The staff at Raising Cane's was absolutely on the ball today (now a couple of days ago). The restaurant was packed, but they did an incredible job keeping everything running smoothly and efficiently. Our food came out quickly, piping hot, and--most importantly--exactly right. Tables were being cleared almost as soon as customers left, and the entire restaurant was exceptionally clean despite the constant flow of people. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming as well. I was genuinely impressed by how well this team handled such a busy dining room. Great job all around! read more

We ordered our regular 3-box fingers and kids meal I left off the toast an ordered extra fries then we split them. I crossed the street, almost got hit by a car, went up in this place and it was hot. Really hot. Like bein in da club, red lights everywhere, with these messed up looking horned dudes with tails. Sharp teeth, definitely needed to brush better. They were surrounding this bigger thing, person, I don't know what he/she/it was, even bigger horns with fire coming out of its eyes. I'm not a chicken-finger fan, so in my book this is closer to a three-star A-OK place to eat, but to be fair, I do think it will be at least a four-star experience for most (assuming you like chicken fingers) . The portions are generous and the "Cane's Sauce" is pretty good. Thuy and I ordered a single CANIAC combo (6 Chicken Fingers, Extra Fries, Coleslaw, 2 Cane's Sauce, Texas Toast, Large Drink all for about $10). The chicken was tender and cooked nicely. The other sides were tasty too, and a bit of substituting is allowed if you not a fan of any of the included items. The only thing we thought odd is that there is a 23 cents charge if you want a glass of water. I'm not fundamentally opposed to the idea of charging for extras, but for a glass of water? Bottom line: It was tasty, and I'm glad we checked it out. But if I'm craving chicken I would still personally prefer it in wing form, covered in a spicy sauce. read more

I love this place. There is something extra special about Raising Cane's. Their chicken always comes out hot and crispy. It is flavorful and delicious. Together with their fries... Of course it's a good combination. To top it off, they add a fluffy Texas toast. My favorite part is the sauce. This sauce... Is incredible. It is a true mark of Cane's, to the point where they charge you for these sauces. It comes with the territory and it is worth it. It's their way of putting value to their sauce, which means a lot to them. If you're a "I'm picking about the ice" person, they give shredded ice to their drinks, which goes so well with their signature lemonade. I will say this again.... I love this place. read more

Today when I rolled out of bed I had a craving for chicken so I thought I would go give Canes a try today. I ordered my food from the nicest cashier that I've ever met! When the canes crew sent out my order and I first layed my eyes upon the food, I think I heard hallelujah in my head and the food almost had a glowing white aura around it and I knew this food had to of been made an angel. I was right. I demanded to meet the Chicken cognoscente that had made these flawless chicken tenders and out came Kevin Luke Langham. Not only was he handsome, but he was built exactly like jay cutler. I just had to tip the man all of the cash I had and even my credit and debit card!! Very unhappy with my order yesterday. I ordered the box and y he caniac. The fries were okay but the chicken had a burnt taste to it, as if the oil was old or just needed to be changed. I am giving this a mixed review. The chickens good (if you get to go it get soggy. Better eaten there). Fries are ok. Slaw is nasty nasty bad. Even hubby won't eat the slaw and he loves slaw. Here's where they make me mad. Ok so i know it's a small gripe but i just don't understand the reasoning. Canes sauce is not tasty at all to us. We can't stand it. I love either a ranch bbq mixture Or honey mustard. They have honey mustard or canes sauce. So we asked for 4 honey mustards. They charge like .75 for each honey mustard and they aren't large. However canes sauce is free. Again same container. Maybe it's petty or maybe it's a Texas thang, but honey mustards sort of a norm or gravy. Not funky canes sauce. (They don't have gravy). Anyway if honey mustard was free I'd possibly raise my rating. Maybe not though because the prices are totally expensive for what you get. The tenders are often skinny and small. Better off getting chicken express. We've boycotted it now due to the honey mustard issues read more

One day we were feeling fat and my husband ordered an entire tray of chicken, it's 25 pieces. It took us three days to finish. I was impressed that on the third day (we were reheating in the microwave or toaster oven) the chicken was still delicious, juicy with a nice, crisp breading. And I like that canes is not about the breading, it's about the chicken- which is the real winner of the meal. The breading is nice but doesn't take over and suffocate the chicken! read more

Great food, but the inside is never very clean. Always Dirty tables. I think the problem is staffing. They seem to have 1 cashier who doubles as dining room duty attendant. Not enough time for both. My son and I headed to Cane's for dinner, and it was a great dinner. When we arrived, the ordering took a bit, but the cashier explained that they had a power outage. No worries. Manager then explained that the dryers had cooled. The order would take a while, because they had to let the dryers reheat or the chicken would be mushy. We waited. Someone at this location dumped an entire shaker of salt into my fries, more salt than any human being could reasonably digest in a 24-hour period, and the toast wasn't toasted at all... just droopy, soggy, greasy toast... not what I wanted after a long day at work. Our family had our first "experience" at Raising Cane's in Keller last night. We've heard some people saying how good it is, so we were anxious to give it a try. What a disappointment! I was shocked when we walked into the restaurant and were the only ones dining in on a Saturday night. While the dining room was empty, a number of the tables were completely full of trash. It was odd that nobody was cleaning; nobody was at the front counter. Once they noticed us standing there, a girl started cleaning and a no personality teen took our order. But, hey, it is the food that people rave about, so still looking forward to what would be coming. The choices are limited to the number of chicken fingers you'd like. 7 bucks will get you four chicken fingers, fries, toast and coleslaw. So we order, and wait...and wait...and wait...and wait. 30 minutes later, I approach the counter and ask what the hold-up might be and the kid that took our order says, "Well, we have 14 cars in the drive-thru who are waiting 15 minutes. Someone dropped the food and we had to remake everything." No apology, nothing. But, again, the food is supposed to be amazing, so still on-board. We finally get our order and open the boxes to reveal - the most ridiculously tiny chicken fingers I have ever seen!!! With no exaggeration, the chicken tenders are about the size of my thumb. Maybe that is why they call them fingers? So, four chicken fingers is the equivalent to one very small chicken breast. Were they good? Meh. Certainly nothing to cheer over and certainly not worth the prices they charge. Raising Cane's in Keller is about hype right now, but unless they focus on better service, restaurant cleanliness, and portion sizes, we will not be back. read more

I went into RC's with high hopes. Any chain that bases its mascot and decor off of a yellow lab, is already top notch in my book. I have owned yellow labs almost all my life. Absolutely love them! I found out that is all we have in common, unfortunately. The store is new, clean, and organized. What first stood out is the menu. Very few choices. I was a bit disappointed to be honest. So I got a chicken finger basket with fries and some orange looking sauce with black specs in it. My meal for my one plate cost me a full $10 bill. Pricey for just simple chicken strips and some fries and the portions were not generous whatsoever. I tasted their sauce: black pepper with a touch of thousand island. It was not good. I looked around, saw no other sauces. Certainly they have honey mustard or ranch. The lady behind the counter gave me honey mustard. She seemed rather surprised I didn't like the black pepper concoction. Ummm most chicken places are happy for you to use whatever and offer it up front as a result. It was almost like I broke some protocol of culture. When I was done eating, I wasn't that full, but it had curbed the appetite a bit. I sort of feel for a $10 bill, not purchasing a drink, I should get enough fast food to at least minimally fill me up. I couldn't shake the minimalistic menu, just odd to me. So I just went back to review online their menu. You ready? They serve: chicken strips, fries, bread, drinks, and that is it. They package it all varying ways, but that is it. I personally hope they wake up and expand their menu to include a desert and maybe at least one other option, maybe fried pickles? Fried Okra? Fried Jalapeno stuff with cheese? Anything? I went three times and felt out of place as if this restaurant is a failed venture. Too pricey for what they give and are reluctant to give out anything but their pepper thousand island dressing. The food is pretty good for fast food. It may just be my preference, but I'd rather the breading stayed on the chicken instead of pealing off as damp breading. I prefer each bite of a chicken strip to include crunchy batter. I was disappointed to find HIDDEN CHARGES. Most meals include 1 sauce, but some could use at least one more...that will cost you $0.35 each. Want lemonade for your drink selection?...that will be an extra $0.30 per lemonade. Semi-greasy chicken fingers, slow service, and a little pricey. It all adds up to a "meh" experience for me. The Cane's sauce is good- sort of a black pepper gravy dipping sauce for your fingers. You can ask for hot sauce (free) or honey mustard (extra charge) if you don't like the house sauce. The fries are crinkle cut and pretty good actually, cole slaw is just OK. The toasted garlic bread is excellent and pretty much always fresh. If slaw is not your thing you can substitute extra bread. As you can imagine the menu is hyper simple- chicken fingers or a chicken finger sandwich. You can order several sized boxes, each that include a medium soft drink and one of two sides. There's a kids option that includes 2 finger, fries and a small drink. The location is small and clean. Cane was the name of the original owner's pup so it's sort of dog themed. read more

The chicken is pretty good quality, the French fries are crinkle cut fries. I don't like the fact they don't have ranch or other sauces. If you like there Cane's sauce and ketchup you would probably be a fan. I think the Cane's sauce is ok. I like to have more choices in my dipping sauces when I'm eating chicken. read more

That being said this is my go to place for fast food chicken tenders. I've yet to have anyone not enjoy them and the sauce is yummy. On the plus side they have good iced tea and lemonade as well. It's a chicken finger joint, and they are okay enough for me to return once a week. They need to allow the breading to dry on to the chicken fingers before cooking so that it adheres better. Good lemonade, friendly staff, clean restaurant. read more
