a Good Bathroom, hot hot water decent pressure

Covid Road Trip - It's ah well...what do you think honey, kind of look to the place. the lobby is a bit sketch, tired is a good adjective too...humm...how much for two queens? the kid gave me a "look"...beds I mean...no smoking and upstairs too if you have one. I ask for an upstairs room in the hotels that were built thirty or forty years ago, experience. The nephew assured me the rooms were good, clean sheets? yes. Good water pressure? yes. nice shitter? yes. hum... how much then? $45, Ok book it, thanks. The room was great! Terrific mattress, new larger size refrigerator with a freezer for blue ice. New microwave, new flat screen, newly remodeled and tiled bathroom. Hey best deal we found. No free breakfast but Calico's is across the street we had dinner and breakfast there, good place too. We slept well shower pressure was real good, towels would be my only complaint. Towels too small and too thin, I think we had better in gym. The furniture was a bit tired but ya know it didn't matter. I got exactly what I wanted and I was a happy camper! P.S. Don't dive into the pool! foodguy-martin

    Queen sized bed

Rooms were recently remodeled, but the exterior looked weathered. Bed provided a nice balance of cushioning and support. Staff was friendly. Coffee and Tea is available from 6:30 to 9:30am. You want breakfast?? Sorry, that is no longer provided. Bottom Line: a good value for your money.

For the location and our situation, this place was good. The initial smell of the on again, off again AC was a bit off putting, but it dissipated over time. The beds were firm, but there were two of them and they were both queen size. Inside there was a Flat screen TV, surprisingly fast Wi-fi and all the bedding and towels looked and felt clean and organized. Free coffee and pastries from Svenhardt's. It was perfect for passing through after 4 days of camping through UT and AZ. And most importantly, the price was right for Labor Day weekend where other places were charging an arm and a leg. I would look this place up again if i needed a one night stay passing through Kingman again.

Cheap and passable. 35 bucks for a Friday night. The sheets were clean, but I had my doubts about the blanket.

No offer of a discount or even an apology. So, enjoy your one star review and all of the free information that I'm giving to better inform possible future customers.... First off, I was in the cleaning industry for over 25 years and I know the difference between a clean room and a dirty one within seconds. So, I took the liberty to fully inspect the room and I made notes for this review. We spent over $200 for one night and it's honestly top five of the nastiest rooms I've ever stayed in. Upon walking into the room, the air in the room even felt dirty so, I knew I was going to have a bad night. There was a fly infestation in our bottom level hotel room, we killed at least 12 flies in the room on the one night that we stayed there. We came in from dinner and I saw multiple rooms with their doors wide open, the tenants were smoking in the doorways of their rooms, and they had their crusty clothes drying on the railings, not a good look. The hotel felt very unsafe, type of hotel you don't want to walk around at night. Sheets were musty and not fresh. Towels were rough and stained. Shower curtain was moldy. Three extremely long black straight hairs were all over the shower chair. Crusted blue soap on the shower soap dish and shower hose. Hair all over the shower floor. Poop crusted in the toilet bowl. Blood on the comforter. Stains all over the furniture. Dusty tables. Dirty refrigerator with food particles all in it. But, what made me the most upset was the dirty floor. There was no carpet in the room, so the main flooring was vinyl. It was never vacuumed or mopped before we checked in. I know this because, I made three passes in my white socks from the bathroom area to the couch to move our luggage and my socks turned black with dirt and grime immediately. After the kids took their showers they walked from the bathroom to their bed and their feet were black with dirt. Thankful I always bring towels from home so, we used the spare hotel towels to make a pathway for them to walk on to the bathroom. The level of filthiness in this hotel room could have made my family and I extremely sick. We were so turned off by our stay here that we didn't even eat at the free breakfast buffet. We had a long drive home, it would have been very annoying to have gotten diarrhea. Needless to say, my family and I will never stay here again. If anyone ever asked me what hotel to avoid in the area, I'll mention yours.

Absolute Garbage. I…read morebooked a "large king room with a sofa bed" and was immediately met with problem after problem. When we arrived, the front desk informed us that the entire building of room had no heat - the heating components were out of order -- and with nighttime temps dipping into the low 40s, that was completely unacceptable. I asked if they had any alternative options, and we were offered a "handicapped king suite with a sofa bed." We accepted, hoping it would at least meet the basic description of what we booked. When we got to the room, we quickly realized the "sofa bed" was not a sofa bed at all. It was a tiny, uncomfortable couch (as pictured below). I went right back to the front desk to explain the issue, only to be told that they don't actually have sofa beds at all -- just couches that "people sleep on." Completely misleading and unacceptable. On top of that, the king bed was extremely soft, sagging, and offered zero support. The entire room felt old, outdated, and neglected. After just 30 minutes of trying to make it work, we checked out and found a different hotel. Save yourself the headache. This place is absolutely not worth your time or money.

But the aftermath of it; constant messages that our dog was "loud" and barking. We came back to calm her down and sing the pet policy and pay the charge. Well we did that and went to the Grand Canyon. We then get texted that the dog is loud and that someone even called the cops. They even kicked us out. And then try to add charges on top of charges. Like if the manager Veronica went on a personal hiatus. Well, this is a very first. We asked a few neighbors about the dog, and they said that they never heard anything. This Veronica lady needs a husband and kids. And fun. Someone take her out please. For the sake of all humans and pets. Thank you. The staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast is the standard hotel fare, but it was well stocked and hot and there were staff members regularly checking the dining room and tidying up. The negative. The hotel was much dirtier than I usually experience, even at the lower cost Holiday Inn branded locations. The room looked clean on the surface but walking barefoot on the carpet resulted in black feet within just minutes. It made a room that otherwise looked clean feel dirty. The lobby and common areas weren't any better. Ice machines were broken on our floor and trash and stored items were visible in multiple common areas. I left a similar review on the IHG website. Again praise to the staff, but ownership needs to pay more attention before they lose business.
