Visited Feb. 12th. See receipt. This location is centrally located off of Bridge Street and close to Chili's and In and Out Burger in Yuba City. BEST TIP: if you want to save money then sign up on their app! Then just type in your phone number at checkout for great discounts. I think this location also has digital coupons as other Raleys do. I stock up on their coffee such as Peets and Starbucks ( pods) where sometimes I can get it half off! They have a nice selection of salads in their deli section with many healthy choices. They do not have much of a selection of steaks so I passed on that option. They also have a bakery. Although their fresh veggie selection wasn't as big as other Raleys it still had what I needed and everything looked fresh. There is also a pharmacy in the back of the store along with an extensive wine selection. It's a good store that carries many items a smaller store will not carry. Plenty of parking with other stores in the complex. Definitely be back when in the area! read more

Riley's customer service is very bad, I bought almost like $200 dollars, but after seeing their attitude I stopped shopping It was like someone was forcing them to do something ZERO STAR The one in Yuba City If there is a mistake made by a customer, the store manager should tell him. I went to Raleys in Yuba City on a Saturday morning. I was shopping for flowers for my wife. They had a large selection. I found a couple of orchids. The price was about $20 each. My wife loved them. I would recommend this grocery store to friends and family. Excellent. read more

I am so mad and frustrated at Raley's. They are a total bait-and-switch. Went to Raley's for tomatoes only. The type I chose were advertised at $3.99lb. Expensive, but ok. I only needed a few. I got to the self checkout and they kept ringing up at $4.99lb. I notified the cashier and he said I needed to input my rewards number. So I did and the price remained $4.99lb. I called the cashier back again. His response was, "then they're $4.99 a pound". I told him they were marked and advertised at $3.99lb. He wasn't exactly rude or kind, but snuffed "their $4.99lb a pound and that is that". I told him they can keep the tomatoes and left. He couldn't have cared less. What a bait-and-switch! Makes me wonder how much I've been ripped off when I make bulk purchases over the years? This is the third BAD experience at this store and I should have known to go elsewhere. I'll never be back. The prices here are insane, and when I go it's for the pharmacy and some produce, and I buy most of my stuff elsewhere. Today (July 25, 2025) the pharmacy staff was great, then I stopped at the bakery counter on my way out, and despite there being three women working there, they all failed to acknowledge me in any way, and after 2-3 minutes I gave up and left. Way to make a sale and boost profits, Raleys. Well done. Perhaps if the staff actually bothered to sell things to customers you wouldn't have to charge about 25%-30% more than other stores for the stuff customers do buy. Also, I noticed a 24-pack of sodas is now nearly $20. Before Covid it was $5 for the same thing. I remember, because I haven't bought one since during Covid it jumped to nearly $9. We have other choices. Perhaps the manager could make an effort to speak to the bakery staff, and also point out there were several bakery items that didn't have prices on them, while others did. Where I live it's a 25 mile to Yuba City and a 35 minute to Woodland, but I'm just about ready to take all my business to Woodland and my grocery shopping to Nugget. There is one manager that seems to always be a negative experience when shopping at Raley's. A female of Indian decent. I try to avoid her if possible. She likes to play nice because it's her job, but often I get eye rolls, bad body language or sarcastic mumbling as she walks away. I talk to other friends who shop at this Raley's and they get the same attitude from her. It needs to stop. read more

Pretty disappointed by my visit. I've been going to Raley's since I was a little girl and I've always loved it. They are still busy doing renovations but so far it's for the worse not the better. The aisles are tiny. I'm a petite women and they're the length of my arms outstretched. The took a bunch of the close parking lots and turned them into ecart spaces for folks who order groceries. They also removed about half the check stands and replaced them with self-checkouts. I didn't see any of the regular employees and the ones I dealt with on my visit were rude and short with me. Groceries are hard to find and there's really no rhyme or reason to where things are. I really feel like Raley's has lost its "heart" and I'm very bummed. read more

I was so excited when they started their remodel, then they shrank the store. The isles are narrow enough on their own but then they put display boxes of items in the isle so only one cart can fit by. If someone is looking at a shelf near one of the many boxes you either have to interrupt their search or wait. That made shopping a bit annoying. Having only the self checkouts open makes it really annoying. The something extra 'coupons' are super annoying. I'm already a member, you are tracking all my purchases and yet if I see an item on the shelf I have to stand there and look through the poorly arranged items in the app to find the 'coupon' to get the special prices? read more

This keeps happening to me there, i go to checkout and same heavy lady checker is standing at self checkout when i ask witch register is open she just ignors me. I have to use self check out. I ask her if they no long have registers and she said yes, that i have to ask which is what i do. Even the kids bagging always apologise for her. I go there and pay a higher fee for service if i have to do everthing i have started to use Winco. instead. Much cheaper. How many ways can I say 'overpriced and overrated?' Let's find out. My realtor gave me a gift card after I bought a house and I figured, why not try Raley's? Good lord, that was a dumb decision. The selection wasn't completely terrible. That said, it didn't even tick the box of 'good' either, as there were items I usually get that I could not find.The organization wasn't great either. I'd appreciate the idea of separating vegan milk products from the rest of they were easier to find. (I'm not vegan, but I am allergic to cow milk.) But the selection was lacking even compared to, say, Safeway. The prices were even worse. I can buy TWICE the amount of food from Safeway for the same price I paid at Raley's. And that's AFTER the gift card discount. I'll be avoiding this place. read more

We Patiently waited for 31 minutes while watching others come and go. I finally asked one of the employees, "how much longer??". She had stated that she will go grab my order. First, let me say that I'm a Disabled Veteran, small business owner in Yuba City, and have a full time Government job on top of all that. I've only had one speeding ticket my whole life and I'm 48. I'm fourth generation from Yuba City. My great grand parents and my grandfather were famers here before WWII and were taken to Tule Lake Camp during the war for being Japanese. A family member is retired from local law enforcement. Let me go on with my story. We usually do not have any issues with Raley's. My wife and I will go there to shop and look at their bakery. But on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, I decided to go during my lunch break. I only had an hour and was running around gathering items for my wife's surprise birthday party. I decided to stop at Raley's to look at their cakes. I was also looking to see if they had cupcakes. The cupcakes were going to be for the kids I teach to celebrate my wife's birthday during class. The cake was going to be for later at home with the family. I wanted to go to Sam's because I know Sam's had cupcakes, but I didn't think I was going to have enough time. Anyways, I get to Raley's and go to their bakery area to look at the selection of premade cakes. I see they have a few types and they also had some premade cupcakes. So, I'm standing there trying to figure out what I need, when I look over to see an older lady staring at me. I didn't think anything of it at that time. I decided to go to the aisle with the candles to, at least, get that even though I may not get a cake. As I'm walking, I can see the older lady following me. This time with a worker. I go down the candle aisle and there's a third worker stocking. She didn't even really notice me. She did acknowledge the other two female workers because she said, "hello ladies". While I was there trying to decide how to make '49' with only the number '9' candle available, I see the older lady and worker standing next to me. That's when I realized they must have thought I was going to shoplift. I decided to get regular candles, and the '9' candle. I can put down four regular candles for the '4' and use the '9' to make 49 (my wife's age). I look at the time and decide to get the cake here. I'm just going to hope that the cake is big enough for everyone and that I can get enough cupcakes for the kids at class that night. As I go back, I can see the same two women following me back to the bakery. I'm standing there trying to decide on the chocolate cake with white whipped cream frosting, or the white cake with the whipped cream frosting with sprinkles. I decided to call Sam's to see if they had any cupcakes. No answer. So I picked the chocolate cake, and start to go over to the cupcakes since Sam's didn't answer. I look over and the older lady is just standing there looking at me again. About 5 feet away. I guess she was posted there to let me know, that she knows, that I know she's watching me? The older lady looks at me and says, "that looks good". I couldn't tell if she was talking about the cake or me. I eventually figured she was talking about the cake. I look at her and say, "I hope so.". That was also her way to let me know, that she knows, she saw me grab the cake? I then go over to grab the cupcakes and walk to the register. I can see that she was following me to make sure that I went to the register. Usually that wouldn't bother me. I've had this type of treatment before. Brown guy in a store? Yeah. But for a cake and cupcakes? I've walked into Tiffany and Co before and the people there didn't treat me like I was going to rob the place. I'm guessing this lady was the manager on duty. Since she took it upon herself to act as judge, jury, and executioner. And since she had nothing else to do but follow me around. If I knew she was going to do that, I would have had her carry my stuff to the register. Then to my $60k+ truck outside. I hope she sees this and knows she didn't deter shoplifting. I'm sure after I left, she went back to her coworkers and congratulated herself on preventing a loss of a cake. Which I had no plans to shoplift. Nor have I ever done such a thing. I own a business. I detest shoplifters and any other crime. Raley's lost any credibility with me and my family. It's 2023. Not 1950. I know Raley's employees have to take some sort of discrimination training towards others due to skin color, sex, or nationality. I have to every year at my full time job. And that's mandatory training. Guess I'm getting my baked goods at Sam's Club. My small business pays for my membership there. read more

Raleys Yuba City is OUR Store. Recently, we purchased a meatloaf from the deli. And when preparing dinner that evening, we cut into the loaf so that we can heat up. We were shocked to see that it was raw inside. I immediately called the store. Spoke to Ramin who was very understanding and helpful. She told me to just come back into the store and they would make it right. And right they did. The next afternoon I stopped by and spoke to Tom. He was also very friendly and helpful. We were refunded completely what we had paid. Raleys customer service really delivered and I am happy to say that Raleys Yuba City is OUR store! read more

I usually go to Rayle's for lunch / dinner few times a week, most the time it is bay area or downtown Sacramento locations. As a contractor working for myself I'm busy as we all are, I stopped in for something to eat @ the deli, stood there for a bit (along with another lady) and we weren't acknowledged so I left, got my other items and returned. Only one consumer at the deli & 3 behind the counter now. (Understandably they each have other tasks other than helping the customers but a good ratio.) So after that gentleman was helped and walked off I stood alone. The employees were working, talking whatever but another guy is now standing there and they finish the conversation put in there ear pieces and turned their backs without again any status. I'm now thinking is it closed, Do I have to order online, there's no signage. I end up asking one of the lady's if I'm able to be helped & this point, and with back turned, earpieces and ignoring me I said it decent enough to hear but still normal voice. Employee responded with "I'm making sandwiches!" And a scowl; I'm in construction so not going to offend me but really was a WTF is this lady thinking moment. I responded w/ alittle more vigor (Still in a better tone than her response.) "that I didn't want to be helped, I just want to be told when WE CAN BE helped". I personally was on a timeline. Atleast me and the other guy had a good laugh in the parking lot. Got my mashed potatoes comp'd after, but at that point make the customer pay it's probably the last bit of money your going to get from them. I didn't want free food just friendlier service for the slight higher prices. Anyone can put on headphones, shop @ WinCo and not be treated like a jerk. The employees were probably going to get to me & some point but I'd spent my whole break trying to get some warm food to eat. There so much I could say about this place. I'll start off with their clean environment, everything is clean and orderly which is nice. They don't move things around so you already know where everything is . The store has a warm welcoming vibe. My husband son and I are known by name. Obviously it's more expensive than let's say winco or Walmart. But the produce and fresh food is great quality compared to some basic grocery store. So in my opinion worth it. This store lately has gone down I've only been here 2 years and their inventory is so limited . They have some clerks that work their who aren't friendly , and actually rude .. Tammy & a young girl with brown long hair but I didn't see her name . The aisle I went to today had a checker & bagger who I guess not having a good day .. they weren't friendly , killed them to say Hi and threw my groceries basically back into the cart bc I brought my own bags . And that's another thing if you can't use their counter , can't touch your groceries , can't go behind to get them to bag then what's the use in bringing them ? Ordered a cake from their bakery and I asked for whipped cream frosting. Ordered a week ago so they would have plenty of time to make . They call me a couple hours before it is to be ready and informed me that they ran out of whipped cream. Whipped cream literally takes like 10 minutes tops to make and it not like they don't have any at the grocery store. Asked if butter cream would be ok . My wife got the call , so she said ok . , it's probably a good thing I didn't get the call . INCOMPLETE GROCERY ORDERS being delivered from the Yuba City location! We recently had to resort to getting our groceries delivered due to car troubles and we're not happy! The one star review is for the last 2 grocery orders we placed that were not complete orders! We had ordered a quantity of 6 of a certain item on both of our previous orders and we only received 3 of them each time! We checked the website and the item we were shorted was in fact in stock and available for delivery, but when the order arrived we were short 3 of those items both times! Whoever is filling the InstaCart orders for delivery needs to check the quantity requested for an item BEFORE CHECKING OUT!! Any other time we would give this location a 5 star outstanding review, but until we start getting EVERYTHING WE ARE PAYING FOR my one star rating stays at one star! read more
