I recently bought two pair of Merrell Hydros in two different sizes, planning on returning one after comparing the fits, only because they stated "free returns." When I completed the return process, the statement reflected a $5 FEDEX "drop-off fee". What? I contacted Merrell and a snippy customer service woman stated that it was FEDEX's charge, not theirs. What? After I asked her to explain how that is "free", she huffed and agreed to credit me $5... "one time only." Wow, won't be shopping at Merrell ever agin.

Prices on my last few visits have been on par with a good sale at a non outlet store. For that, I am taking away a star. They have the selection, but no longer have the edge on pricing. For me, this makes them more of a check them out while I am at the outlet mall rather than a destination store.
