Whenever I find myself needing to send flowers I often head over to the Fiddly Fig's website to…read moreplace an order. They always do a nice job, the flowers are fresh and look as advertised, and the best part? This is a local business. I will say they aren't cheap, but with the end result being consistently good I do think it's worth it and they deliver pretty much anywhere in the metro which I think is really great considering that we have such a big area. I've delivered as far north as the Northland and as far south as 172nd street and they've been on time and done a nice job. I'll be back!

They recommended a great gift/cheese shop called Better Cheddar in KC that does gift baskets. I told them what I was thinking and they handled the ordering with the store. They even coordinated with my father when he would be at the house to drop off the gift basket. Everything was squared away before I took off on my next flight.
