With a conference taking place across the street, Tucker's gave me the perfect opportunity to finally check that box. I'll be honest--burgers usually aren't something I seek out unless there's something unique about them. This was different. The Oklahoma onion burger absolutely lived up to the hype. Simple, messy, flavorful, and a great example of a regional specialty done right. The staff was courteous, the service was quick, and my food was out before I knew it. In fact, it was so good I ended up tucking my tie into my shirt to keep it out of the way. If you look closely at my photo, you'll spot my tie bar sitting on the table after I surrendered to the inevitable. The napkin dispenser's warning--"You're going to need them"--turned out to be pretty accurate. No regrets at all. If I'm back in Norman, I'll happily stop in again.
