    Dave's #2 2 Sliders w/ Fries

Holy yummm! Will most definitely be back. The sandwich as a whole was delicious. The spicy mixed with the coleslaw. The staff were super friendly and patient. The property was very clean.

I had no intention on coming here today but as I was driving by, I saw there was no crowd and I took a gamble and stopped in. Debating my life choices in the car while perusing their online menu and ordering system, and BOOM! I created an account and placed my order online using Apple Pay. So easy to make and pay for bad decisions! Knock off one star for lame Mac n Cheese. Otherwise, one very tasty and hot (spicy) chicken slider that made me sweat (in a good way). Kale Slaw was very good. Interior and the decorations are all part of the restaurant chain's image and who doesn't like a toy rubber chicken? I will likely indulge myself with another chicken slider in the future. Maybe I'll go hotter next time.

We have been wanting to try this place out but was always so busy so we happened to be trying the new car wash out beside them a notice. It was very slow, so decided to give it a go. We got daves #1 mild for 11.99! The two pieces of chicken that you get are literally HUGE!!!! You also get crinkle fries which i love! The chicken was amazing and the flavor was on point!! Daves sauce was also delicious highly recommend getting it for dipping!! I would return.

Ordered the "Extra Hot" meal with a slider and a tender, plus fries and a drink. A bit on the pricy side, but good - although my girlfriend ended up with a two tender meal but made "Mild." Also I appreciated the sauce and pickles - a nice touch. Service was quick and the restaurant was clean, with several employees coming out to clean while we enjoyed our meal. The dining room is a bit small, but there is a drive-thru and the place is open late, so I would take it home next time. I took my leftovers home and it didn't make much of a difference heating them up in the microwave. While I'd come back solo, I'm not sure my girlfriend would ever need to return, as the menu is limited for someone who does not like spicy food.

This is literally an adult version of McDonalds. You can't go by what others say. You need to hop on over and try it. It's new to the area and the drive tru backs up at times. Be patient it's new. Listed picture has the menu to help you decide what you'd like to try and speed up the ordering processes at the drive tru. (Edit) Ehhh give it a try. 12.99 and the drinks aren't included maybe I will stick with McDonald. The energy inside is very California. Didn't like it...

I had Dave's Hot Chicken for the first time this past summer while in Vegas, so I was excited to see it in PA while traveling through Harrisburg area. I pulled in during what was a little slow spell. I ordered right away and waited about 3-4 minutes for my food to be ready. Space was very clean and seemed to be very new. As I sat there eating the restaurant filled up pretty quickly. I opted for a mild spice level as I had a long drive ahead and felt it may be the best choice. I wish I had ordered hot however. The chicken came out piping hot. The chicken was well spiced. I opted for the combo that had a slider, a chicken strip and fries. By the time I added a small drink my total was up to $16 however. A little pricey for fast food, but admittedly it was a lot of food. I enjoyed the slider the most, but added a little more Dave's sauce. The pickles they gave with the food were really good. I am not a big fries person but these were good, nice spice coating. All in all I enjoyed my meal.

    Extra hot chicken combo meal.

I wasn't expecting much cause it's fast food, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food came out fast. The order was correct. The portions were bigger than I expected. The slider was the size of a full size sandwich. About the same size as a Chic-Fil-a sandwich. I got the Hot and my wife got the extra hot. The heat was about as much as I could handle, but not too hot. They give you a good amount of sliced pickles and the fries were seasoned well. My only complaint is drinks are not included with the combo meal. You have to purchase them separate. If you're serving hot and spicy chicken, drinks should come with the meal. Overall, a good experience for fast food.

The food is just okay, in my opinion. The chicken had a weird grittiness to it and was overly greasy but tasted alright.

Staff were also on top of things as they brought out drink refills before we needed them. My Wife got the stuffed French toast and she said it was delicious. The French toast was cooked really well and it was loaded a lot of cream cheese and fruit. When I asked my Wife if anything in particular stood out, she said it tasted like it was home made. I went with the baked oatmeal, which had coconut flakes, raisins, cinnamon, and had slices of banana and strawberries. I thought it was pretty tasty, but there are bottles of syrup on each table and drizzling some over it really hit the spot for me. This is definitely a spot that we'd go back to, especially since the is sizable. The menu offered a lot of other options, including crepes, and I feel confident that their other items would also be good.

I've been driving past Morning Fuel on the Carlisle Pike for the last few months. I'm a frequent…read moredriver out that way and every time I passed it, it always looked closed. So I wasn't sure if it was one of those businesses that kind of flopped and nothing had replaced it yet. Alas, I recently found out that it is, in fact, still open. And you know what they say: don't shop on an empty stomach. I was on my way to karns, and I concur. I decided to stop at Morning Fuel so I wouldn't make any hasty purchases while shopping. So I walk in, and the first thing I notice is the music. It's blaring early-2000s-ish rock music. Think Evanescence. Pseudo-angsty music, basically playing at the volume you'd expect in a club. The decor is like a really corny First Watch (live laugh love signage and pictures of measuring cups filled with grains) perhaps with little more edge. And there are straw wrappers and bits of food on the floor, kind of like the Texas Roadhouse peanut situation, except it's not peanuts. Shortly after I was seated, they swept the floor, so I'm assuming it wasn't intentional lol. So, yeah. First Watch on crack? Maybe? First watch's angsty step sibling? First Watch with obnoxiously loud music and a little harder of an edge. And honestly, First Watch and Morning Fuel are part of the same genre. You know what you're getting. And the genre is over priced diner. As far as the food goes, I got the stuffed French toast with blueberry drizzle, and it was really good. It did its job. Nothing spectacular, but a perfectly good breakfast. Overall, I'd say Morning Fuel is pretty average, but these places are kind of a genre unto themselves, and I can see why people like them. It was also a little cheaper than First Watch, which I like but don't really go to. This would not be a recurring haunt for me by any means, but I think it will be for some people. So if you like Evanescence and nu-metal more than you like the Jonas Brothers and other corny folky music, that's what they're playing at Morning Fuel. If you like black floors and a little less of a rustic vibe, that's what Morning Fuel is about. If you like the product that First Watch serves but don't necessarily like the First Watch vibe, you can go to Morning Fuel. Similar kind of product. Packaged differently. Maybe a little cheaper.

Joy's Grill & Burger House became a Friday Night Date Night destination during my birthmonth after…read moreI spotted them on social media. I've driven by Joy's a million times and somehow never noticed it before. It's tucked into a busy strip mall and easy to miss if you're not specifically looking for it. Spoiler alert: you should be looking for it. My quest for the evening included both a burger and a chili dog, because they both looked amazing and I wanted the full Joy's experience. My adventure buddy and I arrived around 5pm and I was honestly surprised to see only one other person inside when we walked in. We grabbed a booth by the front door and looked over the menu again to finalize our plan. Since it was our first visit, we decided to order a few things and split them so we could try more. We ordered the loaded chili dog topped with chili, cheese, onions, and mustard ($5.25) and one of the Big Block Burgers -- specifically the Joy's Burger -- which came with grilled onions and mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, LA sauce, Swiss cheese, and fresh cut fries ($12.99). Naturally we added bacon for an extra $0.99 because that felt like the right decision. We also each grabbed a Diet Pepsi (to maintain some illusion of balance) for $2.50 each. Our total came to $25.69 before tip, which felt like a pretty solid deal for a two-person Friday night dinner adventure. The setup at Joy's has a classic old-school diner feel. The grill sits right behind the seating counter so you can watch your food being made, and they mix milkshakes right out front as well. The place is simple and no-frills -- and in my experience, those "keep it simple and do it well" places are often the real heavy hitters. The chili dog came out first, and the first thing I noticed was that this thing was HEAVY. This wasn't your typical skinny hot dog -- it was a full ¼-pound dog absolutely loaded with chili. The flavor reminded me of a Cincinnati-style chili dog and it was really good. The chili was flavorful instead of just decorative, the mustard and onions were balanced perfectly, and the bun did its job without getting in the way. As someone who takes chili dogs very seriously, I have to give Joy's credit for delivering a straightforward, perfectly executed chili dog. Next came the burger and fresh cut fries, and when I say this burger was big, I mean BIG. Two patties tall with all the toppings stacked high. We sliced it in half and immediately dug in. The bacon was perfectly crisp, the mushrooms and Swiss were generous, and the whole thing just tasted like a real, proper burger. Not a chain burger that started life frozen and tastes like it could have been reheated in my microwave at home. This was the kind of burger you picture when you say you're craving a burger. The fries were exactly what you want from fresh-cut fries -- the smaller ones nice and crispy, and the bigger ones crispy on the outside with that soft, fluffy inside. Splitting the chili dog and burger turned out to be the right call. It would have been easy to eat everything solo, but my stomach probably would not have forgiven me later. Our server was super friendly and attentive throughout the visit. While we were there, a few more people came in to eat, but overall it felt relaxed and easy for a Friday evening. Parking is free since Joy's sits in a strip mall, but it can be a little tight because there are several other popular businesses nearby. We were able to find a spot without trouble, but I could see it getting tricky during busier times. If you're looking for solid burgers, legit chili dogs, and an old-school diner vibe, Joy's Grill & Burger House is absolutely worth seeking out -- especially if you're like me and always on the lookout for your next great burger or chili dog adventure.

Not bad fore a cheap meal but not filling for wine who's hungry amend definitely not suitable for a "man size" burger. Not saying that you're going to get a big pickle, just some pickle slices for the burger, but for an ext4a $1.00. Never going back, will warn others, and generally stay away from businesses that are CHEAP. Food | Experience…read more Pop by the McAlister's Deli in Camp Hill because somebody at my work got a sub that looked mighty scrumptious. It was a Friday night, probably around 6:30, and let me tell you: I think it was one of those occasions where my eyes were bigger than my stomach, or whatever that expression is. I ate too much. The food was good. Absolutely, positively no complaints about the food. In fact, I'd give the food four out of five stars. I think I just walked over the line a little bit, ate too much, and didn't feel particularly good after I left. So I can't give you the most scientific assessment of the food. I can just tell you that it was good. What I can speak to is my experience while I was there. It's Friday night, 6:30. There's one person working front of house, and it seems like there are a few people working in the back. They're separated in a way where they can't really intermingle--the only interaction is food getting handed through the window. When I get there, the woman working the front, bless her soul, seems like a super kind woman. She's brewing some tea while also waiting on customers, and apparently something goes wrong with the tea because it starts overflowing. Suddenly she's bouncing all over the place trying to clean this up while taking orders and dealing with customers. Meanwhile, there are a few workers back in the back of house, and nobody is really coming up to help her. And the dining room is basically empty. It's Friday night at 6:30, around when you'd think dinner rush would be starting. There are maybe two tables occupied in a dining room that could probably hold 20 or 30. That's not their fault. I understand that restaurants are dealing with a completely different dining environment these days. People are ordering DoorDash. People are eating at home. You don't need to hear my commentary on how I think restaurants should be run. I couldn't run a restaurant. But it did make me think: maybe we need to start making dining rooms smaller. Anyway. What I am going to speak to is staffing. I don't think there's any reason that, on a Friday night, there shouldn't be at least two people working the counter. Yes, I get it. It's slow. There were only a couple of people in the dining room. Maybe somebody was sick. Maybe there were circumstances I don't know about. There are always variables. But there's something kind of shitty about watching one front-of-house worker bounce around trying to keep everything together while nobody comes up to help her. You know what you signed up for when you franchise the fucking restaurant. You know what it takes to operate the place smoothly. And if that means two people need to be working the front, then staff it with two people. Because watching one woman juggle taking orders, making tea, cleaning up a mess, and trying to keep the whole place moving while she's clearly stressed out? That's cruelty. That's fucking cruelty. So, four stars for the food. Two stars for the experience. The food is good. If you're looking for a sub, I'd say go for it. But honestly? DoorDash it. You won't have to see this type of happenstance. You can sit at home, watch Austin Powers or Netflix, and have a DoorDash brody drop your sub off. Food: 4/5. Experience: 2/5.
