Got the chicken sandwich again. Sauce on the side which the cashier emphasized was a one time thing. If I'm paying almost $10 for a chicken sandwich why is that such a big deal? I expressed to the cashier that the previous time I got this sandwich it was soggy when I got home, even though I live less than 2 miles from this place. He said the amount that comes in a side cup of sauce is " a lot more" than what gets drizzled on the sandwich. I also asked for mayo and it did not come with any. I had to put it on when I came home. Besides that, the sandwhich was good but feeling like I can't get it the way I like it is a turn off and prevents me from coming back.

I stopped by there fir the first time and I really liked it. I tried the teriyaki bowl and white peach juice drink. It was around $15 . The owner was cool service was great and the ambiance was standard. I would go back and try other things.

I went here with a friend and it was my first time at this location. I do really enjoy the Park Place mall location, so I was excited to give this local business a go at their new site. I forgot to take a picture of our food, but we got the soy garlic and the honey garlic wings with fries, and we both loved it. It looks like a small portion you get, however, once eating it, I think it does a decent job of filling you up. The storefront is so cute as they are adding retail and were adding some dry Ramen it look like too. Definitely worth a stop if you're looking for food around the area!

I'm glad we found this place, the food was amazing the wings were delicious it's definitely better thank the chain places you'd would regularly go to. The service was great, friendly and attentive! The prices are also well priced! We will definitely be back and give other food items a try.

I've been meaning to pop into Oh My Chicken! for awhile now and finally made it in for a late Friday lunch. And the short version is that I fully understand the name now because it was amazing! I had the regular size Crispy Teriyaki Chicken Bowl and it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly breaded, tender, and flavorful. The rice base was super tasty as were all the toppings - mayo, egg, and seaweed. Honestly, the whole thing was so darn good - I was pleasantly surprised at how simple but flavorful the dish was. I also tried the side of rice cake fries, which were the perfect combo of crispy and chewy. Dipping them in both the sriracha mayo and honey soy sauce took them to the next level - for sure will be having those again! The serving sizes were good and the prices are reasonable. Parking out front is limited but there's a lot around back. The restaurant itself was clean and comfortable, and the gentleman helping me at the register was awesome - he walked me through the menu, answered my zillion questions, checked on me once I got my food, and made my first visit super easy. I'll definitely be back again to try the rest of the menu!

What a hidden gem! I have been seeing all my chicken for some time and I was blown away. I ordered the sweet chili wings with the sweet potato fries and they weren't kidding when they said they made them by scratch. They were juicy, moist, deliciously crunchy with an incredible sticky sauce on top. Truly, some of the best chicken in the city! My sweet potato fries were piping hot and soft on the inside. I was gobsmacked that something so simple could taste so good. I'm 100% coming back, with the big range of flavors I can only imagine how good they all are. Our service was awesome, he was incredibly hospitable, and the ambience was very clean. If I had to give any constructive feedback it would be to maybe add in some plants or some type of wall decor as the interior was on the bare side. But honestly if they keep focusing on the food the way they are they're going to be fine!!

This was our first visit. We will definitely be returning. The food was amazing!! Even my kids loved every bit of it. The customer service was top notch. It's a cute little place inside and kept very clean.

We were out and about yesterday, and it was getting towards lunch time. As we ran down the list of places that we might want to grab a quick bite to eat at, my wife said that her co-workers had spoken highly of place called, Oh My Chicken on Campbell and Glenn. Being the kind of guy who "goes with the flow", I was in for giving it a go. As we pulled in, I noticed that the decor was very simple, but that the vibe was that the place was exceptionally clean and tidy. We were greeted warmly by a Korean woman at the register. As we moved closer, the cook, who could be seen through the small square window between the front of the restaurant and the kitchen, joined in to welcome us by waving and nodding his head with a warm smile. No doubt to it, when you go here you are going to start your meal with a warm welcome. We ambled up to the counter and took a peak at the choices available. The menu here is very simple. Despite that, I still deliberated for a bit between going for a dish with just the chicken--or going for a meal deal that showed a photo of fries and a small cup of pickled cabbage accompanying the chicken . *I have not had fries since December 28, 1999, (just this dumb challenge thing that I am involved in, that I will probably go to my grave to make a point)...anyway, I did not really want to break my 25 year streak, so opted for the chicken and mayo rice bowl. But then it was explained that one also has the option of going for a meal with a side of sweet potato fries (*still not a choice that I wanted to go with, less I have someone tell me my streak was technically over). But then, it was further explained that one could get sticky rice as a pairing to one's chicken. When this came to light, I decided to wait til a later date to try the mayo bowl. I chose the sweet option; my life-partner went with the hot option (she generally chooses hot things--which is a thing she started years ago when she first met me.) (*crickets) The chicken tenders were brought out relatively quickly and we found them to be very juicy and flavorful. I enjoyed every bite, as did my spouse. We don't drink soda very often, but on this day, Doctor Pepper called to us. There is something to be said about the super satisfying combo that can be found in the pairing of those carbonated 24 flavors and a bowl of steamy crispy chicken bites and rice. Yum. The place had settled in to a lull after their lunch rush, so we were gifted with a visit to our table by the chef. He put down his apron to come out and ask us how we found the food. He smiled and nodded with appreciation and seemed pleased that we were pleased. He was super kindly (as was the woman from the cash register, who also came over to join us). Through his broken English and my one-word of Korean (gomawoyo) we exchanged pleasantries and a friendly bond was made. My only complaint would be that parking at all of these businesses that happen to be located along this stretch of Campbell wedges your car in a spot that is only a few feet off of the main drag. Getting back onto the thoroughfare is often challenging. But aside from that, the place is definitely worth visiting. The experience, for me, could be "samurai-zed" (*I know, wrong culture--that is indeed a bad pun). Anyways, our visit could be, "Sumo"-rised (so, apparently, I am going to just lean-into my dumb-American persona)...Anyway, all bad culturally-ignorant puns aside, our visit was enjoyable and I am sure that sometime soon, when I find myself near here around lunch time, I shall return.

Great little spot that my son found went to check it out. We got chicken tenders and chicken wings. I was not prepared to how big they were going to be, but they were cooked to perfection. The breading they were crunchy. The glaze was amazing and they are made to order so you need to be patient because it does take a minute to get your order, but you will not regret it. The place is very clean. Very nice. It's located on a little strip mall. It has additional parking in the back and the people that work, there are very nice if you're into Korean chicken wings this is the place to visit.

I'm a big fan of Oh My Chicken, but Park Place is really far from my house. I was thrilled when I saw that a midtown location was opening up and stopped in as soon as I saw they were up and running for the soft opening. The man who took my order was so friendly and despite the fact that only two people were working, my food came out fast. My glazed chicken tenders were perfectly cooked and the sweet chili sauce was the perfect balance of flavors. The fries were also very tasty, and the pickled cabbage is always a nice compliment. I will definitely be back.

Bone in wings, chopped in a garlic soy sauce, mayo rice bowl with chicken and fried rice cake

I've been wanting to try this place for sometime now, but I've never near it when I'm thinking about it. Happily all changed today. I've never tried Korean chicken before, but have seen lots of people mentioning in it online so I went in kind of blind, only using other Yelpers photos as a guide. Jason was working behind the counter and he was very patient and helpful. He explained the difference in the sauces and made suggestions according to my likes/dislikes. I tried the bone in wings with the garlic soy sauce, and the mayo rice bowl with the chicken, which is tossed in a teriyaki style sauce. I also got an order of the fried rice cake "fries" which were certainly unique. They cooked the food to order so it took about 10-15 minutes for everything to come out and it was definitely worth the wait. I love the crispiness of the bone in chicken wings and the flavor of the garlic soy sauce that it was tossed in. Jason came from behind the counter a couple times to check on me and make sure that I enjoyed everything. I asked about the fried rice cake and ask if it was just eaten plain or if it was supposed to be dipped in a sauce like fries with ketchup. He suggested a sweet chili sauce for dipping and brought one over for me and that definitely made a big difference. I had to save half of everything to take back for my Mr. to try since he would be pissed if he found out I went without him, but it was hard to do that since it was soooo good I wanted to keep eating it. It definitely calls for a return visit (or 10)

They were checking in constantly for refills of drinks or placing orders. The food overall was good, the marinades had a lot of flavor. I tried some sides that I had not gotten last time I was there which was the fried shrimp, kimchi cream pasta and the grilled corn cheese (no photo). This is going to be my preferred spot for kbbq. The only other one I have tried is Taeguki. I like that Kotu has more options for sides and the they do not skimp on them. They also do not charge extra for the grilled cheese corn. I would highly recommend this place. We went with a stroller and the waiter took away 1 chair so the stroller could sit by the table without being in anyone's way. Given that this place is amazing I'm excited to eventually try the owners new restaurant Seoul Shi.

First, the pricing and portions don't really make sense for groups larger than 2. The menu states a minimum of 2 people, but even with 3 people at the table, each round was still limited to 3 meats and 2 sides total. The portions are definitely designed for 2 people, so with 3 adults we were finishing each round very quickly. As for the food, the beef bulgogi was easily the best meat we tried. It was flavorful and well-marinated. The pork and shrimp were okay, but they weren't nearly as good as the beef. One thing that surprised us was the lack of sauce and condiment options compared to other KBBQ restaurants. Aside from salt, pepper, a house sauce, and a spicy chili sauce, there wasn't much available. We've been to other KBBQ spots that offer things like sesame oil, minced garlic, lettuce wraps, fruit slices, and additional dipping sauces. They did have sliced garlic available, but whenever we asked for it, the staff seemed annoyed by the request. The grill service was excellent. They were constantly checking on us and changing the grill quickly, which we appreciated. Food also came out very fast during our first and second rounds. Unfortunately, everything changed after that. We finished two rounds within about 30 minutes because the portions were small for three people. Once we were ready for our third round, we ended up waiting around 20-30 minutes just to place the order. During that time, it honestly felt like we were being ignored. Considering the restaurant charges $39.99 per person and has a 2-hour dining limit, losing that much time waiting is frustrating. We probably could have fit in additional rounds if service had remained consistent. To make matters worse, one of our sides from the second round (corn) never arrived. When we mentioned it to a staff member, his response was basically, "Oh, you did?" He said he would check on it but never returned. About 5-10 minutes later, another employee came over thinking we had finished because our table was completely empty. We explained that we were still waiting on the missing corn and that we'd been trying to place our third round order for quite a while. Thankfully, that employee immediately apologized, took our order, and made sure everything came out quickly. He completely turned the experience around. We received our missing items, and they even brought us an extra corn and kimchi fried rice that we didn't ask for, which was appreciated. The frustrating part is that the service had great momentum during the first half of the meal and then suddenly stalled. The restaurant was extremely busy, and it felt like staffing may have changed or people went on break during peak hours. Meanwhile, tables around us seemed to be getting round after round while we sat with an empty table waiting. The food was good, especially the beef bulgogi, and the employee who stepped in at the end deserves recognition for making things right. However, for $39.99 per person, long waits, missing items, limited portions for groups of three, and inconsistent service made it difficult to feel like we got our money's worth.

As we began to look,(basically, we just did a google search) , Wings and Rice showed up on our, "food radar" . After noting the high number of 5-star ratings that were consistently being given to WINGS & RICE by my fellow Tucsonians, my wife asked if I would stop by and grab some wings to bring home to share with our honored guests. Upon arriving home, the wings were quickly decimated by our guests. The fact that they were gobbled up so fast and raved about, is probably the best and most-honest evidence that the numerous five-stars ratings given to WINGS & RICE are "spot-on" in their assessments. The place is "kind-of unassuming"--as it sits on the south-east corner of Pima and Craycroft in Tucson. Despite the fact that I have passed it numerous times-- wondering about it, and even considered giving it a go, I ultimately have never stopped in. Shame on me, as i we came to really enjoy the food here! This does then beg the question... "How many other hidden gems like this have I been passing by?" But then, in the bigger view of it all, isn't this the primary reason that YELP exists?! I think YELP got its name from the sound a dog makes after being kicked--which is what should have happened to me for passing this place so many times. ( *That origin story is not true--I just made that up for comedic effect.) So anyways, in my humble opinion (*for what that is worth), the place is the culinary equivalent of Duncan the Tall--a simple, but honorable hedge-knight in the HBO series, "A Knight of the 7 Kingdoms." (It's not my place to recommend TV shows here, but this one is a good 'un). And, if you are thinking that my saying this restaurant is like a lowly knight roaming the country-side seeking justice and honor is a criticism against W&R, you are so-so-so wrong! My comparison is intended as a compliment in the highest of regards. For, like Dunk, this place embodies the true ideals of what it means to serve. WINGS & RICE does not adorn itself with fancy-pantsy decorations and art. Instead, it strives to modestly, and without "pomp and circumstance" follow the noble ideals of serving up high quality and tasty chow (at reasonable prices) to the tired, huddled masses--yearning to breath free and fill their bellies. So, my lords and me ladies, pray, allow me to express my final thoughts on the matter of sustenance and refined beverages that can be had-ith at WINGS and RICE... If one be-ith in the moodith for-ith some tastely victuals, this be-ith the place. I probably just lost all shreds of any "street cred" that I may have had-- with my, "playing the fool" by comparing the W&R to a character in a show. (*not to mention my attempt to use the language of the middle ages and falling short). Despite all that, don't pass this place up. It really is, "the good stuff". Make yee way, post-haste and full-tilt to-ith WINGS & RICE!!! Anon! Post script. We opted for the buffalo wings and the lemon and pepper wing flavors from their menu. The lemon and pepper offerings went first and were demolished in seconds...but the buffalo flavored ones did not last long either. Our guests nearly came to "unshielded swords" over who would get the last of these tasty morsels of delectable meats. *And, an added bonus was the side of rice, which, while I was waiting for my order to be completed, I over-heard two different patrons rave about. Cah-ching! They were not wrong... "food-ith of the gods" were those starchy seasoned soft and sticky white grains of heaven--bathing in spicy buttery flavor!
