I will say that this is the best experience that I've had at a Raising Kane's location. The chicken was actually fresh and crisp, which is not the experience I've had elsewhere. Canes is one of our favorite fast food spots and figured it was an easy choice since we arrived in around 9pm tonight. Ordered via the app figuring it would be easy and accurate... Curbside was not available. No biggie we can walk inside. Issue 1 - Cup was put inside the bag with lid stuffed inside. Order was missing a drink and person picking up didn't realize it to ask (shouldn't have been an issue as other orders were there with drink carrier.) Issue 2 - Requested ketchup and none was provided. Also, there was nothing to put ketchup in at the self serve area other than a paper thing and no lid so that doesn't work for take out. This location has went completely downhill! I asked for extra crispy chicken cooked for 7 minutes total and was told the max extra time they will cook the chicken for is now a 1 minute max. I also asked for crispy fries and when I received the fries some were raw and half cooked with grease on them. They said the new "1 minute max" extra crispy rule was for all Cane's locations which was a complete lie. We called other locations and they said there was no such company wide rule in place. This location decided to cheat the customers by not offering "the order the way you like it" feature which has always made dining at Cane's so great, to speed up the line. Nothing special here at this location that warrants repeat visits anymore. Chick-Fil-A, Popeye's and actually Houston Hot Chicken are better options than this location. I have loved Raising Canes chicken from the very first time I tried it! The chicken is moist and their special sauce is to die for! I personally think the sauce is what makes the meals delicious! And don't forget the toast! It's a perfect blend of butter and crunch! The cons of this location: is that they have messed up my order over and over again. It is normally when I go through the drive thru and I end up very disappointed that I did not get what I ordered. I can confidently say that I have had more messed up orders through the drive thru than correct orders. Examples: I asked for sauce on the side on the sandwich combo and it wasn't on the side. Then another time, I asked for extra fries instead of cole slaw before and still got the cole slaw and no extra fries. I finally get to try Raising Cane's!! There's always a long drive-thru line every time we pass by so it's taken us quite a while to go try Raising Cane. I honestly don't know what to expect because they are just chicken fingers. However, they are so good! The few times we've been here, the chicken fingers have been very consistent. The chicken fingers are decently sized and the fries are so good. Don't get me started on their Texas toast because I always order an extra one so I get to eat two every time I'm there :) Our orders always come out pretty fast and the place is always clean. I've been to this location multiple times. I've had orders messed up slightly but things happen not a big deal, moved on from it. But tonight... tonight was just TERRIBLE. We ordered a 3 finger combo with a sweet tea extra cane sauce. A box combo no slaw extra toast with (and asked if they could) half sweet half unsweetened tea. 2 extra toasts, extra side of fries, 2 extra cane sauces and 2 honey mustards. We get to the window they hand us a large half & half tea. Thought it was odd (maybe ran out of regular sizes?) handed us our food. We asked about the other drink. Then was told oh what happened was they upgraded one to a large... what??? Then said it would be an additional $1 something for a regular drink... ended up just getting a large for $2.25 cause I love sweet tea. Already irritated by all of that just wanted to let it go and go home and eat. Get home and instant regret. We did not receive the 3 finger combo at all and not all of the sauces.. I just don't understand where all of this miscommunication came from. We never switched anything up to make it confusing, only asked if the half & half tea was possible. In the past I've never thought Raising Cane's was that exciting, but I've changed my mind. I stopped in after a night out (not drunk) for food and found it to be pretty tasty. The outside of the restaurant has lots of parking and good thing since this location seems to be busy all of the time. The dining room is large and was clean when I visited. The chicken came out piping hot. The breading and chicken on the tenders was good. I also liked the crispy crinkle fries with the delicious sauce on the side. The slice of toast was buttery and perfectly toasted. I ordered the 3 Finger Combo so it didn't come with coleslaw, but my friend didn't want his so it was mine. I found the portion size of a large to be severely lacking, and what I had planned to eat for dinner became a snack. Please get a standard of portion size when serving french fries to people, or at least serve as much as other chains do. I cringe to imagine what a small fry would be. The service was terrible with it being dangerous in the drive through. Almost had three accidents in the drive through. They over charged us plus got our order wrong. I asked for ketchup three time when we got our food I asked the girl if the ketchup was in the bag and she laughed at me and said it was in the bag. I couldn't drive out of the drive through because the driveway was blocked. Nobody was directing the traffic which made it very dangerous. Stay Away From this Place. You've been Warned!!!' Update, after leaving this bad review and leaving messages to Corporate and for the store manager nobody called us back. They don't care about anything but making money. I ordered a sandwich meal and a 4 piece, my daughter I were enjoying it until I noticed my chicken in my sandwich was raw, yes raw, I touched it and the chicken was sticky, so raw. My daughter took my plate to the counter and was told we'd get a new sandwich, that took 5 minutes only we didn't get a sandwich, we got one strip in the box, the man Derrick told my daughter that we had eaten most of it already and that is what they were giving us. My daughter was so disgusted by the hole ordeal that she ended up throwing out all three strips and we walked out of there very dissatisfied. With as many customers as you get during the day, they couldn't of just accommodated us with a clean sandwich with cooked chicken. No care whatsoever about it. I won't be going back to eat there again. Do better, some people are struggling and this could have been A special treat for us. My daughter hadn't eaten in days do to being really sick and she was really wanting some nice chicken. How sad that such a big establishment would do me like that. Never again. Raising Cane's is the definition of knowing your brand, honing in on a small menu and high quality product. The food is always good and always fresh. It is generally always consistent, sometimes small details or modifications slip through the cracks, but in general this location is reliable. Cane's fresh-squeezed lemonade is handily winning the competition against their other (fried) chicken rival, much more balanced and less bracing acidity. This is literally the ONLY fast food place where my boyfriend and I get our own drinks because I HAVE to have it! And my newest addiction there (on the recommendation of an employee) is double buttered bread- it takes the already carb loading meal to a whole new level of toasty indulgence! If you happen to be in a hurry, choose the drive thru. After being a somewhat regular patron of dine in, carry out, and drive thru, I feel I can confidently say the drive thru will almost always go faster than carry out unless there is the rare occasion of an emptier dining room. read more
