This Ralphs location looks old on the outside but it is super nice and clean in the inside. The store is much bigger when you step inside an it is very organized. I like Ralphs produce. Good quality. The grapes were huge and super sweet tonight so we grabbed two large bags on our way out with our groceries. They tasted like candy and I couldn't resist eating them while driving home. I know, they need to be washed carefully because grapes are very dirty.

I paid for 16ozs, and I didn't get it. How many thousands of others are also being ripped off?
John R.

I come here pretty often, and sm reasonably happy with this store. Yes it is understaffed, and bit run-down and chaotic, but that is nothing unusual. What does annoy me and gets me to post a complaint is getting ripped off, even a little when buying meat. If a package says it has 16 ozs, it should contain at least 26 ozs, every time. Not 15 ozs, or anything lower.

Target Gift Card which was purchased at Ralph's.
J C.

Ralph's sold a $50 gift card that was worthless and refuse to make it right! This is THEFT and FRAUD!!! I was given a gift card for my birthday, one that an elderly friend in her 80s purchased at Ralph's on Alicia Parkway. When we took the card to Target to use it the manager told us it had been tampered with and was no good, worthless. I wasn't concerned because I had a receipt for the purchase. So I tried to return the card to Ralph's and I was told by their manager that they will not refund or issue a new replacement card. It is my bad luck! I have shopped here for over 30 years, and my friend, she has shopped there over 40 years. I now plan on never shop at Ralph's again. I spend hundreds there every week for over 30 years. Do not buy gift cards from Ralph's. Also beware because they have shown they will not stand behind their sales.

The official website doesn't show this location has a pharmacy- not even the Ralph's app shows a pharmacy- To be clear, there IS a pharmacy at this location, right?

Yes, this location has a pharmacy. While I detest the grocery store, the pharmacy is my go-to pharmacy. They pay attention and do their very best to help with Rx supply and processing.

Zero consistency at the "build-your-own" sandwich deli…read more My first visit here was fantastic where the sandwich maker pulled out a note pad and made a list of my ingredients and produced a delicious East Coast Italian grinder in a very reasonable amount of time. Saturday early evening was the exact opposite. This gent had zero business being assigned to this department working solo and really should be in another department altogether. He had no idea what he was doing, and I had to guide him through the entire process. I recommended he make a list and he vetoed that. As a result, I showed him my list of ingredients, and he took it with his glove hand and set the dirty paper on the board where you lay the bread out to make a sandie. Woof! And then he could not read it anyway, so he had to ask me. He could not find anything and even when I pointed out obvious packaged meats in front of his face, he did not hear it or was not listening. I had to say the word and point it out three times. When he saw the list, he said he would have to use less of each because there were too many. There was no offer of "it will cost more" to do this so I just said fine, do what your able to do. In the end, he forgets the cheese entirely and when I ask for dressing (oil and vinegar) he drops a 1/4 of a tsp on the bread only and not on top of the other half. I said to myself "shine it" I'll fix this cold mess at home with a jar of giardiniera I recently bought in Chicago at a sandwich shop. I only noticed the absence of provolone cheese when I got home. What I did observe was three slices of meat, two strips of lettuce and the roll for their standard price. I am all for giving people opportunities or a shot whether young or old but if someone is not a fit for a particular department do not place them there even during the off-peak hours or to sub for someone's meal period. Another associate entered towards the end of this 25-minute fiasco. I am a rare breed in the "tech age" and very patient but this guy tested even my patience. He was not rude, but he was not very personable either. He seemed overwhelmed out of the gate, and it stayed that way throughout. In the end, I fixed it at home on my own dime with my own provolone cheese, red wine vinegar, EVO and giardiniera. I likely will not be back unless I come at the lunch hour and look for a different worker. Otherwise, I will try out Sprout's or go back to Ralph's who has done a nice job in the past. They offer the same services.

I picked up some CORNBREAD and PB COOKIES from the bakery. I have my own cornbread recipe I created…read morebut this was pretty legit cornbread. It is more Northern style (softer w/some sweetness). It got better w/some butter and honey. RATING = A. PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES had softer texture style. Got better with a nuke and glass of unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Not crazy sweet and you can taste the peanut butter nicely. RATING = A. I finally got their build-your-own DELI SANDWICH. I will go deeper next time but this time I got their ITALIAN SUB (grinder) and subbed out pepperoni (fake Italian) for mortadella (real Italian). I hit it with a bit more mayo, red wine vinegar and EVOO at home. It had a nice portion of meat and accessories. The bread of multi-grain is an odd one for an Italian grinder, but they are a healthy store so next time I will get a roll of some variety. The value is good for someone who does not eat large portions anymore. I have found my local sandwich spot...

2 stars for this particular store manager today and previous poor store management experiences…read more 5 stars for store cashiers & stockers. My photos basically tell the whole story. I saw a coupon to be used online only. I had actually been shopping in the store earlier during the day, so it was very convenient that I could use the coupon online and not have to return. Shopped online prior to store closure that evening. Granted it was later in the evening, but still, it was used prior to the closing of the store that day. I hit the shop button directly from the coupon so I expected the coupon to be applied. The way that the receipt is shown is not an itemized breakdown on my end. At least it wasn't at the point when I was checking. I was checking to make sure that the $20 off $125 coupon had been applied and I didn't see that. I just saw a three dollar discount, I don't know for what as it didn't specify. I also saw something that said price adjustments could only made be made by delivery. So before picking up, I started a chat to make sure that the coupon had been applied. You can see in the screenshots of the photos the conversation that took place. I took the screenshots because this is not the first time I've had poor customer service specifically from this store management. I have shopped at other Sprouts and this store seems to be the one that has this ongoing issue with the management not wanting to honor & fulfill ads or good customer service unless pressed. The task is always handed back to the customer by management at this store just to fulfill what is supposed to be rightfully honored. This is not even a favor, it's what should be happening for ALL customers, but mgmt doesn't want to be bothered. I've had to call corporate before to right previous wrongs and I'll have to do it again unfortunately. I do want to say that I've had REALLY GREAT EXPERIENCES WITH ALL THE CASHIERS AND CLERKS THAT WORK THROUGHOUT THE STORE. They are always very helpful and friendly as well. This has been ongoing in the many years that I've been shopping at this store. I wish I could remember the name of one specific clerk that I really look forward to seeing every time I come by because she is such a joy. My issue is with the management of this store. Sprouts needs to advertise a cutoff time and not just a cutoff date in their coupon. The management needs to fulfill what Sprouts ad says and not act like they're annoyed because they're doing you a big favor. See my screenshots to get the full picture of what happened. Sorry if they're out of order, I tried reordering them chronologically several times and the Yelp app seems to be mixing the order of the photos. FYI, on a side note, I'm constantly finding cold / frozen items left on dry food / non refrigerated shelves throughout the store. I always pick them up and return them to store employees. They've commented to me that this happens literally everyday. I personally see this happen very often, sometimes multiple times back to back in a month. It baffles me why a customer ( I'm assuming ) cannot return the item where they found it so it doesn't spoil. At least make an effort of putting said item in ANY cold/ frozen area or return to a store employee, rather than leaving it out to thaw and warm up and make a mess. That being said, I would think management would make more of an effort to walk the store once an hour or have their employees walk the aisles to pick up random cold/frozen strays left behind. I hope they're not putting these items that have been left out for who knows how long back for sale unless they can be sure they've not been left out long.
