Caniac combo with 6 chicken fingers, fries, coleslaw, Texas toast
    Maling S.

Raising Cane's dinner in Phoenix, AZ! We don't have Raising Cane's in Canada but when I travel to US, I search for the closest location, always. We always order Caniac combo with 6 chicken fingers, fries, coleslaw, Texas toast and unsweetened ice tea to share. Love the collaboration with Ice-T's Ice tea! We came on a weekday evening and it was quiet and it was the first time with our teenagers to try Raising Cane. They kept asking we should order a large amount of Raising Cane's sauce into my Stanley cup. Heck no! :) The restaurant is clean and inviting and it was nice dining in at this location.

I ordered a caniac combo with naked chickens and subbed the bread and coleslaw for extra fries and added an additional sauce. I received 6 overcooked chickens and a small amount of soggy fries and no extra sauce. We picked everything up about 5 minutes after the order was said to be done. We had to go back in to ask for our extra fries and they only added a few. Completely disappointed with this raising canes and will not return to this location. Staff was very rude when we asked for our order to be fixed by adding more fries like we paid for.

This is the second time this has happened, the first time I assumed it was a one off experience and didn't think to write a review. But when you spend $19+ on a caniac combo and your chicken fingers look more like nuggets, it's a problem. The chicken was so small it defeated the purpose of getting the meal. When the order is being bagged up, the employees can see the food and obviously know that the customer will be unhappy. Why not say something? Why let the customer leave knowing they will get home and be disappointed? Honesty is just as important as quality. Not worth spending the money

We love Cane's chicken! Went tonight for take out. Asked for extra sauce. They gave us a large drink cup full of sauce Best chicken ever! We are life long fans

I try not to eat much fast food, but hey the cravings hit or time only allows for something quick. Raising canes doesn't make me hate myself after I eat it. I see some recent reviews complaining about the size of the tenders, but I guess I was lucky as I feel like mine have been what I expected. The chicken is tender and the batter is seasoned well. The coleslaw tends to be more vinegar forward than sweet. I wish it was a tad sweeter. The bread and fries are just ok and I need more sauce!! I always forget to ask for more, but I personally think they should give more than just one small container when you order the big box. In any case, when the craving strikes I will come here.

Pretty standard meal which is good thing even at 9pm. These strips were good normally, but put them in the toaster oven and they came alive. Bread, slaw were fresh and the fries were fine, but also benefitted from the toaster oven. Ice tea seemed a bit less sugary than usual, but meal was still fine.

So when did the caniac combo become a kids combo? The chicken is dryer than the Sahara desert. The fries are cooked to f**k and the toast is harder than a stale bread that has been sitting out for months. PS: I never leave bad reviews but this I have to post I'm sorry. Please do better next time and make customers happy. Spend $12 for this...

These are NOT chicken strips. Try McDonald size chicken nuggets.

Great food but I feel I'm being scammed. Look at how the photo of these 2 chicken strips. The other 4 were not much bigger at all...here is 2 for comparison. Again, great food, but spending $20 for 10 chicken strips THIS SMALL and 4 pieces of toast is a joke...

From the outside, the place doesn't look like much, tucked away in a small shopping center. Once inside, there are a plentiful number of tables in the smallish restaurant, which does not feel at all cramped. It is tastefully decorated, and you order at a counter, and they will either call you to get your food or bring it out to you. On the day we were there, the owner was behind the counter and took our order. He asked if we had been there before, and since I had not, he took the time to explain the menu to me. They focus nearly exclusively on chicken tenders, and we opted to share The Three Tenders, which comes with...you guessed it...three chicken tenders (with your choice of heat level), three warmed tortillas, pickles, and alley sauce (the house dipping sauce) on the side. We added sides of French fries and Cole slaw, and the owner gave me a free fountain drink since it was my first time there. So nice! We grabbed a high-top table, and once the food came out, and I bit into the first tender, I knew I was eating the best chicken tenders I have ever eaten. Seriously. These are awesome and at a decent price, too. The tenders are very large and perfectly breaded. The spiciness matches the heat level you choose--not to little and not too much. No mushy tempura batter here either. And the house dipping sauce was perfectly suited to the tenders. The fries and slaw were great, too. If you like chicken tenders, you won't regret trying Hot Chicken Alley!

You pick the chicken spice level along with whatever sides you like. I got the lite heat due to me being a bit of a weenie, and it was sooo flavorful. The mac and cheese was incredible, I loved the seasoned topping! This spot is a must try.

The dry hot was my pick of the two, but I wish it was hotter. For a hot wing, it missed the mark for me just a bit. I'm not sure if that's because they used less pepper to prepare mine (originally, he brought them out but when he sat them down on the table, he took them back saying he forgot seasoning and brought them back shortly after with pepper flakes on them) Either way, the wings themselves tasted good. But not a stellar "hot" wing flavor to really hype me up. They run a number of specials, though, like $1 per wing sometime during the week. And I saw they had some weekday combos as well. Overall, they seem pretty affordable and they are a local business so I hope they do well! I may come back one more time to try it and get a final verdict on the heat and flavors to get takeout. The restaurant itself wasn't the cleanest. Our table was a bit sticky and seemed not washed recently, and the floor had dust on it (which I get is hard to upkeep during monsoon season). If I come back, I'd likely get take away and not do sit down though.
