I stopped by the Ivy hotel for a massage. I have to be honest I came because my friend purchased a gift certificate for me. The hotel is stunning and the customer service is top tier. They do provide valet when you are getting spa services. The massage was okay. I received the custom massage for 60 minutes. They provide water service before and tea afterwards. They gave me a small gift and card since I was celebrating my birthday.

I had a 60th birthday weekend at the Ivy for my husband. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We had a private dinner with wine pairings. Wow! It was amazing. The food was delicious. The wine pairings were wonderful. The hotel is gorgeous. We felt so at home. We hated to leave. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely stunning hotel with top-notch service and a peaceful, luxurious atmosphere. The rooms are beautifully designed, and every detail feels thoughtful. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a relaxing stay. Truly a special place!

I visited the spa for a second time today. The space is visually pleasing and very clean. The staff has been exceptionally professional and knowledgeable at both of my visits. I have had full body, deep tissue massages done by Abigail and Amira. I can't say enough about how comfortable I felt during my service with both of them. I'm planning on scheduling a facial within the next few weeks and will update my review as soon as I receive that service. Valet was included in my spa service.

As I continue my birthday season of celebration, I thoroughly enjoyed a couples massage and dinner at the Ivy. As we arrived, we were promptly greeted with complimentary valet parking and escorted inside to confirm our reservation. There was a slight mix up as we entered the Magdalena instead of the hotel lobby, but we were quickly escorted to an elevator to take us up to the spa. The spa entry is small and underwhelming, but everything to follow was quite lovely. As we waited for our therapist, we were offered water (still or sparkling) and after commenting on how wonderfully chilled the water was hot tea was offered to warm us up. After completing required paperwork, we met our therapist and they were friendly and welcoming. Once in the treatment room we received the most amazing 90 minute massages provided by Raquel and Damoni. After our massages we headed downstairs for dinner. Our server was great, this is definitely a special occasion restaurant but nothing felt obnoxious/uptight. We had delicious hand crafted cocktails and an amazing appetizer, homemade bread selection, steak, and pork chop. We had no room for dessert after finishing our meal but the selection looked heavenly. I highly recommend you treat yourself to a visit, whether spa, restaurant, or night at the hotel you can't go wrong here. This is a gem in the city that must be visited. This is hospitality done right.

My husband and I never had any doubt we would be married at The Ivy Hotel, and on June 15, 2022, we did it! We had an intimate wedding with 15 guests in their stunning courtyard. From the day I emailed Terry to the day after our wedding, we were thrilled with the experience. Terry was professional, attentive, courteous, knowledgeable, kind, and honest. Terry and Maureen had excellent communication working together, which made the entire process pain-free. The same is true with the rest of the Ivy Hotel staff; everyone was exceptional. The level of hospitality we experienced at this stunning boutique hotel was unmatched. From the valet who greets you by name to the welcome champagne to the elegant tea time in the afternoon, it was an outstanding luxurious experience. The Concierge/Guest Services team was professional, detailed, and well-organized. It always felt like they were at least 10 steps ahead of me, especially James (he was an absolute delight). Housekeeping was quick and precise! Theresa deserves an award for her excellence. She made it her job to ensure my husband and I enjoyed every moment at the hotel. Also, I would be remiss if I didn't shoutout the drivers who ensured the bride was calm and brought us to various locations on time and in style! My husband and I can not go without saying that Magdelena was phenomenal. Every single meal was fantastic, and the staff was hospitable. We can not thank The Ivy enough for making our celebration the best we could have imagined. We will be back every six months! If you are thinking about visiting The Ivy, don't hesitate to book your stay! If you are thinking about having an intimate wedding at The Ivy, don't hesitate to book your date!

Fantastic first experience at The Ivy Hotel: the staff went above and beyond at every turn. They were the true stars of the weekend: greeting us by name upon arrival and making sure we had everything we needed without asking. That said, the room, the afternoon tea (on the terrace because we lucked out with a gorgeous summer/fall day), the spa treatment (massage), the game room and library, the breakfast at the Magdalena before checkout, and the grounds were all wonderful. Highly recommend staying at The Ivy Hotel if you enjoy a full-service experience!

Yes to staying at the rich auntie's house. That is exactly what this felt like to me. I'd been eyeing this place for a while and it's been on my list. And when the pandemic hit, we needed more local spots to explore. So, we finally found a few nights open during a time we were available and booked a couple of nights (psst...save your coins for this one). When we arrived, we were eventually greeted with champagne (and sparkling apple cider) and were strongly encouraged ;) to sit down for tea time before it was over. In the meantime, they would work to get us checked in. The tea time was cute and I loved it. Never missed a one during our stay. One of the highlights I really enjoyed was the car service. If you book ahead of time, car service will drive you anywhere you need or want to go within a certain radius. So, we were able to have car service for dinner two nights and an appointment we had. It does end around 9 or 10 so you may need to Uber back to the hotel. The driver was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast (included with your stay) was pretty good in the morning and was so quiet. Sometimes we were the only people down for breakfast and it created an intimate vibe looking out onto the garden. Overall, we had a great experience. Though a little pricey, I recommend staying at least once for a night. The service and hospitality here is top notch.

I stayed for one night in December as a birthday treat, and wish I would have stayed longer. The hotel is GORGEOUS- uniquely decorated in common areas and rooms. I stayed in room 16 which was a nice size. My bf says we have the most comfortable bed at home and hotel beds never compare- he couldnt say the same here. Super comfortable bedding.. loved that they had a little charcuterie and bottle of wine as a welcome (along with the welcome glass of champagne given in the lobby). Valet was complimentary and friendly (greeting me by name on the street-WOW!), and the hotel employee gave a little tour of the property and stressed that if there was ANYTHING they could do, they were a phone call away. Started with afternoon tea (provided in room due to covid restrictions)- the lapsang souchong was a delicious smokey blend and the snacks provided were all tasty. For dinner we ordered room service from Magdalena- a burger and a steak- both excellent. Enjoyed a couple rounds of pool while indulging in their self-serve bar which was well stocked and included mixers, cherries, olives, all the basics u need for a good drink. It felt like we had the place to ourselves- only encountered one other party the entire time. My spa treatment the next day was out of this world- the Bergamot and Champagne treatment.. Nicole was the sweetest soul and an expert at her craft- I had new skin at the end of it all! I will probably make this a yearly treat.. it's a must do if you have the coin as it is a pretty penny but absolutely worth it.

This review is for the spa. Spas are my favorite past time. I try to go to a spa at least twice a month. This time I went to The Ivy Hotel. I visited pre-pandemic and had an excellent experience so I didn't expect anything different this time. One of the things I love about The Ivy is their service. All spa service prices include gratuity and valet parking. As someone who isn't a skilled parallel parker, valet parking is a huge plus. Now to the massage. I wanted to try something different. I opted for the Uncle Nearest Hot Toddy Foot Ritual. This service was divine. It consisted of a foot soak, exfoliation, hot stone massage and mask. As the title suggests, you get to enjoy your service while sipping on your choice of Uncle Nearest Whiskey. This foot massage was 60 minutes of heaven.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Stayed in room eleven. All staff attentive and friendly. Answered every question and request that I had, being that it was my first time there. Enjoyed the afternoon tea & the open bar in the lobby. Was able to mix drinks and take them back to my room. The room itself had a large tub and nice bathroom. Room fridge was stocked with different drinks and had snacks in the cabinet. Enjoyed the room service breakfast in the morning. Was able to order quickly the day before & request what time I wanted it served. Definitely would return. This place is worth the money given all of the included amenities.

THE BEST HOTEL EVER! This is the first time I've been to this hotel and I've loved every minute of it! If your ever in this are please choose this hotel! One of the best quality hotel that feels home-y.The service here was perfect. Everyone here was so friendly and always tried to make small conversation! I've gone here as a birthday gift and with that being said, everyone in the hotel knew it was my birthday and wished me a happy birthday. Not only that but I was also given a bottle of wine for a gift. The breakfast package is something that you MUST get! The food at this hotel is amazing, especially the breakfast. There is so many options that you could choose from the menu and everything here is so good. Also one thing that I've really enjoyed was the coffee that you are served with comes with frosted milk which, is something I've never gotten before (usually I get a cup of cold milk). The room was so clean and nice. There was a fireplace in our room with real fire that warmed up the room so well. The fridge in our room was always filled as well with the bathroom. Every time we left the room we came back to a clean and tidy room! There was nothing to complain about this hotel and would love to visit this place again if I was ever in the area! 100% satisfied at this hotel!

We were assigned a room on the same floor as the lobby, just past the fitness center. From the outside it was as if we were on the second floor. Our single bed was quite wide, the ceiling above the bed was very high, but the bathroom was small, had no spare toilet paper, and only two hooks to hang anything, which made it tough to hang clean clothing and towels to dry for two guests who do not share towels. Speaking of which, towels provided were limited, so when I found a stain on my bath towel and requested a fresh one, they brought me a whole set. After our time here I saw a video by theholdernessfamily mentioning hotel bathrooms with barn doors that don't close tightly. I didn't realize that was a thing. But it proved true here! Also clear glass shower doors which make it impossible to share the bathroom with a gal pal while someone is showering. Our across the hall neighbor was loud. It was as if there was an open house party each night from about 10:30pm to 11:45pm with all the loud comings and goings. Their 24 hour gym had a water fountain. It proved to be an excellent base for a short family getaway. The Positives: 1) Room Setup: We appreciated having two queen beds, which worked perfectly for a family of three. Both beds were comfortable, and the room layout felt functional rather than cramped. 2) Location: The hotel's proximity to major attractions was ideal. On our first full day, we walked about 10 minutes along the waterfront to the National Aquarium, which made for an easy and pleasant outing. The next day, we made a similarly short walk to the Port Discovery Children's Museum (formerly known as the Children's Discovery Center). In both instances, being able to walk back and forth without relying on transportation made the trip significantly smoother with a young child. 3) Staff and Service: The staff were consistently helpful. The concierge lounge attendants were friendly, and the front desk team handled check-in and check-out efficiently. On our departure day, we were able to store our luggage seamlessly after checking out, which allowed us to enjoy a few more hours in the area without feeling encumbered. 4) Elevators: This may seem like a small operational detail, but it mattered. We were on the 21st floor, and the concierge lounge is on the 31st. Because there is no direct elevator connection between those floors, we frequently had to ride down to the lobby and transfer elevators. Despite this added movement, the elevators were consistently quick and efficient. We never found ourselves waiting long, even during busier periods--a notable plus in a large waterfront hotel. 5) Concierge Lounge: The lounge was a real asset, particularly on our first evening. After traveling, it was convenient to piece together a full dinner from the generous spread available there. The following morning was more uneven--they ran out of food earlier than expected due to heavier foot traffic--but this appeared to be more of a planning miscalculation than neglect. Overall, having access to the lounge added meaningful value to our stay. (Lounge access is limited to Marriott Bonvoy members with elite status, which fortunately my wife has because of her frequent travels.) 6) Breakfast Buffet: We opted for the breakfast buffet on our final morning. At $32 per person, it is undeniably expensive. That said, the quality and variety justified the price. The offerings were extensive: oatmeal, grits, pork and chicken sausage, bacon, home fries, scrambled eggs, pancakes, made-to-order omelets and waffles, juices, coffee, and more. It was a comprehensive, well-executed American breakfast spread. Overall: For a short family trip to Baltimore, the Marriott Waterfront struck the right balance between comfort, convenience, and service. The location alone makes it highly attractive for families planning to explore the Inner Harbor area, and the operational execution--from elevators to luggage storage--was smooth. We would gladly consider staying here again on a future visit.

Rooms are well-appointed and spacious. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was perfect. There was a crayon on the floor, which gave me pause on the cleanliness, though other than that, the room seemed very clean. There is plenty of storage, but I can always appreciate more hooks. We utilized the spa, which was awesome, and appreciated the in-room dining. Our in-room dining server was extremely friendly and funny, which was nice, though our breakfast order was extremely delayed. At least it was good, which is more than I can say for the hotel's other offerings. The hotel restaurants, while elegant with fairly good service, provided food and libations that were mid, if I'm being generous. This was a celebratory stay, and nothing ruins that more than inferior food, which we experienced. Valets were friendly and funny, though they forgot to extend our parking, so we ended up with a ticket (which was adjudicated, but still, not something you expect from the Four Seasons). The room was beautiful. Its a long infinity pool that overlooked the harbour. They have a bar/poolside restaurant and semi private cabanas. The only things I did not like were the robes come in one size and run small. Also, I dont feel the cabana's are properly priced. I paid almost $500 and it wasn't really luxurious. When you think of the Four Seasons, you think top tier. The cabana was simply basic for the price. Could have been better. But aside from those two things, the hotel for sure lives up to its name. Dinner was alright but I'd pass on breakfast here. Overall, it is a decent hotel in a bad neighborhood. I wouldn't come back mainly because of the neighborhood. Baltimore is just overall in rough shape.

My room was cleaned twice in that 5 day window which was just enough. The common areas were clean. The breakfast offered was good. I stuck to the oatmeal, bagel and coffee. I did have a meal from the bar/hotel restaurant and it was very very good! My room was clean and spacious! I had the issue with the toilet but then also the refrigerator had an ice machine that kept making ice nonstop and made noise on and off throughout the day. My room Was on the 12th floor but the noise outside from the passing traffic and loiters across the street woke me up and kept me up 3 out of those 5 nights. The bed was comfortable and the room was good. The hotel was nice but it's just the noise outside that was the biggest issue.
