It is super bright in here but food and service is great the owner who also owns the barbershop was super polite and was keeping the dining area tidy. It's been 2 recent visits for me now & the food is just not the same. I thought their food was amazing when we first discovered it after it first opened. I do see it's under new management now, so maybe that explains it. The chicken is now always dry & sort of mushy, the vegetables are soggy & the sauce, which used to compliment the food & flavors is now a thicker, much more spicy version that just overpowers everything. I'm so disappointed. Others in my party who do not order the chicken, feel it's the same as it's always been, so I'll give it an average rating now since it's not all bad, it's just nowhere as good as it was when we first moved to this neighborhood. read more

The place claims to be a Döner restaurant but it doesn't taste like they know how to make Döner. The dough or bread doesn't taste like it should. Some dishes are served with pita and the pita does taste homemade. The German potato salad is merely called that. It's not served warm or made with red cabbage but the parsley is fresh and ample. The Döner plate is served over Mexican rice. The ricotta pistachio cake isn't cheesy. The pistachios are mainly in the dough. Portions were good and the price was reasonable for the amount of food you get. There are some dedicated parking spaces out front. Overall this place falls short, especially sully if you're looking for something even remotely authentic. But I feel badly for the lady who is working here all be herself. read more

Never tried döner before and I'll say these are so good. There are lots of veggies inside and different types of meant to choose. The sauce combined ingredients well, and the tofu in the wrap was soft and well seasoned. Both döner and wrap come with a drink of your choice. Stopped in for a quick lunch and they were very busy! Husband and I split the chicken plate which had rice and salad buried under an enormous pile of shaved shawarma chicken. I didn't order the sides because I don't eat potato or bread. So double green house salad it is, lightly dressed with lemon only. The chicken had a great flavor and I enjoyed the rice. Amazing! I liked the spot that was previously here but this is wonderful as well! My husband picked up my take out for me here, it was ready on time and easy pickup. I ordered a falafel pita which also had other stuff in it like cabbage and tomatoes and sauces, and a side of fries with spicy sauce. Prices were totally fair for the massive amount of food I got. I had about half of my food leftover. The falafel was delicious, not overly fried or mushy, seasoned well! Fries were yummy too, I liked the creamy spicy sauce (wasn't too spicy!). I was excited to try this place based on the glowing reviews, but I came away disappointed as a whole. I got the special doner sandwich with chicken which comes with the addition of pomegranate seeds and a few other things. The sandwich was large and very filling, but the taste seemed confused and overwhelmed by ingredients. Too many things going on with none of them standing out. I tasted mostly the spice, not really the chicken or veggies. The chicken was rather dry and unseasoned, and the veggies didn't taste terribly fresh. Maybe I'm just not a fan of doners, or maybe it's just here. There are better tasting Mediterranean restaurants within 15 minutes in my humble opinion. I won't say which ones here, but you can read my other reviews. Those restaurants have way more flavor for the same (or cheaper) price. Worth a shot, but I don't think I'll be back. read more

Wow. Just wow. This place absolutely blew me away. I stopped by this German doner halal spot in Phoenix and got the chicken salad with a side of hummus. Let me tell you, every bite was perfection. The chicken was incredibly juicy and packed with flavor. None of that dry or burnt stuff you get at other places. This was next level. The herb sauce? Unreal. I could honestly drink it. It brought the whole dish together in the best way. To top it off, Jessica (the manager who helped me) was one of the warmest, kindest people I have ever met. So friendly, so genuine. We found this hidden gem and it did not disappoint! Everything was delicious from the falafels, hummus, Noodle salad, cigar burek, fries, dürüm döner and döner bread. Everything tasted so fresh and made with love. The falafels were some of the best I've ever had. It had a nice crunchy golden exterior and a soft interior. With the hummus it was heaven! The fries were really good with the special seasoning they put on top of it. It was very addicting. The cigar burek is filled with cheese and parsley. The döner was so much bigger than I expected, loaded with tons of flavors to appeal to your senses. These are German styled döner and my boyfriend is from Turkey, but said this is the best he's had of any kind of döner in the states. I am from Germany and have grown up eating Döner. The only chance I get to eat this is when I travel home on vacation and I literally crave it. So, it was a wonderful surprise to see this place pop up literally 15 minutes from where I live. When you walk in the place is clean and bright and you can see the three revolving meat cones for the beef, chicken and ground beef selections. My husband and I selected the regular beef Döner sandwich. The owner himself prepared it and I asked him where he was from and he said Nürnberg, Germany. This made me immensely happy. The bread was toasted in a panini press just as they do in Germany, then sauce consisting of garlic sauce and spicy sauce was added. The shaved meat came next and then the crispy veggies, lettuce, red cabbage, onions and pomegranate seeds for a pop of sweetness and radish slices for a little crunch, more sauce drizzled on top and voila, the best sandwich ever!!!! Here's just one small suggestion: The board confused because it differentiates the sandwiches as shawarma or gyros. When I saw that initially,I was really disappointed because I thought, oh no, this isn't Döner after all, it's just another Mediterranean gyros place. Döner is not that!!! Please take those tags off the board, and proudly advertise your sandwiches for what they are: DÖNER!! These are unique, they have a completely different (in my opinion better) flavor profile, spicing, texture! Please don't take a pass on this place thinking it's just another one in a million Greek or Mediterranean sandwich shops. Found this little hole of a gem by accident on Yelp. The owner's wife was all alone when I came in. She was so sweet and let me try the German potato salad. Who would think about potato salad at a middle eastern restaurant. It was really delish! I had the Doner pate and let me tell you everything was yummy. The sauces are so good. Food was just ok a solid 4. I docked another star because I didn't get my Cigar Burek's (that i was charged for), even though I asked if everything was in there. I had the Philly Cheese steak sandwich which was decent, but not sure i would go out of my way for that. Changed my mind, Had the Chicken Doner sandwich this morning for breakfast and it was pretty darn good. It was definitely a little different than just a chicken Shawarma sandwich.
