This Baskin-Robbins is in such an odd location, it's easy to forget it's here. I've lived in the area since 2006 and only here 3, maybe 4 times. Even then, every visit has been as expected. They've never been very busy. At the most, I've only seen one other customer, or family in the location when I've been here. The employee isn't always up front, so I assume there's only one, and they have to do everything. The service does what's it's supposed to, but I wouldn't call it overly enthusiastic. The ice cream is always good. I remember getting a couple milkshakes during Covid that were also very tasty. Baskin-Robbins always has good selection of special or seasonal flavors. The place is clean but has been around for several years so it's not brand new. Getting out can be tricky if you're trying to get back onto Tustin Ave. Otherwise, it's a great little location. read more

I bring my granddaughter here often since it is close to her home and she loves ice cream. The parking lot is small and it is difficult to turn into That said, I have to admit that I have never had a problem finding a parking space. The place has always looked clean. The staff have been friendly, courteous and helpful. The ice cream selection was awesome. Everything has tasted great. My granddaughter always gets one scoop. I have a two scoop sundae. She manages to talk me out of the cherry atop my sundae every time. Great memories. read more

Not all Baskin-Robbins franchises are created equal. We happened to be in the city of Orange and searching for a dessert option after dinner, and we thought Baskin-Robbins would be a safe choice. First of all, this location is not easy to find because it's nestled in a small strip mall off Meats Ave and cannot be reached via N Tustin Street. There is also limited parking in the plaza. The exterior looks nicer than most locations and there is a good amount of space indoors, but in my opinion they need more tables and chairs indoors to accommodate all the space. There was only one employee working and I didn't find her overly friendly but based on other Yelp reviews, it sounds like she was better than others. This location was surprisingly busy when we visited and at the end of the day we were able to get our ice cream fix. Gold Medal Ribbon never disappoints! read more

I ordered a cake and requested a cancellation shortly thereafter. I was not offered a refund, only a credit towards a future purchase which I agreed to. Today, I called back to use that credit towards a cake and I'm being told that they are under new ownership and they will not be honoring the credit. They are refusing to refund what I originally paid and are also refusing a credit towards a purchase. I would avoid this specific Baskin Robbin's since it seems the new ownership is difficult to deal with and won't even honor a credit towards a cake I never received. read more

They don't do tastes like BR always have so when I did t like the kids scoop of the flavor of the month that I got they refused to swap it for something tried and true. This had to be the worst ice cream place I've ever been too. I got a scoop of pralines and cream , first off the girl working there had zero customer service skills. The scoop I received was super soft and literally had two pralines in it. At almost $5 I just expected way more. When I looked at Yelp after and saw 3stars they aren't wrong. My son and I stopped by here the other day and thought the ice cream was great and the service friendly. We don't get ice cream very often, but we were having a serious craving and decided to stop by here. My son usually likes chocolate ice cream, but he was feeling daring and wanted to try something new. After a small sample, he decided to go with the Butter Pecan. This is one of my favorite ice creams, and I had to get a small scoop too. I'm so glad I did because it was delicious! This Baskin Robbins looks like a newer location. It's really clean with lots of nice tables to sit and relax at. The cases were full of beautiful ice cream cakes. I can't wait to come back and order one for a birthday. The service seemed good here too. While it was very busy when we first got here and the only employee working here seemed a bit overwhelmed, she was much friendlier when things finally quieted down. It is a bit difficult getting in and out of the parking lot here. The parking lot also seems a bit small. We must have come here at a great time because we found a spot right away. This is a nice Baskin Robbins location. The ice cream was delicious and the customer service was really good. We look forward to coming back here soon! read more

In the OC oven of summertime weather, this Baskin Robbins was in the area while I was running some errands. The parking is a little cramped but luckily a spot opened up for me so no biggie. The actual establishment is super inviting as you're instantly met with the cashier. This one, Angelina I think her name was, was super friendly and literally one of the most cheerful employees I have ever met. I don't find too much joy working in food service myself, but her friendliness and understanding attitude was "ice cold" -- HAHA ! I hope she gets lots of tips and higher pay because her customer service is impeccable. She knows the ice cream flavors like the back of her hand and she was very attentive to my needs. read more

Horrible service and ice cream. Our family purchased a total of 6 kids scoops. Seconds later, we noticed two of our scoops were extra melted and soft after tasting it. We asked the worker "LILY" if we could change it, since it was way too soft and melted, and she told us she couldn't do anything about it since we already tried it. I had to ask for a cup to prevent it from melting all over my hands. I've ordered JAMOCHA ALMOND FUDGE numerous times, from other locations and it's NEVER melted nor soft when I've had this previously. So in my family we all scream for ice cream!! I personally am a frozen yogurt fan but I will definitely indulge in some ice cream. I love the variety of flavors they always have!! Some of my faves are pineapple coconut, nutty coconut and rocky road!! They have a wild n reckless sherbet which is delicious too!! I like how each month they have a featured flavor!! I've had some super delicious flavors like pumpkin cheesecake and donut and coffee!! I The bad thing is that not all locations always have the feature of the month, including this one. Also service is hit or miss!! Sometimes you get someone behind the counter that just doesn't look to happy to be there. Scoops are pricey at $3.99 but it's definitely a good size scoop. This is a new location. Right by the street and lots of parking. Close to many other stores so you can easily swing by on the way to somewhere else. The inside is really big and there is lots of empty space. Maybe they can put something else in that big space. Clean store and lots of places for people to sit inside. It's so bad, I am truly NOT going to go again - unless I HEAR that it's fixed (which I don't know from whom). All the ice-cream is all melted. Or melting. It's like 115 degrees in here. I am going outside because I'm dripping sweat and can't handle it anymore, while my (awesome) boyfriend is inside waiting for my smoothie. Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream had been going down in quality until lately. New flavors and less overrun in the batches improve the product but there's still a tad too much preservatives. Test it by letting some ice cream melt. What should be melted cream and sugar is a gummy, gelatinous mess. But it isn't as bad as it used to be so maybe they improved the recipes? This is a small, hidden location but it's brightly lit and clean. Carlos is very efficient and friendly which made our visit quite pleasant. He kept the all the selections fresh-looking and he kindly put my hot fudge on the side so it wouldn't melt my ice cream on the ride home. It's special people and special service like this that makes a place stand out from the competition. He offered samples and frankly, I was surprised at how yummy some of the new flavors are. I've been to this location a few times. The staffers are all monotone, but the service is quick, and they deliver the goods - overpriced "crack" made from milk and ice. Overall 3.5 -Associates 3.5 - could improve this is why I am not giving them 4 stars...they get the job done, but they looked like they hated being there, N hated customers for going. But they made me another cappucino blast without questioning my reasoning, or getting lippy. It was a trainee that made it the first time, and it didn't taste as good as it did my first visit. I added the .5 for the taste of the drink and because I understand everyone has to learn how to do their job and won't be perfect the first time. -Cleanliness 4 I hope it isn't just bc it just opened, but it was cleaner than other BR I frequent. -parking plenty, restroom at this location so that's a plus. There's room for improvement, if there isnt as long as my drink is just as good I'll probably keep going back. read more
