety and are good. In my opinion all cole slaw is disgusting, but my dining companions enjoyed it. One minor issue is that everything they offer is fried. If your looking for something healthy, you may want to try somewhere else.

    One love!

So I have never eaten at a Raising cane's before today. This location just opened this past weekend. Close to my work, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the 3 Finger Combo. This combo. comes with three chicken fingers, crinkle cut French fries and a slice of buttered toast for $5.99 + tax. The chicken was hot and fresh, like they advertise. Both the chicken and the fries were crispy. The Cane's sauce that is hyped in every commercial was pretty good. For my beverage, I chose the sweet iced tea which was very delicious. Three cups later, I was heading to the restroom when I arrived back at work. The dining room has lots of tables and booths lining the outside walls. Should be able to seat 20-30 people easily. Lots of movie posters decorate the wall along with photos and narratives explaining some of the history of the restaurant and the dog seen on the commercials. I arrived a little after 11:30, just before the lunch rush. I was greeted promptly and only waited about 4-5 minutes for my food to be delivered. Not too bad considering it was cooked to order. The parking lot is off to the right if you plan to dine in. When you pull in, you are funneled into the drive thru lane if you miss the turn to the parking lot. My only complaint is that it seems a little pricey for the amount that you get. I suppose someone has to pay for all that advertising.

    Small chicken high price!!

You guys I love Raisin Canes; BUT someone need to tell them if the chicken tender is too small add a extra tender. Seasoning it's time to add Louisiana spicy too this chicken. Butter, goes with bread use it please. This is disappointing to see any customer money go too waste.

Ordered Naked Fingers from Mandeville RC. Hair cooked into food. Mgr refused to go vena full refund. GROSS!

Ordered Naked Fingers from Mandeville location today. On keto diet so, no breading. The fingers were about 1/3 the size of the regular fried counterparts. I mentioned this as I opened the box. The RC employee said "Yeah that's why we have you an extra one". When I got back to work and started to eat I found the naked fingers to be very chewy. And worse I noticed a curly hair wrapped around and cooked into one of the pieces of chicken! I called RC and told a woman who identified herself as the manager, my issue. I told her I would be coming by after work for a full refund, considering 1) the HAIR 2)the small size(yet same price) of the strips and 3) the chewiness. She said she would need all 4 strips back to give a full refund. Mind you, I'm at work. I need to eat. Bad business! I like Chicken Salad Chicks better anyway. They were closed today. Tried to include picture.

The chicken fingers are great and the dipping sauce is outstanding. I'm glad that your location is only two miles from mine.

Fried and Strips were both greasy. I have never had greasy food from canes before today. The container was saturated with grease.

The fried chicken was the star--served hot and fresh, perfectly crispy on the outside, and incredibly juicy on the inside. Just good, classic Southern fried chicken done right. The sides were great, but the fried green tomatoes are a MUST. They were fresh, crispy, flavorful, and had the perfect crunch without being greasy. This was also my first time ever trying chess pie, and WOW! It was absolutely to die for--rich, sweet, buttery, and the perfect ending to the meal. The service was friendly and welcoming, and everything came out fresh. Sometimes the best food spots are the ones you just happen to stumble upon. Great fried chicken, delicious sides, amazing chess pie, and friendly service. Definitely a 5-star New Orleans stop!

Well I visited and MAN did I enjoy the spicy fried chicken. The crunchy exterior, juicy meat and hearty sides following by a slice of perfect pie washed down by a beverage of your choose your choice-choo-choosing makes it evident why the chicken crossed the road- to get to Gus's You order at the counter and in my case, take a seat and enjoy one of the many tables in an open seating area it lens itself from one person table, top to multiple people in larger parties. You sit and chill and it's brought out to your table which I think is a nice touch of customer service. What happens next is nothing short of Magic. I would eat there more often, but the rest of my family doesn't want it as often as I do. I can't vouch for it's authenticity first-hand but it is very good. Be brave and order something that sounds weird. You will love it. (GOAT!! They have Curry Goat!!) Everything seems fresh and homemade. Fantastic. I can't stop raving about it. The vibe is a little weird at first. It is inside a Pilot gas station/truck stop with a couple of other food offerings ("food court style" there's a hamburger place and something else). It's a little overwhelming at first because there aren't descriptions of the dishes. If you go to their website you will find good descriptions and photos of everything and you can order online. If you order ahead, then your food will be waiting when you get there and you won't have to hang around the truck stop very long.

Crazy Pig has an excellent menu for breakfast with lots of different options We went on a Sunday morning I got one of the omelettes I think mine was the lean omelette Everything comes with bread and or biscuit I can't eat bread or biscuit so our waiter offered me avocado and tomatoes, which were a perfect choice to go with my omelette Most restaurant places that I've been to usually just remove the item without offering a substitution I was so happy with the alternate options I spoke with the owner to let her know that I appreciate having the tomato and the avocado instead of the bread and the biscuit. Then she told me that they just had a class on food allergies This is really exceptional that a restaurant is taking up their own initiative to learn about food allergies so that they can service their customers with better care While the food is definitely excellent with the capacity to offer different options for the different dietary needs that people have and the staff is educated, I just wish that they had better coffee at the Mandeville location like a cappuccino or a café latte Still an excellent choice
