The hotel clearly states that they offer lots of accessibility but there is NO Elevators and all King Rooms are on the second floor with no access for those with a disability. You cannot get heavy luggage upstairs without dragging it up a large flight of steps. The front desk receptionist stated she could not adjust the reservation from a King to a Queen (all queen rooms are on the first floor and all Kings are on second). She made my elderly parents with their walkers leave because we had booked the room through Orbitz. I had to call the hotel and tell them the ADA required disclosure and THEN she magically figured out how to move the hotel reservation from a King to a queen located on the first floor but DID NOT give a refund for the difference in the price of the room. Room was typical double queen. A little out dated inside and they turned off everything (mini fridge and A/C) to save on electricity. It's quaint on the exterior too. Everything would have been dandy if it weren't for their service. My grievances are with the management. The manager was very stingy and was trying to argue with me about a price that was agreed over the phone when I called to make a reservation. He said there's no lady working at the time I called. He went to the extreme of asking me to show him my call history. What the heck. That's just plain rude. There is a restaurant Lounge located on property. My son loved the fish n chips. Real route 66 flair. Fitness room not so good. Treadmill didnt work and the weights looked like u might hurt myself. I wondered why there were no photos of this Ramada from a street view. When you drive up, you'll understand. Built sometime ago when building standards were non existent, please do not try and spend the night here. When I arrived I asked about an early check in. It was 2pm, check in is 3pm. I was told they would be happy to have me check in early for an additional $20. No thanks. So I came back, asked to see the room as I had my suspicions due to the funky lobby, if you want to call it that, and the horrible painting and decor outside. As if a movie buff ate something really bad, had a horrible dream, then painted it on the outside walls. I was shown a room that had not been updated from the 50's, maybe even before that. No way. So then I was shown a room that had been "renovated". Renovated still means that when the folks on the other side of the wall talk to one another, it sounds like they are in the room with you. Better, but when I first talked with Kellie, the desk person, I told her that I had to have internet as the hotel where I was the night before, had a bad connection. Oh yes, no problem. So I checked in, the room was clean and not facing a wall, but no internet. I called, they would fix it as others had complained as well. By 5 pm I had had it. Went to reception, no help, no manager on site, asked for my money back, no way, so I left. Kellie was nice, but I think she'd worked there about 30 seconds as she had no idea where the second room was. Instead of renovating, they should have gotten a demolition permit and started over. I went right across the street and had a nice quiet night, great internet connection and a lovely new room at the Holiday Inn. Kingman is just "on the way" to where you really want to go so don't try and save a few dollars here. You'll be sorry. read more

This place is above and beyond what I have seen in other hotels. It is clean,the rooms are clean the outside is clean the yards are well kept, the parking lot has no trash. It is picked up every morning. There are painted murals of Hollywood stars from Route 66 era. This place is very unique at a great price! I paid around $66 for 1 king bed. Came with hair dryer, breakfast, shower, and couch. Seeing all the paintings all over the hotel were my favorite part. Very friendly staff. read more

Over all good experience. Room was clean without suspicious stains. Parking right at my door. I was on the first floor. Free breakfast. Got 4 vouchers for free breakfast. Only needed 3 since my 1 year old still doesn't have teeth and needs soft foods. Didn't use them though. Can't comment on the restaurant area. There were a few ants in the fridge area. Terrible! Rude employees, dirty and loud.... they had a work bench right out front of the rooms and were working early AM all through the night until about 8pm. Only stayed one night and was woken up by a Male employee letting himself into our room... He tried to lie and say he thought we were checking out, but it was hours before check out time and I had called the night before to get late check out. When I went downstairs the worker seemed to understand why I was so angry and called the owner who is named Neil I guess...(I never spoke to him, never even got an apology, a coupon anything!) the front desk woman was nice and offered us some bananas because we missed breakfast.. DO NOT STAY HERE, yes the price is very reasonable so I didn't have high expectations but when employees freely let themselves in your room with no consequences and they have construction all day and almost night it's too much and not worth it! read more

For what it was, the Ramada Kingman was fine. The room had your standard bed (with the firmest mattress I have ever laid on), sink, toilet and shower. There was a mini fridge and microwave, which was handy. The bathroom was a little tight, but fine to deal with for a couple of nights. They have a pool, courtyard, green space for the kids and a pet park which I'm sure is great for those passing through on a long road trip. There was a railroad track running behind the hotel (motel?) so we heard trains coming through at night. I think the best thing about the Ramada is the free breakfast buffet at the adjoining restaurant, Canyon 66. The first morning, we arrived at just the right time as they were setting out fresh scrambled eggs. Other offerings included home fries, sausages, French toast with syrup, strawberry yogurt and fresh cut fruit. We also got complimentary OJ (or cranberry juice) and coffee. The next day, I think we arrived at a time where they still had the first round of food out, so it was cold and not that great. The staff was always courteous. This is the worst motel in usa . We booked 3 rooms last night when we hit there it was a front desk person who look she was heavy on drugs 30 min later we got to the rooms turn on the heat and came a burning smell chocked . So we turn off the heat try to take a shower the bath tub didn't drain. The towels had yellow discussing stains . we couldn't wipe our faces . The reviews online said the breakfast was great. But I was quite disappointed. All it was with some thin little strips of French toast that you had to put through a toasting oven dry cereal and an apple and some bananas that were all bruised. There were no eggs, no meat of any kind no bacon no sausage, no potatoes. Just bread bread bread. Besides that the room was clean and the bed was nice and it was a pleasant place to stay in the murals all over the building we're pretty cool to look at. The free breakfast was not up to their previous high standards. Our waitress, Amanda was excellent, cheerful at an early hour and friendly. Okay so i'm not exactly sure how many stars to give this review. Here's what happened: I am driving from Flagstaff, Az to Seattle, Wa. We left Flagstaff pretty late and got to Kingman around 10:00pm. We were exhausted from days worth of packing and cleaning and decided that we would just stay in Kingman for the night and rest. So I booked a hotel and off we went. When we arrived, the front desk lady was wonderful. She told me to park along the back or the sides wherever my truck and trailer would fit. We took our 3 dogs out to the cute little dog park and let them play a bit. This was about 10:30. We then parked in the back under a well lit area and went to our room. The room was wonderful and clean- the bed were comfortable and the room was well stocked. We knocked out and slept from about 11:30 to 9 in the morning. We went out to our car in the morning and noticed that there was something on the ground- one of our ratchets belonging to the bag we had strapped down. We realized that one of the bags that was on top of our car was gone- the ratchets had been cut and the bag was taken. We walked to the front desk but stopped to talk to a man who was in one of the supply closets- he said he was in charge at the moment and walked out to the car with us to take a look. He pointed out the security cameras and then told us it would be on video. He brought us up to the managers office and told him what had happened- he gave us the police phone number and we went off to have breakfast and wait for the sheriff. Breakfast was lovely- fresh eggs, sausage, hash browns, toast and orange juice. It was delicious and free! The sheriff arrived- talked to us and took our names and information and went out to observe the scene. We noticed that the bikes had been attempted to be taken as well. When we went to look at the security footage- it just so happened that the footage was 'missing' about six hours of tape. However, all the other cameras were working just fine but the one camera pointing at our cars the night our stuff was stolen just happened to be missing. Coincidence? Not sure. The cop left and we were left perplexed. I asked the GM if we could possibly stay another night in order to figure things out a bit more and look around. He declined comping a night and said he would still charge me for the stay- so my stuff is stolen on your property and you want me out of here? Well that's... suspicious. I was standing in the office watching security footage with one of the managers when he stepped outside for a quick second- the other district manager approached and started talking to him about me and how I had asked for a free night and how I was just looking to get another night stay. Hello, I am trying to get to Seattle for my new job- I do not want to stay here I just want my stuff back so I can get back on the road!!!! Either way, I overheard them talking and he just kept saying it wasn't their fault and they weren't going to do anything to make it better. So basically- I was screwed. One of the GM's motioned that I was in the office and then they because hush-hush and secretive about their conversation after a "oh crap!" and looking at me. I immediately became suspicious. Since I had booked through hotwire I gave them a call and asked if they could ask them if I could possibly get a refund since now I had to replace all my stuff and I was on a very tight budget. They declined- saying it wasn't their fault. Like really? What's $80 to a corporation like this? To me thought that's a decent amount of money. So I was really disappointed with their customer service on that end. That was the least they could of done. Got back on the road and called the sheriff back- he informed me that he was highly suspicious too about the video tapes missing and just the lack of carelessness on their end. The staff was super friendly upon check in and check out. They also offered a military discount which is never expected, but really nice when offered. It's an adorable, quirky little place, the rooms are a bit older. You can tell that the hotel has been around for quite sometime and has seen a lot of visitors over the years but it was very nice and clean! We rested really great here! The wifi was really fast which made up for the fuzzy tv reception. In the morning, we were greeted with a beautiful mountain view when going back to our car in the back lot. I recommend stopping here. We'll stay again if we are ever in the area in the future. read more

DO NOT GO HERE, EVEN IF THEY HAPPEN TO REOPEN. Had a prepaid reservation. When we got there we found out it was closed down. No notice, refund, or even apology. I contacted Wyndham, who owns the Ramada brand, and they said I'd have to go through Expedia to try and get a refund. Which, is total crap. They could refund me but would rather run me in circles, hoping I'll give up. So, I contacted Expedia. Expedia told me that they contacted Ramada and Ramada refused the refund. I feel like I'm on another planet at this point. If you pay for something, and don't receive it, isn't it common practice (and decency) to GIVE THE MONEY BACK?!?! I am super disappointed in Ramada (Wyndham corporation) and Expedia. Bad business practice all around. Last time I use either. Not only am I out the money for the initial reservation, we ended up having to quickly find another place that night which was $50 more than the Ramada. One very very expensive night! read more

If you're looking for a drink and decent service this place certainly has it. However if you're looking for a meal other than wings look elsewhere. I ordered the shrimp scampi it was less than tasteless. The shrimp were pre frozen shrimp (not complaining) but there were only five and they were tiny, my angel hair pasta was over cooked and had absolutely no flavor. The garlic bread that came with it looked quite tasty with the herbs and cheese baked in but the juice that it absorbed made it soggy and inedible. It tasted like boiled noodles with a couple shrimp on top. For $16 I'd rather go home and eat pasta roni at least then I know I'll have some flavor. But over looking the terrible food I received the service was good and the atmosphere was inviting which let's be honest is hard to find here in Kingman. So if you're looking for a decent bar here it is, just don't expect much of the kitchen.. read more

All and all well worth it only real complaint I have is the stupid metal bar that sticks out from the beds that I continuously banged my ankle on.. i had an easy fix for that however! wrapped one of their towels around it and taped it on... no more issues after that... I would recommend removing that bar before someone gets seriously hurt... our entire experiance was awesome otherwise except for that one tiny thing. read more

This place is a big disorganized disappointment. Last night in the restaurant I ordered the pork chops. They didn't have it. Ordered the Sweet Thai chicken wings. Thy didn't have it. Repeated customer orders for different tap beer were met with we don't have that. This morning 0700 bfast suppose to be ready. NOT!!! Thy give u choice scrambled eggs, hash browns choice of bacon or sausage. That's it. I saw on the news theres a recall on a brand of sausage. So I made sure to order bacon. This hotel was very disappointing. It needs updating. The accommodations were substandard. On our recent stay (Aug 2019) the room internet did not work, they could not provide an extra towel for my shower, the bed pillows were flat as pancakes and the breakfast was horrible. There were no eggs, bacon or sausage offered but cold French toast strips that you had to heat in griller. I recommend you pay a little more and stay at Best Western or Holiday Inn. We have stayed here over the years and the rooms are very adequate. We've always enjoyed the setting and courtyard, however, it seems to be under new management. Last night we had the worst dinner ever. Their soup of the evening was French Onion. Looked like a bowl of brown mud or worse & tasted like it. It in no way resembled French Onion Soup. I had chicken Caesar salad thinking that's hard to ruin. Chicken was good, dressing strange. We cannot recommend the restaurant & won't be eating there again, sadly. read more

Fairly dated in decor and layout but nice pool with tiki bar and an adequate gym even though it is in an unused hotel room. Kind of weird but adequate for a work out. Hollered to someone who was in a side room to come and help us get an early check in. We didn't need the room just to check in. The lady who came out in blue hair was too busy on her cell phone and refused to do the check in. The manager didn't seem to care about the poor attitude. Room doors didn't seem to lock properly. OVERALL - I was pretty pleased, no major complaints that would keep me from returning but there were some hiccups....although everyone was very pleasant, overall the management seemed very disorganized. No one seemed to know anything or knew what the other person was doing. Incredibly frustrating when you are trying to hold an event and stay on schedule. I think if they can work on this it would be great. We hosted a workshop in their meeting room. I called the day before to make sure everything was squared away and we were good to go, and was assured there were no issues. At 9pm the night before as I was walking to my room for the night, the gal on duty asked me if we could possible reschedule or delay our workshop the next day because they had double booked the room...like, really? I politely told her no (as we were on a schedule) and that they would have to figure something out. Luckily we were able to start on schedule but... That morning the gentleman at the front desk had no idea who we were, or that we we had rented the rooms, or who to contact to get the TV's up and running, or how to get the AC turned on so it wasn't super hot, or how to get additional tables into the room..... The meeting room had 4 TV's, none of which we could use for our presentation because we didn't bring our own slide advancer (?) as the only way to flip through slides in the presentation was to stand in the closet at the back of the room and use the mouse on their computer to do it manually. Say what?? I wish someone had told us this BEFOREHAND. Luckily we brought our own screen, projector etc. We pre-arranged for morning coffee service for our guests, which did not arrive until well after the meeting got underway, and it wasn't even a carafe or coffee pot on a warmer, just a pot of coffee set on the table! Like, really?? Needless to say it didn't stay warm very long. The guy could not figure out how to work the AC in our meeting room so it was about 80 degrees in the small room for the first hour or two of our meeting. Once he found the remote it was much more bearable. Once those hiccups were out of the way things went much smoother. I pre-printed the menu out for our guests, so they circled what they wanted for lunch, and I gave it to the kitchen so our lunch was ready at the exact time we broke for lunch. Kudos to the kitchen and restaurant for making the food part go smoothly! They had a table ready for us and the food as delicious. Wait staff was excellent. It was convenient to have a restaurant on site and not have to leave for lunch. Overall, the hotel seems to have recently (or still?) undergone a remodel/upgrade. There was a crew working on landscaping in the back courtyard area and the inside of the hotel seemed to be recently freshened up (although the decor was a bit odd, maybe it was just me. There were some new funky colors and furniture pieces mixed with what looked like cheap decor items you would find at WalMart, it definitely didn't flow...) The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the room had a microwave and fridge (yay for a place to store leftovers!) No complaints there, and it was about $77/night, not bad. Large pool but no hot tub. And you can definitely hear the trains going by. No horns, but the frequent rumble may keep a light sleeper awake, just sayin! So, all in all, it could have gone better/smoother but it wasn't a total trainwreck. Maybe it's just because they are in transition? I do have to say the manager made it a point to sit down with me to address the issues that were coming up and worked to make things smoother, as did Shasta, and I do appreciate that. Thanks guys. Just as constructive criticism, I think the hotel staff can work on better communication between themselves and the event hosts. Thanks! read more

The front desk clerk was nice and helpful. After that everything went down hill. After two hard days of driving I wanted to get a drink from the bar to take to the room. They won't do that but I could stay and listen to the band that was coming in and drink in there. And then there was the room. First thing I noticed after coming back from getting ice (only one ice machine for a large motel) I tried to lock my door and the dead bolt would not work, I'll use a chair tonight. Then I got out my computer and there is no plug available anywhere near the desk. And there was no wifi instructions when I checked in so had to call the front desk to get it. Then looked for a guide to the TV channels, not one in the room and no information on the hotel or the town or emergency needs or anything except a flyer on how "green" they are. The room itself was fine for the price and has been upgraded in the not too distant past. I have stayed in the hotel twice in the last three years and didn't seem to have any of these problems.
