Not a bad store. Sunday around 12:00 noon, we were buying some needed ingredients for our hotdogs backyard cookout! Bacon wrapped sausage, chips, hotdog buns, soda, etc. Quick stop. This is only our second time at this location in about 1 year lol. Parking lot wasn't bad, not crowded. The store is actually quite big, to my eyes lol. Well organized, looked cleaned. We paid through the self check out to avoid the cashiers, but of course, it got stuck so the self check out staff had to come and fix it. She was quick and friendly. Very satisfied with that excellent interaction.

Once again this is the most horrendous place to shop. AGAIN the only reason I come here is because it is down the hill from my house. This guy Ryan is a horrible employee. This is the 4th time he is aggressive towards me. I have complaint to management before but no one cares!!!

Smashed writing on plastic labels not the actual cake??

They couldn't write on the cake for some odd reason but plenty of other grocery stores will do it but they wrote on plastic labels and then smashed the writing?? Yeah ok Ralph's

Can someone teach how to bag!? Never should chemicals be put with food! Heavy products should not be put with fragile products! This happens all the time at this store. Today was two mini cherry pies put with two cranberry juice containers which crushed the pies. Common sense please!

Organic section is too big for my camera! Even the salad bar is organic

I have been frequenting this store for 14 years. It is well stocked with just about anything one would need, from plants, to fresh roses, a very good deli that makes wonderful sandwiches and sides. They have an organic salad bar! Their organic section is the largest I've seen in a grocery store. It is much bigger than Sprouts. The produce is always fresh and in an orderly fashion. In all my years shopping here, I've never seen any of the produce in the entire store messy. They have a great take home and bake pizzas in the deli, which is nice after work. Pair it with an organic salad and it's dinner! They have a section in the back of the store that is discounted for fast sales. I've found some good stuff there, The location is convenient since it's on Weir Canyon at a corner. The people who work here are nice too! Update: January 2018. All the above is true, but for the past several months, I've found expired food Every time I shop, from nut milks, to bacon, to frozen foods. It's very inconvenient that checking expiration dates is now necessary. Today, the first 2 packages of turkey bacon I picked up expired in December!! (That's 1 month old meat-yikes!). I always bring it to a workers attention, and they always say thank you nicely.

But the auto center messed up the star rating when they gave my ex gf a horrible experience a few weeks ago. She went there ti buy and install 4 new tires. The guy in auto center was rude. Plus the installers overinflated her tires up to 12 pounds. Not sure why they would do that crap. Her door jam clearly says 30 pounds. Why would you put 42 pounds in her tires ???? So it can cause premature tire wear or just negligence?? Additionally, they fooled around with her positive battery terminal and left it loose. So her car was having issues with starting intermittently and her dash clock kept resetting every time she turned off vehicle. Why would you mess with anything under the hood when you are just changing tires???? Oh, last but not least, they didn't replace her valve stems and they ruined one of them. I swear I wish I were there when she took her vehicle there. I would've made them do everything right or give us a full refund and take your tires back. I swear.

As for renewing my registration and license tag, this was my first time doing this and I had to ask the security lady if she could help me, and she happily did. After I had some difficulties, I started screaming like Malcolm from Haunted House 2 when his believed dog got crushed by a heavy suitcase, and he dramatically tried to revive her. That's what my scream sounded like when I was frustrated, except I didn't revive a mushed dog and my scream wasn't that loud. But the security lady was caring and kind, and she helped me out. Within minutes, I was able to figure out how to use the kiosk without my dad having to do all the work for me. Eventually, I was able to get my new registration and a new license tag in the process. I usually shop at Amazon Fresh because there's no line, it's less crowded and I can ring myself up or have the robot shopping cart do it and be on my way. This Sprouts is equally a pleasant shopping experience. Normally if I get coffee, I'd order from Klatch using their app then pick it up in store and be on my way, but the last two times I needed groceries and decided to get them here since I picked up my coffee here and to save me a trip to Amazon Fresh. After picking up my coffee, I was looking at my phone at a TikTok for ingredients and an employee walked up concerned and asked me if everything was ok since I was kind of hovering by the end of the aisle. I let her know I was ok and that I was just looking down at my phone, I wasn't sad and we had a chuckle. Once I figured out what I needed I turned down the pasta aisle and another one of the employees was going down that aisle at the same time and greeted me and asked if I found everything ok and I said, yes, thank you! I was honestly there for about 15 minutes and it felt like everyone was making sure I was ok and that's the other reason why I would shop here over Amazon Fresh. I was told by this couple that I know that shops here religiously that they have very good deals on Tuesday? Something about checking the ends of the aisles or you can find deeply discounted items here. Parking here can get a little crazy and nowt hey have Tesla chargers at the end of the lot so it's a little busier with that traffic, but I've always been able to find a good parking spot. It's nowhere near as bad as Costco and Amazon Fresh across the street.

I went to Seafood City, as I do almost every week, to buy meals from Grill City. During my visit…read morethis week, I immediately noticed that the food containers and portion sizes have changed and not for the better. The portions are noticeably smaller, yet the prices remain exactly the same. Previously, the combo meals came in larger containers with more generous servings. Even the à la carte items seem to have been reduced in size. The most disappointing example was the Snack Kaboodle. It is now significantly smaller, yet it still costs $9.99. The taho has also been downsized; what used to be served in a larger bowl is now only about three-quarters of the previous portion. As a regular customer, this change was impossible to miss. It raises an important question: Did Seafood City and Grill City really think loyal customers wouldn't notice when portions were reduced while prices stayed the same? Food prices were already on the higher side, and now customers are receiving less food for the same amount of money. From a customer's perspective, this feels unfair and disappointing. If rising costs have made changes necessary, transparency would be appreciated. However, reducing portion sizes without adjusting prices or informing customers comes across as poor value and gives the impression that customers are being asked to pay more while receiving less. The attached photos speak for themselves. The first photo was taken just last week during Memorial Day week, when the portions were still larger and more reasonable. The second and the rest of the photos was taken today, with the exact same order of two combo meals, yet the portions and containers are clearly smaller. As someone who has supported Seafood City and Grill City regularly, this experience has made me reconsider my weekly visits. Instead of being a place I stop by every week, it may become somewhere I only visit occasionally when I'm specifically craving the food. Long-time customers notice these changes, and many will feel that they are no longer getting the value they once did. Please do better. Customer loyalty is built on consistency, quality, and value. Shrinking portions while maintaining the same prices undermines that trust and risks driving away the very customers who have supported your business for years. I normally would not leave a negative review because I have been a loyal, regular customer for a long time. In fact, as someone who visited almost every week, I would have preferred to continue supporting the business rather than criticizing it publicly. However, I believe people deserve to know when a business makes changes that significantly reduce value for customers. What makes this particularly disappointing is that the change is not an improvement~it is a clear step backward. Customers are paying the same prices, yet receiving noticeably smaller portions than before. That is difficult to justify, especially for those of us who have supported Seafood City and Grill City consistently over the years. Remaining silent would not be fair to other customers who expect the same quality, portions, and value they have come to know. This review is not being written out of spite. It is being written out of disappointment and honesty. Regular customers notice when a business changes from better to worse, and prospective customers deserve to be aware of that before spending their hard-earned money.
