Italian ice galore! Ralph's is a refreshing welcome to Forest Hills, Queens, NYC's shopping district Austin Street with company history origins in Staten Island, NYC. I remember I would frequently patronized Ralph's at 497 Newbridge Road, East Meadow, NY with my then boyfriend and we would take home large cups including several pints for his father. Indeed, this Ralph's is priced higher than competitor Rita's. (I have never visited The Lemon Ice King of Corona due to the inaccessibility location via mass transit. Thus, I cannot make a juxtaposition for comment). I am willing to pay for high quality of ingredients, good taste and abundance for quantity. Ralph's is my ultimate brand of Italian ice to seek and intake - Uncle Louie G comes second and nothing else. Ralph's always have a extensive menu of flavors for classic Italian Ice (water ice), cream ice (sherbet), ice cream, smoothies, and "Tornados" (blended treats). Italian ice made correctly without any pieces of ice and water at the bottom of the cup for the flavor to be diluted. I am old school traditional conservative and choose my default favorite type: classic Italian water ice. I ventured here on a cold day during the Christmas 2025 season rather than during a hot stifling summer day. At day's end it was a sweet phlegmatic ephemeral moment. Customer service is very attentive, efficient, courteous and polite as I was the only patron in the house. I've learned that (I think) most Ralph's locations will be closed during the winter months and re-open March 2026 since Italian ice and ice cream is a seasonal operating business. Oh! I always enjoy Italian ice year round and wished it were open year round which their website claims "fat free & cholesterol free." Space is large for patrons to order, wait and order pick-up for this location. I like the large wall-to-wall decal mural which is specific to the Forest Hills locale as it was my one-time former residence. There is one in-door bench which I sat to thoroughly intake to enjoy my sweet treat. I did receive a sales receipt. I would gladly visit again for watermelon, strawberry, mango, orange and cherry flavors. Small peach Italian ice, $6.19 The scooping for this small cup is large and very abundant. The flavor taste like summer's peach flair which contains actual pieces of peach fresh fruit. It does not contain dried processed fruit. Wow! It is a justifying sweet ending for a long haul arduous bitter day. Ralph's accurate correctively produces Italian ice as a wondrous delight which is thoroughly satisfying to the taste.

This ralphs is fairly new. This place is small but mighty and the reason it is mighty is because of the staff, those girls were handling orders with ease. The line was extremely long due to some band from Switzerland or Australia I can't remember. Although the line was long the staff was quickly helping customers so we weren't on the line for a long time. Ralphs is my go to Ice cream spot it always hits.

So excited to see this place finally open after months of being under construction!! Their menu is similar to other locations, with water ices, creme ices, soft serves and so forth. I got the coconut creme ice and it was delish. The kid's size is very generous and is more of a "small" to me. You can ask to try different flavors and they are not stingy on samples. Staff was very efficient and I was in and out pretty quick. Note there is not a lot of sitting room inside, it is a tiny store and most people take their order to go.

I came here this afternoon and the young ladies behind the counter were sweet and helpful. They were definitely managing the rush very well. Theres a bunch of options to choose from, there is really something for everyone here. I saw they even offer samples if you aren't sure what to pick. We both had mint chocolate chip shakes, and we really loved them. We will definitely be back to try all the interesting water ice flavors, like rainbow cookie!

Best Ice Shop Ever !!! I love Ralphs and so happy it's opened in my neighborhood :). I love how many options they have. The prices are a bit high but i think worth it considering the variety and quality. This was my first time trying the ice cream which wont be my last! So if you're not craving an ice and want ice cream don't hesitate to get it from here! I also like they give young kids a chance at a job. Super friendly staff and even if theres a line you don't wait long.

Small ice cream shop right on Austin st. Prices are a bit higher than any other place, but there's some decent varieties.

Loved it! Better than Rita's not as sweet and has more of a natural flavor. The custard was pretty good too! Nice addition to the neighborhood!

Twice I have requested a flavor labeled over a full container only to be told that they do not have that flavor. The second time, the person (minimally) helping me would not even tell me what the correct flavor was she just demanded "Do you want it?" It is often hard to discern when the person who is supposed to be helping me is talking to me versus talking to a co-worker. It is hard to imagine anyone making a purchase there and coming away with the impression that they are a valued customer. It is very sad because with some minimal interpersonal skills, I do not see any reason this location could not be very successful. However, it is much easier to push customers away than it is to bring them back.

Since we were in Forest Hills, Queens, and I had never been here, we chose to go to Eddie's. This place is really good, with an extensive menu of desserts ranging from soda floats to banana splits and many other little treats. A sweet lover's paradise. Personally, when it comes to ice cream or sweets, I tend to keep it simple. Give me a good vanilla ice cream scoop and I am a happy person. Give me a great ice cream scoop and I am even happier. Let's just say I left this place very satisfied. I had my basic yet delicious ice cream scoops. Yum. I am currently following a strict diet regimen for one more month, but after that, I will definitely come back for some of their tasty ice cream. My son, wife, and friends were also enjoying their sweets. This is a great place. They have seats, but it gets really busy and there is usually a bit of a wait. Yet that is not a bad thing. It shows how popular the place is. If you are looking for sweets, come check this place out.

This Sunday only Wafel and Dinges truck is just way to dangerous. They should limit you to one of these because it's just way to hard choose just one option. Perhaps the Sunday only option is their way to protect us from those of us with no self control. If that is the case, good thinking W & D! As far as the Wafels, is there anything that Spekuloos (my current sweet addiction) or Nutella is spread on that doesn't taste awesome? Is there anything that fresh cut strawberries and whipped cream can't elevate? Who doesn't like a freshly made, still warm, slightly crunchy Belgium Wafel? You'll want to enjoy promptly right after you get your order it is most delicious the second you get it. Don't wait! The truck has all required utensils right there for you and the box is built in a way that makes it conducive to eat by sliding the Wafel to the edge to bite. However you're on your own to find seating to enjoy which can be somewhat of a challenge in some neighborhoods, where this truck parks including this one. Pro tip: head to the nearby MacDonald park nearby. One final thought, for those diabetics out there, just keep walking, there isn't anything here for you to eat,....

Strawberry Nutella $10.83 Sliced fresh strawberries and Nutella are my favorite combination. It is the only crepe that I have a desideratum as nothing else on the menu entice my interest. It was certainly delicious and fresh served on a cardboard holder in a small custom metal stanchion as I decided to dine-in. I would never made it home in one cohesive piece of my long-haul MTA NYC Transit bus ride to southwestern Queens, NYC. The crepe was also messy with the Nutella spewing out when biting and holding the crepe. The Nutella was very delicious and chocolatey. It was prepared in a open-kitchen.
