Raley's is awesome!! Besides having great prices and friendly staff, this store does so much for our community. Sam (manager) is always helpful and supportive of our students. Just this year, the high school got a huge grant to install new water fill-up stations at school, thanks to Raley's. Also, Windsor Middle School received a lot of money and in-kind donations for their new WMS Culinary Program. For us, our student interns got to learn about healthy eating, customer service, marketing and soft skills when we met with Sam and his assistant managers. The remodeled Raley's, which opened yesterday, is a huge improvement. Particularly notable are the enlarged, up-front produce section and the great deli. I personally like that there are now six self-checkout stations, but for those who want humans for checkout, Raley's friendly staff is still around. Kudos to the company for investing millions of dollars for a successful remodeling. [A minor complaint - the white lettering on light brown (hanging) aisle signs isn't easy to read.] read more

I live out of town, but whenever I stop at this particular Raley's, I am completely impressed!! The staff is always so helpful, whenever I cannot find what I am looking for, and the store is immaculate!! I have never not seen it so organized!! When I first relocated to Sonoma County in 1997, Raley's struck me as a hometown grocer -- with clerks always striking up a conversation with you. Although it doesn't have the more up-to-date styling like Safeway (which, by the way, is the only reason why I did not give Raley's five stars), the service throughout continues to be excellent. Plus, you can always tell a good employer by the way the employees talk and treat each other. They joke around and have fun, even when they have to hustle. Windsor Safeway cashiers are pleasant to customers, but can speak down to their baggers. So, their pleasantness to me now appears phony. read more

It's been almost 3 years since we moved up here and I'm still shopping at Raley's. I still find them helpful, including the butcher. I hardly ever have to wait in line at the register. The cashiers and boxpersons are always cheerful and helpful. I feel like they are family. I like their Shop Reward program. I like that I don't need a card (I was getting too many reward cards filling up my wallet.) and I just punch it in the electronic card reader with my easy to remember code. read more

This has been our primary grocery store for 30 years. Nice remodel but seem to have replaced the old employees with incompetent young kids. Three in deli and I was the only one waiting. And after 10 minuets finally left. Also at 6:30 pm only one manned checker and a line at the massive self checkout area as terminal bugs not yet worked out... will likely call Fulton Raley's my new store for now very disappointing return read more

I love the new atmosphere! The customer service is better than anywhere else. The staff are always on the floor and super helpful when you need them. I've even been asked multiple times if I was finding everything all right on one trip which made me feel so looked after and taken care of which is super helpful considering I shop with two littles most the time. I like the staff at Raley's, they aren't overly, phony-friendly like the people at Safeway, who I guess are required to pounce on you every 10 seconds. But the store does smell bad. I don't know why. My husband doesn't notice it, but I can barely stand it! read more

I'm not even kidding this store is sooo amazing!! First off the music (sometimes) is amazing. I went in 9/30/20 and they had 70s 80s music and I'm a 40 year old mom so that type of music brought me some childhood memories right there!! Also customer service.... at it's finest I saw they didn't have what I wanted on the isle and some nice guy I think his name was Brandon or brian heard me and told me he'll check in the back if they had it and THEY DID! I didn't even asked him to check! Cashier aldin was nice and polite and even offered me some service out cause I had a full cart, store is always clean, COVID rules at its finest. So completely disappointed. Was having a party of 30 people. Always pre-order meat from Raley's in the past. Called a week before the party, girl says to call the day you want to pick up and they will have it ready to be picked up. Called at 8:00 in the morning for meat to be picked up at noon. Was told it would be ready. Got to the store at 12:20. The guy in the meat department says oh yeah I got your order, my boss said not to prepare it til you got here. Planning a big party is stressful enough ... this is one thing that should have gone smoothly. Ordered from Safeway, was ready when I arrived. read more

No complaints. We were in a pinch because the gas stations local to our hotel had just closed and we were in need of beer. They had a decent selection of beers we can not access in CT so we jumped on them. The had a huge selection of alcohol with crazy low prices, like unheard of compared to CT. Good grocery store. Were there changes made to the deli recently?? On lazy nights, I would buy an 8 piece fried chicken for the family and it was delicious! Fried perfectly and seasoned better than KFC. I went yesterday and the "customer service" was rude and irritated - like I was bothering her with my purchase. I wanted 8 pieces of fried chicken. "Well I don't have it." I asked if I could just take what they had fried and the rest I would take roasted. The sign says, 2 wings, 2 thighs, 2 drumsticks and 2 breasts (maybe not in that order but you get 2 of everything). I got the thighs, drumsticks, roasted breasts, 1 wing and 1 piece of chicken I couldn't recognize. I can get past that (even tho my husband enjoys wings the most). What I can't get past is the taste. The roasted chicken was so salty, to the point where I couldn't eat it and the fried chicken was so oily/greasy - it had no flavor, other than the stale taste of the frying oil it was drenched in. I'd have to say this was the worst chicken I've ever tasted in my life. I grew up in Windsor so shopping at this store is something I did growing up. I moved back a few years ago and have been pleasantly surprised by the rest of the store being somewhat updated. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially the butcher. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time I encountered the rude deli lady. Deli section needs an overhaul, staff included. (As a side note: if she's training new staff, she's terrible at it.) read more

Best part about this store is the red box DVD machine, if you can get past the dank and musty smell when you walk in. The store is dirty, and we have gotten expired food here before. The manager is a little creepy, but the employees are always very friendly. That's all this place has going for it. read more

Sooooo disappointed in your store I called around thanksgiving and traveled from Marin up here looking for the GOOD cheese fondue I was told on the phone you had it after driving up here and not looking anywhere along the way even you manager cant find it. OK now the holidays are here and you are trying to pass off so Aloutte Brie stuff that tastes like white cheese whiz. So I;m driving to your Rohnert Park store my facebook friends have it there and their manager does too. Windsor manager FAIL!!!!! read more

This is where I shop once a week. They seem a bit more expensive then Safeway or Luckys, but they have better variety. Its nice if you need a speciality ingredient for a recipe or a more high-end brand of a product. Their new rewards program is nice though, it seems to be helping the grocery budget a bit. read more

I have lived in Windsor for 27 years and have always shopped at Raley's. I used to be on quite friendly terms with most of the ee's of the store. Now I don't know any of them. Every time I come in there are checkers that look to be about 16 and do not have a clue how to offer good customer service. They are not well trained and don't seem to be very knowledgeable of how a grocery store works. Yesterday was the kicker and I had to write something. The checker and the bagger were clueless. I spent over $200 in the store and had to babysit what they were doing. I have spent less and less time shopping in this store because it is just not the same. I know things change, but treating customers with kindness and respect should never change. Worried about your longevity at this location unless some changes are made. My money will be spent elsewhere, Oliver's is more expensive but it is night and day to Raley's. A very pleasant experience. Phyllis read more

Very poor service. Usually only one register open and it takes several calls to get another one open. Someone has to come from the back. Checkers are not respectful, rarely say good bye or thank you. This store has gone down a lot in the last few years. Safeway is always busy and crowded but all their registers are open and efficient. I have finally given up on this Raleys. It seems to be there is no manager or anyone in charge. Can't they see how poor it is? The Raleys in Santa Rosa is top notch. Probably they have a better manager. read more

Most of the employees in the deli are very slow, ignore customers and aren't very friendly. There are only two employees that I've noticed move fast and are quick to assist customers. They're both in their twenties and skinny and short. I've only seen them in the mornings, however. If I see anybody else working in the deli I almost always go to Subway or more recently, Togo's. I'd rather not spend a half hour of my time waiting for assistance while an employee yells "CUSTOMER SERVICE" instead of walking their butts over to the sandwich area and assisting me!! Also, avoid the huge Myra lady. She's rude and never makes good sandwiches. read more

I grew up in Windsor. This was the store we always shopped at when I was a child.. I moved away and now that I'm older with two kids I've returned to the area. What the heck happened??? Ok, over the past 5 years in Windsor I've tried to shop here but it never goes good. The checkers are ALL slow and some are rude. My husbands bank is in there so occasionally I have to go in. Breakfast Panini - Disgusting. I hadn't had time for breakfast, so, seduced by the tasty picture at the Raley's Deli, I asked for a Breakfast Panini Florentine. Big mistake. First, the counter person took my pre-made sandwich and removed the egg portion. She microwaved the egg for about 45 seconds. Then she put the sandwich back together and microwaved it again. Finally, she installed my poor sandwich in the panini press, after soaking it in some unidentified oil from a squeeze bottle. What I got was flattened, oil-soaked microwaved bread , not toasted, with marks from the panini press that were barely discernable. The egg was rubbery and the cheese had melted away. There were a few spinach leaves. The sandwich was inedible. I would have taken it back, but I was on the road, so I had two bites and tossed it. The counter person seemed to be following instructions, but if so, somebody needs to rethink the process. Why microwave bread that is going in the panini press? Uggh. And what's up with the oil saturation? That's just gross. Never Again! read more
