Parking lot is always a zoo and it is hard to get a spot during peak time. Also wish the location was bigger. Always seems super crowded and noisy. My first time at this location. I've been to Dave's Hot Chicken before when I lived in Las Vegas. There is another chain there called Houston TX Hot Chicken and I prefer their chicken and their sauce to Dave's. I recently early retired and moved to Mustang in November , so I thought I would give Dave's another try. The location is pretty easy to get to , clean parking lot with some other businesses and restaurants in the shopping plaza. The decor is bright and colorful inside and the dining area was clean and organized. The cashier was friendly and informative. I ordered the 10 Piece Dave's Bites - Hot , no Fries and she gave me an extra Dave's Sauce. I ordered it to go. They do have a Military / Veteran Discount. As someone else mentioned in their review , they have the ole Add A Tip to Your Order on the Pin Pad when you go to pay. I worked for tips for over 25 years in Las Vegas , but a Fast Food restaurant shouldn't have a Tip Prompt on the Pin Pad. Sit Down Restaurant yes , Fast Food no. You don't see that at McDonald's , Burger King , Wendy's , etc. As far as the Dave's Bites and Sauce go , it was the same as I had in Las Vegas except there I did the sandwich - medium , a tender - hot , fries , and a drink. The price is a little expensive for what you get. They do have some other options like Loaded Fries or Loaded Mac-n-Cheese. They also have some Red Bull drinks. I personally was a little disappointed in the taste and my daughter in law said she went about a week ago and she thought the same thing. Really impressed with the paintings on the walls. Younger crowds will love this. It's a fast food feel. You order at counter, fill your drink, take a seat. We ordered chicken sliders with medium heat that came with fries. The slider had slaw and pickles. Fries really good dipped in sauce. Chicken was ok, but way too thick for me. If you love Dave's Hot Chicken, this location is clean, friendly, efficient and I'm sure you aren't reading yelp reviews. First time experiencing this chain. I avoid fast food joints that after an employee types in your order they point at the card reader and ask you, "To just answer a quick question." Such an awkward surprise, I bought 2 single chicken strips and it was $10, whatever it's fine, but it cost me $11.50 after I don't want to look this kid in the eye and not feel bad if I don't chose to press %15. Stop it. Pay your employees enough to not make me feel pressured and awkward to tip them for showing up to work. You get your own drink, get your own food, clear your own table. What additional service besides typing in my order am I tipping for? Will I get a tip from you if I order online and type in the order myself? Just a bizarre customer experience that I will never understand. The chicken was fine, hot, fresh, and quick. This is a real popular chain so I know it's just my personal preferences but the sweet sugary aftertaste is not for me. I get hot chicken for the spice and was thrown off when the last note is this sweet after note. Dave's sauce is gross but again they are popular for a reason so just personal preference. Glad to see another hot chicken place coming in close to my house, Dave's being the newest. I ordered the #3, slider and tender with fries and drink. Ran about $15. Which again to me, is a bit too high but what're you gonna do? The lobby itself was pretty common for this sort of place with some cool deco but nothing out of the ordinary. The line moved quickly and food was done in pretty quick order. As for the food, I felt it was pretty average for a hot chicken place. Me personally, I like the local joint who recently closed a bunch of their restaurants better, but that's just me. The chicken (I got the medium) had a bit of bite but wasn't overwhelming which was nice. It was pretty crunchy and didn't seem overly salty which some can seem. The fries were good and the pickles were delicious. The Dave's sauce was pretty good but again pretty standard. I'd eat again but probably won't go out of my way to go during busy times. We ate here for the first time this weekend. We were super impressed with the customer service. Everyone was super helpful and nice and always working to clean up the dining room. We ordered the HOT 2 tenders meal and added another tender. We did not need to order the extra tender. The food was great however, neither the tenders nor the fries were hot. We will try again and know how much to order and try a different heat level out of curiosity. read more

Came in on a Sunday around 5 and hardly anyone inside. Quick service and cashier was nice. Food was okay wasn't blown out of the water but it was fresh and hot, seasoned, and coleslaw was different but tasty. Just fyi- a slider is a single sandwich in size. It is not like what a small slider would normally be. If you like the taste of chorizo it's like their chicken is dipped in chorizo grease. The mild and lite mild is not spicy at all but not sure I could go any hotter bc I'm a baby. Pretty cool atmosphere, colorful inside, and plenty of room for family and friends. read more

We visited the second day they were open, and they had fun decor outside! The owner was greeting people at the front door and handing out menus. I appreciated the owner being there. The line to order didn't last long but gave us time to look at our handheld menus. My husband and I have ordered 2 sliders with 2 orders of fries to split at the Bricktown locations, so we did the same thing here. The inside had the matching Dave's Hot Chicken vibe of other places but still looked unique. They also have a large parking lot. We got our food to go and enjoyed it at home. Their fries are crave-able as they are sprinkled with spices. The sliders are creative as they are served with kale slaw, which brings a crunch to your bite. The Dave's sauce is a typical ketchup-mayo mixture with spices. Good to dip with and cool down any heat, and it's served cold. The chicken is crispy and juicy on the inside. My reason for 4 stars is the food is good, but not exceptional. I've had it a second time this past week and it wasn't the same as opening day. We tried Dave's Hot Chicken the day after they opened their Yukon location. They nailed it. We were greeted at the door by a friendly lady who went over the menu with us. Although the line was long, it went fast. From the moment we walked in the door, the employees were attentive, fast, and friendly. Our order came out extremely quick and it was delicious.
