After driving 5 hours to Glendale, my husband and I check into our room. We hauled all of our belongings into the room. When we open the door the first thing we noticed was that the bed was unmade and there were towels on the floor. Naturally I called the front desk. We had to haul all of our things back into the car and go to the front office. The front desk supervisor placed us in a different room. So we hauled our belongings into the new room. The moment we opened the door we knew something was wrong. It was ridiculously hot! Everything is dingy and outdated. I know Phoenix in the summer but even with the cooler at its lowest temperature, the room was humid and hot. My husband then had to kill about four crickets, and finally we went to bed because we were exhausted. The following morning I woke up to a bug crawling into my mouth. I jumped out of bed and freaked out and smacked my own face to get the bug off. We did go down and tell the front desk. At this point I was instructed to email the general manager Misty to see what kind of reimbursement my husband and I could get. Keep in mind that at no point in time did I ask for financial reimbursement. In my email to the general manager all I asked was what could be done. One week after we stayed at this hotel I still had no communication from the general manager. I attempted to speak with her three different times but every time I called her staff would tell me they didn't know when she would be in. Finally I just called Wyndham customer care. July 19 was my first phone call with them and they did instruct me to wait one more week for her response. One week passed, so yesterday I tried calling the location. Again she was not available until after 2 PM. At about 330 I called back and I was told that she was not there today and nobody knows her schedule. Instead of repeating myself to the staff at the location I proceeded to call customer care again. This time I voiced my opinion about how horrible customer service was from a general manager! Now my husband and I are currently waiting for a customer care to reimburse us. We had to forward the email I sent Misty with pictures of our bank statement. I mean this is CRAZY! I've never had such a crappy experience with Wyndham! After my phone call with customer care yesterday at around 5 o'clock The general manager Misty decided to send me an email stating she could not reimburse me for anything and she was sorry for her lack of communication. I wish that my husband and I would have read reviews before booking here. Shortly after our wedding about five years ago we stayed at this exact location and we were completely satisfied. Everything that has been pointed out in every other review is completely true and my husband and I will never stay at this location again!!!! read more

Unfortunately a bad review for this place. So basically, we drove to Arizona to catch an NFL game and decided to do a 1 nighter. I chose Ramada because I've stayed at a beautiful Ramada in Washington before and thought they were all the same. Clearly I was mistaken.. they are individually owned!! So any who's, when we checked in the first room they put us in had a clogged toilet... so I called the front to request a fix or a new room. I should have known something was wrong when I over heard on the phone someone in the background also complaining about their toilet clogged. Yikes! The front desk offered us a new room, and instead of them delivering the new room keys I had to go all the way back to the front and get them my self... and move to... the MOST disgusting pathetic hotel room I've ever seen in my life! But, we were so exhausted, at this point it's around 11pm and we r tired, and was not about to see what another room would look like. So we dealt with it and decided to take it up with management the following morning at check out. It was so terrible, I slept with the lights on in hopes it'll keep any possible critters away. See photos to see what I mean. Fast forward to the morning.. I go to the front desk and ask for the manager... Showed her pictures of the room and how disappointed we were. Turns out.. a night MANAGER knew how terrible the rooms is but rents it out anyway. Being a manager herself, she also tells me she "cleaned" our room herself so she knows it's clean... Ew! Shame on her! I showed her pics and she was speechless. But, She was nice and was patient with my rants. So she can have that 1star I'm forced to rate. She also explained their renovations keep being delayed. Poor woman is gona have to deal with unhappy guests for a looooong time. In conclusion... I didn't want anything comp'd... I just needed her to understand that these rooms are unacceptable and to not ever rent that room EVER AGAIN! And throw all that crap furniture away!!! I realize we went cheap this trip but close proximity to tomorrow's appointments won out and it is a Ramada, right. Our room wasn't vacuumed, I had to request and then go seek out hand towels. The tissue box was empty and we're afraid to walk barefoot on the carpet - yuk. The ceiling is sagging and about to crumble over sink area. Whoever made the beds didn't care how they looked - skirts all tucked up under top mattress - extreme lack of pride and poor service. Ramada & Wyndham have their names on this place??? Shocking to me. I'm curious if the popcorn ceilings have ever been inspected for asbestos? Pure skank at it's best. Enter at own risk. Horrible experience experience, and even after multiple complaints to staff, nothing was done. Cigarette burns in the bedding, refrigerator was broken, shower curtain had what looked like a giant bloodstain on it, asked for a towel (was only given 2 for 4 night stay) and came back to our door wide open with no staff in sight. We had been gone but for hours and who knows how long it had been open for. Towel was replaced with the sameness dirty one on the floor (folded it up damp), shower curtain was not replaced. Breakfast was horrible and exercise room that was advertised online was closed. It said it was undergoing maintenance but was clearly being by used for storage. AWFUL experience!!! Where to begin. . I am writing this review for my experience July 9th, 2017. After driving over 6 hours from California with my mom all we wanted to do was relax in a clean, cool, and comfortable room. Oh man. I drive to the hotel a little before check in time, arrived at 1, check in at 3. I was told my Misty I had to wait. Understandable. They are located in a prime location. You literally cross the parking lot and you're at the mall. 3 o'clock rolls around. .time to check in. There's a couple ahead of me asking for various bar advice and where to get cheap drinks, a young male and then myself. The young black lady at the desk was new, really kind too. .then some suspect looking guy comes inside and cuts the line as the male in front of me is checking in. He's very sketchy acting. I thought he was a wanderer from the street looking to buy something to drink. Nope. He was staying there. Spilling out his whole life story about how he wanted to change rooms again because his phone was working and he couldn't call his family. . Mind you, I'm trying to check in. He extends his body over the desk and I stay a good 20 feet back. .finally Misty comes to assist him and the other lady, sorry I can't recall your name, helps me. Check in was smooth and she was informative. To the room. We are on the second floor and as we enter the door creaks and I wait for a it twist. Nothing to rave at first sight beside the flat screen tv. We take a tour of cleanliness . Beds. No. Looks as if they sheets were not changed from the last stay. The bed my mom had, had food stains, strands of hair and other novelties. My bed had small spots that appeared to be dry blood along with various strands of hair. *gag. Lysol them both to death and then whipped out extra pillow cases and towels to cover the bed. My bed was very. .squishy btw. The shower. No. Hell no. The tub portion was filthy with a black tint. The toilet bowl was dirty with residue or some Orange looking shit. The sink was dirty and well as the counter. I did not take pictures because I was too busy cleaning! The complementary shampoo etc was USED!! old food on the carpet too. The last day there at 4:40am the alarm goes off with a static blare! Then all of a sudden, the air conditioner decides to have a seizure and makes the most obnoxious noises imaginable. #TeamNoSleep Hm would I stay here again. I went to Arizona for Spring Training without booking a hotel prior to arrival. Ramada was $129 for 2 queen beds. The room is an average hotel room. I do not spend much time in hotel rooms, so that is fine with me. The towels were a bit.. tattered, which amused me. The hair dryer was definitely used by someone with black hair at some point and had some weird plastic thing (I hope it was just some weird plastic thing) stuck in it. But, again, don't care. It is extremely close to the Peoria Sports Complex, which was my first stop the next afternoon. It is in a strip mall that offers shuttle service to some baseball games during spring training. That makes this place awesome in my book! Again, if you are frou frou.. you may not be into this place. But, if you just want normal and average with no bugs or creepiness.. this is the place for you. read more

I only give one star for their customer service. The front desk people were very nice thats about it. Other than that the room was dirty! -Bed sheets were wrinkled (hmm it made us wonder if someone slept on them the night before) -As soon as we uncovered the bed sheets we saw hairs everywhere on the sheets! (so this probably made my above comment valid) I had to get "fresh" bed sheets from the front desk and change it myself! -The removable shower head fell on my while showering -Water pressure was EXTREMELY low! It took forever to finish showering -Bathtub was dirty ( I HAD TO CLEAN IT!) -Phone was not working -50% of the light bulbs in the bathrooms were burnt out -Towels were old (TIME TO GET NEW ONES!) -I didn't even bother to use the coffee machine because I saw small parts of mold where you add water to. -Oh, forget about the TV! It didn't even change channels. We had to do it manually and nothing was clear. -The alarm clock was defective. Not working. I wish we never stayed here! I must admit that it's not the fanciest of places. Should be upgraded ( the carpets replaced, flat screen TVs needed, furniture- totally 80's), however it is functional. The rooms come with a microwave and frig, which is real convenient for those who don't like to eat out all day every day. Complimentary breakfast is served (pretty yummy for being free). Hotel is located in the middle of everything! Mall is walking distance along with all kinds of restaurants and shops! We would definitely come back. read more

This place is the absolute worst. Disgusting! Every room smells like smoke, no toiletries, leaky faucets, they said they remodeled! They did then left nails on the floor to stab your feet on a cracked night stand that falls apart and a mirror with so much spayed paint on it you can see about half of yourself! The front desk acts like you are inconveniencing then by breathing! I've stayed here many times because of the price but it's not worth the savings any more! I'll stay at a place I can breath in and feel welcome at for $20 more. Now noticing the phone does not work. When I tried to call the 1800 Ramada # they refused to connect me to this location. And the lady at the front desk told me to walk across the street to the gas station for water and snacks..... gas station was closed like tearing it down closed. The absolute worst Ramada experience ever! Check in time was supposed to be at 3pm. My room was not available until 5pm. When i finally got inside, I was surprised to find my room was filthy. I booked this hotel because my usual chain was sold out and I thought I would give it a try. The front desk staff were really friendly and it looked okay from the outside. Unfortunately, the same was not in the rooms. The beds were in total disrepair, sheets were stained and dirty looking, one of the beds appeared to have a footprint on the comforter. The box springs were literally falling apart. The first thing I did was check for bedbugs. I have never felt I needed to do this in a hotel before and I travel every single week. I actually took photos of the conditions because I was so horrified that a reputable brand in a decent area would have such a rundown hotel. I even thought about checking out, but then decided I can "rough it" for just one night. Please let me know if you would like to see photos. I am truly disappointed. To begin the add on Expedia was very deceptive. I thought I was getting a room with 2queens in reality it was 2 doubles. The phone didn't work. The bathtub was awful and didn't drain. There weren't enough towels for 4 people. And the breakfast was mediocre at best. Would not recommend to anyone. And to end it the while back side parking (which is where our room was) was all blocked off and could not be used. read more

WORST HOTEL EVER! They are doing renovation. Okay that's cool and all. But you don't book someone in the room right below the renovation rooms. Got Rudely woken up by them doing demolition work to the tile and walls from the room above us, which all started at about 7am. When I asked the lady in the front to be moved rooms she said they are booked and can't do anything about it in the snobbiest way possible. Let's not forget this is thanksgiving weekend. One of the worst examples of customer service in my life! We were 40 minutes late checking out and they charged us a whole day again! This place is under renovation and I saw at least 3 rats in the 3 days we were there. They must be desperate for money to steal from someone that is in the middle of a move. To top it off when I asked to speak the manager the response I got from the sarcastic and rude front desk person was she is just going to tell you the same thing! Roaches, Dirt, Rude Staff, Mismanaged Stay away unless you like sleeping with roaches! The room was dirty: powders, a dead bug, chewing gum and a hairpin on floor for three days, large stains on carpet, popcorn between the cushions. There were no washcloths, and the outlet in the bathroom was dead. On day 2, the room was not serviced. The front desk offered towels, but neither apology nor regret. On day 3, I killed a large American Cockroach on the wall above the bed. It's carcass is likely still behind the nightstand. The phone stopped working. Staff showed no concern for the bug problem. I repeatedly asked to see the manager, but she was never available during mornings and late afternoons. I left both a note and a voice mail. I have yet to hear from her. I understand that problems happen. If the manager had spoken to me and made an effort to correct them, she could have prevented this complaint and one about to be filed with the BBB, demanding a refund. The lack of response from her only reaffirmed my impression that this location is sadly mismanaged. This was my third stay at this hotel and my last. I liked it for it's central location, but it has deteriorated into unacceptable. read more

I went to Arizona to watch some spring baseball and stayed at this hotel. The service was nothing special, they got me in and out. The bed was comfy. The room was a mess. My first complaint, white markings that looked like graffiti on the t.v. screen, graffiti on a chair and markings on the inner hotel door. The carpet had dark dirty spots and was old. I advised the hotel staff regarding the issues. Nothing was done. I should've left the hotel, but my son and I were so tired from a long, long day. Second, their free breakfast is very limited. I am very happy with my stay here at the Ramada. It's not super fancy but it's has everything you need. First the hotel room had air conditioning I got a king bed and it came with a sofa bed (queen) The room seemed clean everything and worked. It came with a small fridge and micro wave, flat screen tv. House keeping and the staff were very friendly. They have a pool that's heated it was about 5 ft (my daughters favorite part!!) We went to see the Padres spring training and this hotel is in the best location! Super close to the mall we could walk there and gps said it was 2 mins away. They had all kinds of stores walking distance Costco, in n out, target, Ross, Olive Garden, dollar tree, Walmart, mexican restaurant, deli, gas station, and much more! We walked to Peoria sports complex to see the Padres spring training game. I can not express how great this location is. We got there and did not move our car once!!! I would really recommend this hotel. They are honest and very friendly here. We did not spend most the time in the hotel but when we were there we were very relaxed and comfortable. The housekeeper did not clean our room. When I called to report it to the front desk I was told that they would have it cleaned tomorrow. I requested clean towels. I received two. I asked for one more towel as I am in a double room with two adults and one child. The woman at the front desk told me that the towels were in the dryer and she would "get to it when I get to it." The ironing board was broken and the dresser drawers are broken. The shower curtain rod droops so the shower curtain doesn't extend to both sides. I could go on, but you get the picture. I booked a room for 1 night. we were traveling with a dog and when I went to check in they would only allow me a "smoking room" at this point I just took the room since I was only in town 1 night....had I known this prior I wouldn't have done it. it was not worth the NASTY smoke smell. we only got 3 hours of sleep this night because of that and the fact that some people next door were having an all night party. I didn't complain because I didn't want to be the bad guy, but with only having 3 hours of sleep and had to be on the road again very early made me pretty upset. I don't understand why if you are traveling with a pet that you have to be PENALIZED and subject to a smoking only room! that was horrible and I will make sure to do my research before doing this again. NO WHERE on their site did it say that. read more

"under renovation" wall paper falling off the wall. stained bathroom sinks . hair left in shower from previous guest. the door has a nice gap that you can see outside , don't feel safe leaving anything of value in the room when you leave. Price gouge because of spring training , Hotel is not worth $60 a night let alone the $175 per night they are charging. & the Quailty Inn claims "oh we were bought in Dec we don't know why Ramada stil takes reservations" but yet they are still charging Ramada prices taking advantage of people. I would suggest canceling your trip if this is the only hotel available , save yourself the grief ,disappointment & hassle. read more

I have stayed at this location many times over the last couple years, and it has disappointed time and time again. The reason for the multiple stays is based on location and price. The last two stays have been the worst experience I've ever had at any hotel. On both occasions there where NO towels or toiletries. My fault for not looking, but I've never had to so I didn't even think to. The first time I called the front desk and ask for some to be delivered but they didn't have anyone at 10 am to bring them to my room. I had to go to the front desk to pick them up. Not cool for a basic room essential. On the last stay I arrived to my room at 4am(just got off work and the reason I stayed here), and woke up at 9:15am to get ready for my 10am shift to no towels or toiletries again. I tried to call the desk this time and the phone in my room didn't even work. I didn't have time at this point to go down and get thing for a shower. I brushed my teeth and used a bar of soap to clean up with. Used the sheets from the bed to dry off with, and headed to work. NEVER EVER AGAIN! read more

Stayed here with my son's travel baseball team over the weekend and checked out early. I couldn't stand to stay in this filth bucket a day longer. The walls and floors were filthy, there was a huge hole in the boxspring of the bed which made the bed sink low when on it. I bought my own blankets from Target because I refused to lay on their filthy blankets and sheets. The refrigerator and coffee maker did not work. I had to look for the cord for the phone in order to call the front desk. The two days I stayed, no one came to empty the trash or refill the towels or toilet paper. I had to do that service myself. To top things off, they overcharged me on my stay and it couldn't be resolved until the manager came on Monday. It's a hotel, there should always be a manager there to resolve these important issues ESPECIALLY on the weekends when most people typically travel. I have yet to get in touch with a manager to resolve the overcharge, they are always unavailable. They are overpriced for what they offer. Honestly this place should never charge more than $40 a night. read more

So before I get into the bad let me start with the people that did great customer service - Chloe from the Front End honestly made us stay. Whenever we brought an issue to her she would take care of it in a timely manner. Also Desmond the manager was very nice and wanted to make sure we had a great stay. When we checked in we didn't have a remote in our room and Desmond was super fast and ensured we had a remote. Also the girl that did the breakfasts in the beginning was super nice and helpful and ensured everything was filled. Lastly, there was a gentleman, African American tall and skinny he was attentive and also provided great customer. Now with the bad- Fran in the breakfast area would cuss and get mad when people didn't do something her way also leave for 20 mins without having thing filled so we had to grab it ourselves. One of the night managers ( I think, blonde Hispanic older) was absolutely rude and didn't care about how our light fell off the wall - it could have fell and hurt someone. Those two people honestly made the stay the worse. We also didn't get our room cleaned the first day and we asked the the night manager and didn't seemed to care -More bothersome. Also, when getting into our room we had to used water bottles and precious guest jackets in there. From the beginning I was thinking that we would come back to the same location next year for spring training and I'm going to be finding another location because of the issues we had... It's sad because of where it is located it is perfect for the what we were doing. read more

My husband and I stayed here for 5 days. This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We were here for a work function or we would never have stayed in this hotel. When we checked in the first night, we were given a room with an unmade bed, and towels all over the floor. We went back down to the lobby and the manager quickly put us in a new room. This one was filthy. Sheets were dirty, and we waited while the manager put clean,sheets on the bed. We only had one towel and had to get more. This was at 7:30 at night. The next day, the maid asked if we wanted the room cleaned, and since there were hairs left on the bathroom floor and the counters from the night before when we checked in, we said yes please. The bathroom smelled like urine also. She walked in and put clean towels in, made the bed and left. No vaccuum, no wiping down of the counters or floors, or toilet or tub. The following day, she gave us towels. That was it. And for the next three days, they never came to the room at all. We complained and asked if someone could service the room and were told that they would send someone up right away. No one ever came. There was no shampoo or conditioner, and only one small bar of soap. For 2 people for five days. I had read the reviews, and thought maybe they were exaggerated. They were not. The hotel is in desperate need of renovation. We were told this is underway, starting with the lobby. They need to start with the rooms. Very old, and run down. Mattress was unbelievably old and uncomfortable. Carpets are staIned. All in all just dirty and disgusting. We would have left the first night, but because it was a work funtion, we had no other choice. But we will never stay here again. read more

PLEASE STAY AWAY. We stayed there for Spring Training and left after 5 days into our 7 day stay. 1. Supposedly the room had just been updated which explained why the room had not been made up, there were no towels or any of the lamps plugged in. We went back to the office to get towels and was told that they were all out but would have some from the cleaners in a couple of hours! We went to dinner and when we got back they still didn't have any. Finally went back again at 10:00 and was given a couple of wimpy towels and a floor mat. 2. The curtains were mis-matched so there was a 2" gap that couldn't be closed. Since we are not exhibitionists we had to go and buy paper clamps to hold them closed. 3. The TV didn't work, the electrical outlet next to the sink was falling out of the wall, the toilet ran, etc etc 4. We only received fresh towels and maid service after asking and when they didn't even do that and they didn't have any towels again we told them that we wanted to cancel our stay. They said sure you can do that, but you will have to pay for the next night because you didn't tell us before the check out time! Worst hotel experience ever. This place is filthy. Bathtub was black. Carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. We didn't spend much time in our room because we were visiting in-laws that weekend, but when we came back after the first day there was someone else's sunglasses on one of the beds and corona caps under the bed. Breakfast was a joke. Only consisted of carbs, didn't even have a banana. I will not return. Disgusting!! read more

my brother stayed here 1/28/16 over night-- he usually never complains!!. there were holes in the walls, washclothes for towels( no towels at all). the sheets kept slipping off the mattress and the mattress smelled of smoke! the floors were disgusting and dirty. the continental breakfast was coffee and hard rolls. i will never ever recommend this hotel to my worst enemy hence-- no stars. if you value your health and want to be able to take a shower with a real towel-- go somewhere else!!! filthy.... read more
