We live more than 30 miles away but still come to this place. Have tried out other places but quickly learned that many of the dentist offices in the triangle area have been bought out by Venture capitalist firms / private equity firms -- and their missions aren't often aligned with the interest of your child. As a medical professional myself I've seen how this plays out first hand. Absolutely love the service we receive for our kiddos. The staff doesn't seem to experience much turnover, the dentists are always super professional and friendly. Most importantly, they take their time and never seem to be rushing the appointment. Further, never feel like they are trying to sell us things we don't need. Would definitely recommend!! read more

By far, Raleigh Pediatric Dentistry is the best pediatric dentist we've been to. We have had experience with another practice that did not allow parents to go back with their child, had quick visit summaries given by the hygienist without ever seeing or talking to the dentist, as well as questionable recommendations for the sake of billing. Raleigh Pediatric Dentistry and Dr. Dave are the complete opposite. They take their time to get to know your child, allow parents to go back with their child, and go over visit summaries and recommendations without leaving you feeling rushed or unheard. I highly recommend Dr. Anne Baker and her team. My 7 year old daughter has been dealing with extreme anxiety about losing her teeth. Since her teeth have begun to wiggle, she has been panicking when we even mention taking her to the dentist or even when we try to help her brush and floss at home. We switched to Raleigh Pediatric Denistry a couple of months ago and we have already seen a huge improvement in my daughter's teeth and in her overall feeling about visiting the dentist and maintaining healthy habits at home. Horrible! This place calls itself a pediatric dentist and it is anything but- well maybe cute decor. No attempt was made to form a relationship with my child while having very painful work done. Then after having work done and appliance was placed and had to be regluded 3 times within 6 Months at my expense. Then it breaks at 6 months completely- Dr.Dave says there is nothing he can do. So I paid an insane amount of money for nothing and an appliance that's not even backed up by the doc. Also they always pressured me and acted liked something was wrong with my child, who goes to another dentist now who has taken time to get to know him and he behaves just fine. Elementary school teacher here as well- so if you have young kids steer clear of this place. Oh and not to mention if you are a mom of young kids, you won't be allowed to take another child in with you. Not sure what they expect you do do with baby if you are at home with both kids- Covid or not I have not run into this any where else and have both been to each other's peds appointments in Raleigh. read more

We have been going to see Dr Dave for almost 3 yrs and LOVE him and his staff! The office has an aquarium theme complete with fish hanging from the ceiling - too cool. His staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to make the children feel comfortable and at ease with their procedures. They let them touch and play with the chair and equipment before they use it and let them pick out the flavor of gloves they want Dr Dave to wear. As someone who was always afraid of the dentist as a child, I am so glad we found a place with a staff that really makes my child feel at ease. My eleven year old twins had to have sealants done and Dr. Dave and his assistants did a wonderful job explaining to them what was going to take place step by step, ensuring they were comfortable! My daughter was extremely anxious about extractions she needed, and Dr. Dave and Elsbeth were thoughtful, treated her with respect, and explained everything to her in an age-appropriate way. We have been patients of Doctors Dave and Betsy for a few years. My children have been so comfortable and excited to visit their dentist. Until recently, I had never experienced anything other than exceptional care from the staff here at Raleigh Pediatric Dentistry. My son recently required extractions and sealants. He was extremely tense in regards to the unknown. From the doorway, I called myself consoling him and explaining what was going on and what was happening. Dr. Dave entered the hallway and told me to be quiet and let the staff be the only voices he hear, as to keep from confusing him. I was appalled at least. No matter how comfortable my children have been with the staff here, there's no way I would allow anyone to speak to me in what I considered such a disrespectful manner. Instead of becoming confrontational or disrespectful myself, I decided at that very moment to take our business elsewhere. I doubt anyone else will experience this type of treatment. I appreciate Dr. Betsy and her regard for my son's obvious phobia, & we'll miss laughing with the hygienists at our visits. read more

Best dentist experience. My child is 3 1/2 and she loves going to the dentist because everyone is so friendly and nice. We talk about brushing our teeth well so that we can show the dentist our pretty teeth and she enjoys it. She also loves the little bag of goodies they give her which is so nice.
