So disappointed in this store. The last 2 times I've been here, the lines were ridiculously long. Today I wanted to order a birthday cake, but there was no one at the bakery. Asked another employee to call someone for help, but was told the bakery employee was on lunch break and I could just order it online. Tried to order it online when I got home, but the cake I wanted was not offered online, even though it was at the store (but wrong flavor than I needed). I'll be shopping elsewhere. read more

They won't enforce masks. Spoke with cashier since the lady ahead of me walked around the store with a mask in her wrist. The cashier informed me that she doesn't ask people to wear masks, that's it, no further statement or reference to talk to manager. I approached the manager on duty who was managing the self service registers. She informed me that she would "love to enforce the mask policy", however higher up management from corporate managers have clearly told them not to enforce masks since they don't want to lose any sales....seriously does it matter that they will lose the business from customers that do wear masks and don't want to shop at super spreader stores. read more

Ralph's in Villa Park went through as other stores a revamping on what they carry. Downsized brands to what moves off shelves. Today I wanted contact solution. I went through entire store non to be found. More disturbing was there was no one on any aisle to ask help. When I went to the front the one man who met my eyes avoided me by shifting from front to back. Obviously not able to assist as he was on self serve aisle. However, at the least acknowledge and try to give me a pointer for help. I feel as if this Ralph's is a quick mart not a supermarket. Maybe that was the intent to save money. read more

I shop here all the time. Great selection, produce and meat are always fresh. Love the deli dept too. The staff are super friendly, except for the lady that works in the floral dept. I've had several interactions with her and she is always so rude. She has messed up my order one too many times ( did it again this weekend) and I'm choosing to take my floral business elsewhere. Too bad because the selection is great. I've called the store several times to complain to the manager but either I am placed on hold and no one ever takes the call, or the phone rings and rings without any one picking up. I'd rather pay a bit more and get better customer service next door at the Flowery. Ralphs manager(s)- someone needs to have a talk with this employee. Beware of this Ralphs! The scanners overcharged us for 2 items of 2 items that we bought! (they were on sale and didn't ring up the sale prices) We didn't realize till we left the store and unfortuately live too far away or we would have gone back to get our refund. Really annoyed! read more

1/100 I have been shopping in the store for a while and have not had bad experience even once. This store has a small town feel. It is so great to get to know people. Meat department guys are ready to help you choose the perfect cut. They are always friendly and patient. Vegetable guy is super nice even if you annoy him looking for great deals, :) Prices are fair. I love picking up fruits and all other necessary items. Ralph's sales are great. This store also checks their expiring food diligently so there is always good deals on things you might want to use tonight for dinner. My favorite Raplh's. Keep up the good work. read more

I love my local Ralph's! Here's a tip, they have lime ice for margaritas! You can find it by the bakery. Weird place for ice, I know but it is what it is. Other than that funky place, everything is in order and everything is fairly easy to find. The staff is friendly and if you ask a question then usually know where everything is at. House I love the self check out. It works great for quick items when you have like 4 or 5 items. You can avoid the lines usually there's only two or three casiers open. This Ralph's is small but is defiantly packed with all the good stuff. Their deli and bakery and chicken is always so fresh and yummy. You can literally smell the chicken cooking from the parking lot. Always clean and staff has always been friendly. They also have self checkout stations if your in a hurry. read more

I am so angry at my last experience in this store!! I knew the deli closed at 9pm, so I rushed from work and got to the deli counter by 8:52. I waited patiently for the little elderly couple in front of me to order their meats and cheeses ... I made eye contact with the lady behind the counter who was helping the elderly couple. At 9 pm sharp (!) another employee came out and was told by the lady to turn the deli case lights out (instead of helping me), then she proceeded to tell me "sorry, we are closed"! Whaaat??? What kind of customer service was this??? I work retail, I know how customers should be treated! I totally would've understood if I showed up after 9 and the lights were already out ... but I was there in plenty of time ... not my fault they only had one person out there helping customers and then she didn't even make sure I was helped!! I have many other choices of stores to shop at, but it's the closest place that sells Boars head meats! The more I thought about this, the more angry I got!! Worst customer service ever wish I could them no stars. My dad went to Ralphs today to get groceries for the family a new employee was working at the cashier. The terminal was locked and accidentally charged my dad twice for his groceries. My dad says they charged him twice the lady helping the employee said no. My dad then ask for the manger she she crosses her arms over her chest and shook her head and said " I am the manger". Says "what are you gonna do about it" my dad says" "I'm not leaving anywhere until I gets my groceries or my money back". So she threatens to call the police. My dad says "go ahead". So she calls the police three sherifs shows up. Explained what happened my dad showed his account and called the bank said the same thing that they did charged him twice. So the police ask the so called manger to check the tape turns out she did charge him twice and was forced to give him his groceries as a "Curtesy" for miss understanding when she could have checked it in the first place she also did not gave him a recipient. She needs to be fired terrible customer service all she had to do was check the tape. She falsely accused someone of stealing. Please do not go here. read more

This is possibly the most consistently disappointing Ralph's I've ever been in. Which is unfortunate cause its close to my house and the staff is very nice and friendly. The store is very small for Ralph's and they make weird stock selections, for example while you can choose between protein spaghetti, gluten free spaghetti, wheat spaghetti, 5 different brands of spaghetti, it's all still just spaghetti. There is an apparent focus on brand diversity and an extremely limited diversity in basic Kroger brand items. Stock is often very low on sale items. Im extremely disappointed cause w/n the last year they installed new taller shelves but nothing improved. Ralph's have also closed or shortened the hours on the two other closest locations so I keep ending up here .... Disappointed. read more

It's got a lot of nice things, BUTT there are a lot of people working there that have smart mouths and be prepared to take a lot of trash talking garbage if you shop there. I told one of the employees that I was trying to cut back on the sweets there among other things and the clerk said, "Yeah, sure you are and held up a box of coffee cakes. I told him I wasn't the only one living in my apartment, then he started rambling on, getting real nosy asking me how many people live with me and all of these "stupid" questions. I told him that I buy for the whole family and he actually seemed a little surprised when I told him. Also to add insult to injury, I was in an electric scooter and was over 60 years old. To make matters worse, when I got home I called the so called "manager" up and complained to her, and she was actually not much better, then she started telling me she was busy and she had 4 people waiting in line. The moral to this story is, go to these places to buy food, not to chummy up to anyone. To add insult to injury I spent over $400 there a few days ago, and tonight spent $463 again in less than a week. You don't need to meet anyone like this and they could care less about you, your a CUSTOMER and as long as you keep the relationship like that you'll be fine. If you need someone to talk to, go on Match.com, it's unfortunate, but YOU'LL wind up being the one that gets hurt, trust me. read more
