Condoms and dead roach under the coffee pot tray. There was also a razor blade under there that just didn't make it into pic.

Disgusting. Worst possible experience. Please, if you value your safety, health, and dignity, NEVER go to this place. Trouble began right away. Walking in, we saw crack vials and used syringes in parking lot. Upon entering lobby, the front desk clerk (Indian woman in her 50s, med length hair) asks for my ID and then proceeds to completely ignore me for about 15 min while she talks on her phone, and then talks to her coworker, in Hindi. Finally we get the key, room 106, and we go in to find... it's an uncleaned, used room. Dirty towels and sheets, trash, other people's forgotten belongings. So we go let the staff know, they give us another room, 261, which was a smoking room that REEKED, even though we'd booked non smoking. Upon entering, we notice the bed headboard is broken off and has been propped up against the wall. Burns on sheets, comforter, furniture, broken and yellowed lampshades, and smudges - big, greasy smears - all over it. The carpet was so filthy it turned your feet black. The tub faucet was broken and sprayed water directly out, rather than down, and the shower curtain was filthy and yellowed. There was trash from previous guests in the closet and the safe. TV did not work at all, and one of the lamps flickered with a strobe light-like affect. Believe it or not, it only got worse. Upon closer inspection, it turned out the door lock didn't work, if you pulled it shut from the inside (thinking it would lock, as one would expect) it did not, so anyone could have walked in while we were sleeping. Then, I noticed the blood. All over the walls in the bathroom, the mirror, and the broken floor. I have worked with recovering addicts, and I know exactly what this is - it's when an IV drug users depresses the plunger on a syringe that already has their blood in it, either to get air bubbles out or to clean the syringe when they're done. It was EVERYWHERE. Then I moved the tray that the coffee pot was one - God help me, there were used condoms, condom wrappers, a dead roach, and a razor blade under there. Did I mention I had my 7 yr old daughter with me? When I went to the desk, the woman was incredibly rude, called me a liar. She said I either had to put up with that room or leave and get refunded for the night. Obviously we choose the later, but when I returned to get the refund, they refused to do it. Claimed that the card I had wasn't the one I booked the room with (it was), and then said I had to contact super.com, as that was the site I had booked the room through. When I contacted them, they said the HOTEL had to refund me. This was the worst experience with a hotel - hell, with any kind of establishment, in my life. I've contacted health dept, BBB, etc. But please, if you value your health and sanity, stay far, far away from this disgusting place.

It's okay but you can't take a swim in the pool in the morning or at least before 12 but you have to check out at 11 and I'm only here for 1 night so but yesterday some one had a wet metal pipe thing then it was about to touch an electric wire and then I got out of the pool

Do you want to be charged 60 dollars for the 30 minutes it takes to realize you made a mistake? I checked out after seeing the room and it cost me a whole $74 dollars. Where else but here can a low price turn into an 2 dollar a minute experience? Have you ever felt worried that you were leaving an hotel room dirtier than you found it? Here you can feel like the hotel room makes you feel dirtier! I even found free sunflower seeds left under the bed skirt. Are you looking for an experience you will never forget? You will feel like you are on the Hollywood set of a derelict hotel but with worse lighting and more of a feeling of disbelief. The tub in my room was so stained, I immediately took pictures to share with my family and friends. You can debate which is more disgusting, the torn and splotchy lamp shades, or the spots of gunk rubbed into the rug. This is a once in a lifetime experience for me, but it can be yours any night you wish!

Bed bugs and roaches everywhere service terrible employees rude and they will walk in ur room after 1 knock to try to catch u nude 2 grey and black haired men under room 262 I believe only 2 employees speak English desk lady from 3 to 11 is nasty

Do. Not. Stay. Here. The place is filthy. There was blood on wall. Toilet wouldn't flush and the "manager" sent a sink plunger that did nothing. Most surfaces had cigarette burns, including the bathtub! Really. All night, skeevy characters wandered the parking lot including several obvious prostitutes and meth heads. This place should be condemned. When I brought all this to the attention of the desk "person," she was dismissive and nonchalant. If you actually find yourself here, you should seriously question whatever terrible choices you have made.

Terrible. Dirty. Really run down. You get what you pay for but DAMN! Skip this place. Too many downfalls. but it was only for 1 night passing thru, visiting from California.

I went to check in. Trash everywhere (should of been my first red flag) I get to the room, and it's filthy. Room smelled like marijuana. Dirty bathroom. Dirty bed. Linens looked like they never been washed. Quarter of joint left in the sink. Went to front desk to ask for another room. The lady says we're fully booked. I ask for a refund, since I'm not staying in an unhygienic room. Lady wouldn't give me a refund. I called my credit card company and file a dispute. No one should stay here. The staff is rude and didn't do anything to help. Do yourself the a favor, spend the extra money and get a decent room somewhere else. Don't be cheap. It's not worth your health to save a few dollars

    Roaches and other pests.

This place has rats and roaches in all rooms. I called the police and still no refund. the prices are a lie and a trap at $80 a night. Please see all the bad reviews of bed bugs and pictures of pests.

Another fake eyelash in the lobby. We had to wait 20 minutes in line to check in.
    Nina I.

This is the filthiest hotel I've ever stayed in. There were semen stains on the chair, the curtains were moldy, the bedsheets weren't changed and were full of crumbs and yellow stains, someone's fake eyelashes were on the carpet meaning it wasn't vacuumed, there were flies in the room, and there was garbage and stray cats all over the parking lot. Someone hit my car in the parking lot when I was sitting in it, and when I asked the girl at the front desk if there is a security camera facing the lot, she refused to tell me. I'm not sure what I expected when I booked the cheapest room in Baltimore but I definitely got what I paid for.

    Roaches

Nasty nasty nasty!!! Do not stay here. It's dirty and it's never been cleaned. The people that work here need to learn how to clean. It has roaches and bugs in the rooms. The beds are nasty and the bathrooms have never been cleaned. This is how Indina people live in filth. I already reported this place to the health department and BBB. That's how bad it is. please don't waste your money on this place go somewhere else.

All I can say is DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I have never been to a more disgusting hotel in my life!! I even ask if we could have additional towels because our bath towels had short curly hairs stuck to them and was told at 6:30 pm that housekeeping was closed and maybe in the morning we could get clean towels.!!

    Tiffany M.

Not my first choice hotel but when you're looking for a smoking room, the options are extremely scarce. It's about $80/night. The King size bed was very comfortable and there are a lot of cable channels. Just for $5 more, I opted for the room with the refrigerator and microwave. The rooms are a nice size and there's free parking. It's near the highway and there are many stores and restaurants very close by. It was clean for the most part.....not spotless, but clean. Although the bathroom was small, the shower was big enough to turn around and wash comfortably without hitting the walls or curtain. That made me extremely happy. The staff were extremely pleasant from the attendant to housekeeping. I wasn't a fan of the stairwell. My room was on the second floor and there was only one stairwell in the front by the lobby. So if you had to park in the back or your room was in the back, you have to walk all the way to the front stairwell to get upstairs. And although the sheets and blankets were clean, there were many burn holes in the comforter. Other than that, the motel was decent.

This little roach showed up on the bathroom wall as we were trying to leave.

We were assigned a room on the same floor as the lobby, just past the fitness center. From the outside it was as if we were on the second floor. Our single bed was quite wide, the ceiling above the bed was very high, but the bathroom was small, had no spare toilet paper, and only two hooks to hang anything, which made it tough to hang clean clothing and towels to dry for two guests who do not share towels. Speaking of which, towels provided were limited, so when I found a stain on my bath towel and requested a fresh one, they brought me a whole set. After our time here I saw a video by theholdernessfamily mentioning hotel bathrooms with barn doors that don't close tightly. I didn't realize that was a thing. But it proved true here! Also clear glass shower doors which make it impossible to share the bathroom with a gal pal while someone is showering. Our across the hall neighbor was loud. It proved to be an excellent base for a short family getaway. The Positives: 1) Room Setup: We appreciated having two queen beds, which worked perfectly for a family of three. Both beds were comfortable, and the room layout felt functional rather than cramped. 2) Location: The hotel's proximity to major attractions was ideal. On our first full day, we walked about 10 minutes along the waterfront to the National Aquarium, which made for an easy and pleasant outing. The next day, we made a similarly short walk to the Port Discovery Children's Museum (formerly known as the Children's Discovery Center). In both instances, being able to walk back and forth without relying on transportation made the trip significantly smoother with a young child. 3) Staff and Service: The staff were consistently helpful. The concierge lounge attendants were friendly, and the front desk team handled check-in and check-out efficiently. On our departure day, we were able to store our luggage seamlessly after checking out, which allowed us to enjoy a few more hours in the area without feeling encumbered. 4) Elevators: This may seem like a small operational detail, but it mattered. We were on the 21st floor, and the concierge lounge is on the 31st. Because there is no direct elevator connection between those floors, we frequently had to ride down to the lobby and transfer elevators. Despite this added movement, the elevators were consistently quick and efficient. We never found ourselves waiting long, even during busier periods--a notable plus in a large waterfront hotel. 5) Concierge Lounge: The lounge was a real asset, particularly on our first evening. After traveling, it was convenient to piece together a full dinner from the generous spread available there. The following morning was more uneven--they ran out of food earlier than expected due to heavier foot traffic--but this appeared to be more of a planning miscalculation than neglect. Overall, having access to the lounge added meaningful value to our stay. (Lounge access is limited to Marriott Bonvoy members with elite status, which fortunately my wife has because of her frequent travels.) 6) Breakfast Buffet: We opted for the breakfast buffet on our final morning. At $32 per person, it is undeniably expensive. That said, the quality and variety justified the price. The offerings were extensive: oatmeal, grits, pork and chicken sausage, bacon, home fries, scrambled eggs, pancakes, made-to-order omelets and waffles, juices, coffee, and more. It was a comprehensive, well-executed American breakfast spread. Overall: For a short family trip to Baltimore, the Marriott Waterfront struck the right balance between comfort, convenience, and service. The location alone makes it highly attractive for families planning to explore the Inner Harbor area, and the operational execution--from elevators to luggage storage--was smooth. We would gladly consider staying here again on a future visit.

The only things I did not like were the robes come in one size and run small. Also, I dont feel the cabana's are properly priced. I paid almost $500 and it wasn't really luxurious. When you think of the Four Seasons, you think top tier. The cabana was simply basic for the price. Could have been better. But aside from those two things, the hotel for sure lives up to its name.
