Servers and other personnel were pleasant and helpful. Ambiance was typical of a sports bar...an OSU game was on which is why we tried them out. The food was AWFUL! The appetizer we ordered was NOT appetizing. The wings we ordered were ok but nothing to write home about. No complementary dip....i.e. blue cheese or ranch. What's with that? I was not impressed... the service was really slow and the food was ok. I had their Reuben (which they call the "best in town") and was not all that great (good thing it is a small town) their home made chips were unique but could use some seasoning or something. Wifie had their hot Italian sub which was good but they cook the meat but the bun is cold kind of weird. The sweet potato fries were the best part of the meal. It was not a horrible experience but it could have been so much better if the waitress was a little more attentive. There are plenty of other choice on that exit to be that far off on service. read more

My family went to Ralphie's last night for dinner around 6pm. I ordered the beef nachos. Before we really started digging into our meal, the manager stopped by and asked how everything was. What a pleasant surprise since so few restaurants do this anymore! At the time, things were great with our meal but it quickly went south. As I began eating my nachos I noticed almost every chip had raw hamburger meat. Since our waitress never came back to check on us, we asked another waitress to get her. When she came back, I showed her the raw hamburger meat. Without an apology she asked if she could bring me something else. The manager never stopped by to apologize for the raw hamburger meat either. The lack of concern is very disappointing. read more

Good: many beer options Bad: messed up our appetizer, never checked in to see how we were doing. When our food came we were able to tell them the app. was wrong. Therefore app. Came after meal. My meal was a wrap with bbq and it never came with bbq. The manager came back with the correct app. When I told her they didn't put sauce on my wrap. The manager again came back with the bbq sauce and when the waiter came back, it was to give us our bill. The bill came with the bbq sauce charged as an extra and the correct app. Came as more expensive. The only time the waiter was quick to come back is when he took the bill. Waiters and hostess stand in a corner and watch the game while the waitress in training and the manager went around checking on tables. I'm an out of towner and I was very impressed by the food, selection and service. I ordered the salmon salad which was a very healthy alternative to why the rest of my party ordered. My only issue was that I ordered no cheese and it came with cheese so they took it back, took of the cheese, rearranged the plate and brought it back with some of the salmon missing. Kinda weird but I get it. No sense making a new plate; the chef just needed to be a little more attentive to the order because there weren't any other tables ordering at the time we came in. The rest of the orders that my friends got were all delicious and I really liked my salad. I had some of the sweet potato fries and fried pickles. The fries were super soft on the inside and both the fries and pickles were really thick. Overall, if I'm ever in the area again, I would definitely stop in. If you're a local, you're probably a regular so my recommendation goes without saying. read more

We were heading back to Michigan from Florida and wanted to try something we don't have at home. We saw the Ralphies sign and decided to give it a try. The waitress was very nice and was decent on getting refills. We wnjoyed the food. I tried their steak with salad and green beans. The steak wasn't done properly, so I had to send it back. It did have a lot of flavor. My wife tried their peanut butter and bacon burger, which was pretty amazing. She was nice enough to give me a try and the peanut butter and bacon tasted really good together. Very nice location, convenient for people traveling on I-75. read more

My husbands fire company came to the area from Pittsburgh, PA for a training, and we came here the first night since it was very close to our hotel, and we were all traveling for hours. The staff were great with all of us, and very patient as we had about 16 people. The food was great, no one was dissatisfied with their meals. Since the experience was great, we asked if they would reserve seating for about 30. Originally, the waitress said they don't take reservations, but apparently spoke with the manager. They reserved the back patio for us, and were again great to work with. After a whole day or intense training, they handled everyone well and took care of us. The only reason for the 4 stars is as the night went on, anyone that had any alcoholic beverages had to wait a bit in between them for refills. Other than that, it was great! read more

Sat at bar with my wiife, was asked immediately what we wanted to drink. We took cople minutes then ordered 2 Budweiser and 2 shots of JD, received them, bartender was more interested into talking to regulars then attending to us, food was good though. Drunk guy at bar at 2:30pm, being very vulgar, took over an hr b4 they made him leave. If that part never happened we would've had a better time. This is my favorite late night eatery! My friends and I from UF come after nine for half off apps! You can't beat it!!! Nachos are my favorite! Some food is not freshly prepared and came out of the freezer but I love it anyway. It's fun to come out, be rowdy with a beer and eat my weeks worth of calories! Service is horrible. The server worried about serving all the guys and paid no attention to our table. Took 12 min to get a single drink. She forgot to reorder my drink 30 minutes after that one. Beer is Flat. Food is good... which I was shocked BUT because of the dishonest server it ruined it. I can handle late drinks and food being busy and all BUT... I am appalled at the fact they have dishonest servers and obviously management. Someone at my table turned my credit slip in with theirs by accident. So I Left cash on the table. My slip was NOT even signed yet. So the server got both my slips. I looked at my statement very next day (today) and she placed a TIP on the card. I will be calling my card company along with management to notify them. I will never return. So sad that people think they can get away with theft. I realize I should of went back for my slip or made sure it was signed and clearly written I left cash. But a BUSINESS should not allow this stuff to be happening. read more

The following message was emailed to Ralphie's Family Sports Eatery Findlay on March 8th after I left a review regarding my experience. I have yet to receive a response or apology from this company. My original review did not include all of the details of my visit because I wanted to save this company from the embarrassment and possible loss of business. I have been left with no choice but to make my complaint public. Hi my name is Latara Turks. I'm following up regarding my visit to Ralphies at 730 Trenton ave in Findlay Oh. I grew up going to Ralphies in Lima Oh with my family almost every week and was sad when the location closed. On Saturday March 6th we decided that it would be worth the 45 minute drive to Ralphies in Findlay for a bit of nostalgia. I traveled with my 3 sisters and 4 children. When we arrived around 8:00pm it was a full house, but it seemed to clear out pretty quickly and we were delighted to be seated within 30 minutes. Shortly after placing our drink orders is when things started to go down hill. Our waitress was requested by a group, of what appeared to be family or friends, and we were forgotten about. It took nearly 20 minutes for her to return with our drinks and to take our food order. As someone that has been a Catering Manager in a restaurant, I understand that sometimes things can get hectic and we did not complain about this during the visit. We received our appetizers and kids meals within 30 minutes, but it took an additional 30 minutes for the chicken that we ordered to arrive. This would not have been an issue, except for the fact that half of it was cold upon arrival. One of my sisters ordered mild wings in house and I ordered mild wings to be packaged to go, there was a huge difference in the quality and appearance of identical orders. Also, my youngest sister was disturbed by a large, deformed, "gross looking" (her words) drum stick piece of chicken that she was served (I've attached a photo of it). When I addressed our concerns regarding the quality of our food our waitress became visibly upset. She began to raise her voice and dramatically waive her hands as she spoke with me. I am a very understanding, patient, and non confrontational person. Her attitude towards me took me by surprise. As an attempt to difuse the situation I requested to speak with a manager. From my table I witnessed our waitress going back and forth with the manager on duty Cody and other employees for several minutes before Cody decided to address our table. When I explained the food situation and my encounter with the waitress his expression and demeanor was very non chalant and dismissive. I expressed that I did not want to interact with our previous waitress for the rest of our time there to avoid things going from bad to worse.I also requested information for the General Manager so that I could follow up with a formal complaint the next business day. My entire family, including the children had become very uncomfortable and I requested our check and to go containers for the remainder of our food. I was very disturbed when the same waitress was sent back to our table. I explained that I felt disrespected by her during our previous encounter and to avoid further confrontation we requested that Cody finish with us. After several minutes Cody stormed over to our table, slammed down a piece of receipt with hand written information for the General Manager, began to snatch our food away, and yelled that he's comping the entire meal. He demanded that we leave immediately and never come back. I was completely embarrassed by his behavior! My 7 year old son who was sitting next to me is traumatized, he literally cried in the car and questioned why Cody hated us. His aggression and anger made me fearful of what may happen next. I felt helpless in this situation, I would never intentionally expose my children and family to this type the type of violent, aggressive, intimidating behavior. I am not sure what triggered Cody, someone you consider a leader, face, and voice for your establishment to treat me and my family with such disrespect and unprofessionalism, but it was not taken lightly.To protect my family's safety and well being we complied with his demands. This horrible memory has replaced the years of good experiences that I had at the Lima location. Racial bias, violence, and discrimination is not rare in this country, but I never imagined it happening to me and especially for my child, niece, and nephews to witness it. The only difference between me, your staff, and the other patrons who clearly did not receive the same treatment as me and my family is the color of our skin. I truly hope that the message was not for black people to leave and never come back, because that is how it was received. I hope that you will address this matter and provide your staff and leadership team with better training to prevent this from happening to another family. read more

So unless you want a lesson in patience do not bother stopping here. We we stopped for lunch, there were 5 tables seated only so it was not busy. After 8-10 minutes our drink order was taken. We waited to order food and waited and waited. When the server came to take our order after we watched two tables seated after us receive their food, we ask how long will the food take. The service here was really poor. First, the waitress, while very pleasant, was not very attentive. It was like pulling teeth to get drink refills. Secondly our order was wrong. I ordered the ribeye steak rare to med. rare and it came out a solid medium I sent it back and I waited 30 minutes....still no steak. I cancelled my order...which was suppose to come with salad and a side. They were generous and didn't charge for the salad because it was part of the meal, but still charged me for the waffle fries(which are also part of the meal). They also forgot to bring my salad, and when I asked for it they brought it to me, with no dressing. When I said something to the waitress she replied, "the kitchen staff has been garbage lately." When the waitress talked to the manager, the manager didn't even have the courtesy to to come and apologize. Stopped here on our way to Detroit, since I prefer eating at non-chain restaurants when traveling. The restaurant was clean and we were welcomed by staff upon entering. I try to consider the type of place I'm eating at stand review accordingly. This is sports bar food and was surprisingly good. The burgers were big, juicy and flavourful - as if they'd just come off a back yard grill...yummy! Portions were adequate for lunch and the price was fair. Our server, Jordan, was friendly, efficient and answers to our questions were prompt and knowledgeable. The music was kept at a reasonable level to allow for easy conversation. Husband and I stopped in to get lunch mid-July. Only one waitress. We waited forever to order. It took us over an hour for two wraps. The manager helped by taking 1 order of a lady who came in alone. The hostess and bartender did not assist at all. The kitchen staff kept coming out and standing in the door, looking into the dining room...waiting for orders.
