Dr Kim and her Staff definitely receives 5 stars for all of the work they did on my teeth. For 3 years Covid curtailed my routine visits to the dentist in South Carolina. What resulted was an accumulation of work that needed to be done on my teeth. Dr Kim and her Staff created a plan in March 2023 and had completed all work in May 2023. The work done was awesomely exemplary. Everyone was involved from the Front Admin Desk to the Hygienists to Dr Kim. What an exceptionally nice group of folks. They executed their duties in a professional manner and made me feel comfortable at each visit throughout the long process. What resulted was that I received my smile back! I have been to many dentists over the years. Some were very good at what they did, but had no real concern for their patients. Others excelled at both dentistry and concern for their patients. Dr. Neuman is one of those extremely competent dentists who truly cares about her patients. She sets the tone in her office. All of her staff follow suit and care about her patients too. Dr. Neuman is state of the art. Her equipment and office are state of the art. And everything is spotless. I recommend Dr. Neuman unconditionally. read more

Literally one of the most evil human beings on this planet. I made an appointment last month, unaware that Dr. Wenda had sold his practice to this woman. A little back story, I'm extremely poor, did not qualify for subsidized insurance (ergo I do not have it), and a severe eating disorder as a child, teen, and young adult stripped away the enamel and wrecked my teeth. I started noticing pain in my canine about two months prior, and immediately started saving money to get it fixed. (Yes, I have to SAVE money to get them fixed). Dr. Wenda had fixed the last for $300, so I figured that would do. I gave them a call, explained my situation, and mentioned last time Dr. Wenda had fixed it for $300 and would that do. The receptionist on the phone immediately said Yes, without inquiring as to which tooth or how severe it was. She also NEVER mentioned Dr. Wenda had sold the practice. So I get there on the day of my appointment in so much pain that I am sobbing. Just touching my CHEEK causes immense pain. I get in there, they tell me I need an x-ray. I explain that I am paying cash and need to save it for actual dental work, and the dental assistant just sort of waves me off and says, "we'll work it out." Guess what kind of conclusions a poor person in extreme pain clutching her entire savings in her hands will jump to when one says, "We'll work it out"? I really don't want the x-ray. I tell her this. She again tells me we'll work it out and that the dentist will not see me without it. So I go through with it, get the X-ray, dentist comes in. She is NOT Dr. Wenda. At this point I'm still sobbing because I'm in so much pain, and without even blinking an eye she says, "It's gonna be $1800." My jaw nearly hit the floor. I immediately start crying even harder and tell her I only have $300 to my name, and she responds by TAKING OFF HER GLOVES and announcing she'll have a bill for me. Between the x-ray and the two minutes she deigned to speak to me, it came out to more than $300. Closer to $350 actually. And most health practitioners do us uninsured poor a solid by giving us a cash discount. Not this one. I cannot begin to describe how humiliating and demeaning it was to be literally gasping, unable to breathe because you are sobbing so hard, from pain and frustration and the shame of having to beg for a discount, a payment plan, pro-bono, anything...because you are so desperate to get it fixed and too poor to get it taken care of...and then having this shiny, adorable, bouncy haired rich dentist smile her happy perfect smile and then SHRUG, as if to say,"Like I care." I also cannot describe how humiliating it was to have the receptionist take money out of her OWN PURSE to help pay my balance. Humiliating, but god bless you, you are the only person in that entire office with a soul. To sum it up, I was lied to in order to get me in the door, about Dr. Wenda still owning the practice. I was lied to about them "working with what I had". I was lied to about that overpriced X-ray and "working it out". I was humiliated and belittled. And I saved for two months working overtime for an xray and NO treatment. To make things worse, the tooth is still bad, I'm in more pain than ever, and there's now a hard, nickel sized lump in my face, right where that root is. Could be a cyst, could be a tumor. Either way I'm too scared to go to another dentist now because I'm scared they'll do to me what she did. It hurts so bad I can't eat now. I KNOW for a fact if this horrible excuse for a dentist and her evil henchmen had some sort of humanity about them, I would not be literally scared for my life right now. Seriously, a payment plan wouldn't have killed you. But guess what? Lying to me, inflating charges, and then refusing to treat me, leading to this cyst or tumor, will likely kill me. This woman is evil. She will lie and say anything to get your money. Don't trust her or the liars she employs. read more

We've gone to this practice for several years and have always enjoyed our appointments with people who are looking to help you keep your teeth in great shape but not looking to always find cavities, etc. I appreciate the advice and "watch areas" to help you care without excessive problems found. We suggest this practice to friends and many of them have also gone here and love the practice also. They changed dentists a few years ago and added new services (pediatrics, orthodontia, etc) while improving quality of care and communication. read more

Doctor Neuman is the bomb! (Translation: personable, professional, patient-centered and caring.) This is my third visit and, on every single occasion, have found both her, and her staff, to be incredibly kind, patient, professional and thoroughly skilled at their craft. On this most recent visit, Doctor Neuman replaced an older, cracked metal crown with a newer ceramic version. Based on prior experience with a crown replacement with other dentists, I was apprehensive about (and accustomed to) being subjected to lots of time in "the chair," and lots of discomfort, if not outright pain. All I can say about my experience this time is "Wow!" From start to finish, the entire procedure--removing the deficient crown, preparing the tooth to be filled and then having a made-to-match crown permanently affixed--was completed within just two hours. That's right--no temporary crown and come back in two weeks for a permanent. A new ceramic crown was made in-house immediately and fitted. And the entire procedure was pain-free. I can't praise Doctor Neuman's skill enough--she is a terrific person with whom to trust one's dental healthcare! And to a person, her staff is equally, and uniquely, just like her: professional, kind, and caring. My wife and I both see her because of all of these qualities. Dr. Neuman is professional and knowledgeable, while also being friendly and kind. I have been a patient since the practice opened and the staff is excellent and appointments are kept on time. Dr. Neuman and her staff have taken care of several big issues for my elderly mother recently and I cannot speak more highly about how well they treated her. I never rated a dentist before, but one of the reasons I picked this place was by reviews. So, I thought why not! Being new to the area, and lacking dental insurance, I called around for the best prices. Caring Smile had a very competitive price, and Angie was extremely helpful telling me the prices and associated procedures. She also was not pushy to set an appointment (like some other places I called). I told Angie I'd call her back after making some other calls. I was so impressed with my initial call with Angie and the prices, that I pretty much knew I'd be going there. But I like to think of myself as an educated consumer; so, I had to call other places for comparison. When I eventually called back, Angie knew exactly who I was. They were able to get me and my wife in immediately...gold star for that alone! The waiting area was small, but nice, clean, and organized. They had a saltwater fish tank, which my wife proceeded to sit in front of and ogle...ha ha...she's a sucker for fish! A young child also enjoyed it later as I was waiting for my wife's appointment to finish up. I was in and out rather painlessly. The dental assistant (can't remember her name- let's get that website updated with staff bios) was a bit chatty, but very friendly and got the job done. It reminded me of Cheers. :-) Dr. Neuman is efficient, personable, down to earth, and knows her stuff. I couldn't ask for more in a dentist. No one LOVES going to the dentist. Well, maybe some weirdos do. :-) But I feel confident having my care here when I do have to go back. I know I'm in good hands with Dr. Neuman and her staff. read more
