I have absolutely loved everything. I have eaten here. I'm a pescatarian so it's usually hard to find good seafood. Even the house salad and dressing are amazing. The grilled fish tacos, Chilaquiles, the grilled shrimp dish all are my favorites. It's hard to choose every time I go. My husband loves the Carne Asada every way it come. The service was good, the food wasn't that good. The salsa they serve as an appetizer with chips tastes like refrigerador. We had breakfast, i ordered the #5 American breakfast combo and my eggs were swimming in oil, i also ordered them medium well and there were pieces of the egg white that weren't cooked at all, it looked like boogers came flooding out when i cut them open. I've eaten here 3 times now. You know how they say sometimes the "hole in the wall" places are the best? Well, this might qualify. It's not quite a hole in the wall, but it is a bit dated and in an older building for sure. The 1st time, I just got a 3 item combo. 2 different tacos and a chili relleno. The tacos were great. Lots of filling and the shells were nice and crunchy. Nothing special about the relleno though. Nothing wrong with it, just didn't stand out in any way. I am a bit of a relleno snob though. 2nd time in, couldn't help but do Taco Tuesday. At $2 a pop, what more could I ask for. Well, I could have asked for a little more filling/meat but at $2 each, no problem. My experience has been most restaurants cut back on the tacos when they're on special or they make them so small, they're at most 3 bites per. These were very good and a helluva $2 value. Try the potato taco. 3rd time in was last night. It was a quiet Wednesday and I decided I wanted to try the Mole Enchiladas. I've never had Mole and the waiter was kind enough to bring me a sample of the sauce. I liked it enough to give it a try. Holy crap was that a good dish! The enchiladas had a good amount of chicken in them and the Mole sauce wasn't overpowering. I could taste a little heat, the chocolate in the sauce and the chicken. I'll definitely be ordering that again. Chips and salsa are beyond average. The chips came out warm and the salsa is one of the best I've had at any of the local Riverside Mexican restaurants. This place is a hot mess, place really needs a good cleaning, I ordered something to go over the phone not knowing what the place looked like, I got a combo with a taco and enchilada and a cup of albondiga soup, well the combo was ok, the beans not so much...the albondiga soup was gross, greasy and it smelled like dirty armpit, so gross did not even taste it based on the foul smell. Finally tried this place was tired of the usual over priced Mexican places. Shredded beef had great flavor as well as the chile relleno. My wife never likes Mexican rice other then homemade. Stopped by for Friday lunch after hearing many good things about this place. I wasn't disappointed. Good food, good service and clean. Standard Mexican fare, done well. Good salsa! The combo plates come with beans, rice, soup or salad. Makes for added value. I asked for pozole to start but was told it wasn't 'ready'. Okay bring me the albondigas. Flavorful broth, just a bit too salty. I had the fish fillet with shrimp, corn tortillas, beans and rice. Good but not great. The fillet was thin and not much flavor, it was cooked well and the sauce made up for it. Corn tortillas were also thin and store bought. The shrimp were smaller than I would like but had good flavor. Service was excellent and kept the meal flowing with refills and chips. The rest of the party had cheese enchiladas, carnitas burritos and crispy shredded and ground beef tacos. All really good! With Olivia's across the street and 100 Mexican restaurants around the city, Ramiro's formula for success will keep it near the top. read more

After passing this corner restaurant for years, my husband I finally stopped and had breakfast and what a breakfast it was! I had the Chilaquiles and my husband had Marthas Special Breakfast. My husband just said it "knocked his socks off" it was just so good. My Chilaquiles were absolutely delicious and the salsa was very tasty. They sure didn't lack on the portion size either. Found a little mom and pop authentic mexican food restaurant that is definitely worth the price and the quality of food was excellent. Chile Verde was nice and spicy ! Also they do Tamales and you are able to order by the dozen. Martha and Ramiro could use all the support in this time of Covid-19 since they are a small business that is struggling due to all the regulations that are in place . I went here for lunch and ordered a taquito plate with rice beans and an ice tea. The ice tea was VERY bitter . I told the waitress and instead of offering me something else or removing the item from the ticket she INSISTED on "fixing it". When she brought the tea back in was so diluted with water. So , basically I paid $3.50 for a glass of water. Also, the taquitos were stuff with burnt beef, the rice and bean were cold with no flavor. I left most of the food, it was not edible in my opinion.
