Absolutely Amazing! Heard about YeYe's on social media. I've relatively close, so I was excited to try them. The service was outstanding A+ . Arrived during dinner rush and was greeted immediately by the hostess behind the cash register. We were promptly seated and given menus. Served refreshments and complimentary chips and salsa. Their salsa was fresh and had a bold flavor, with just the right kick. After putting in our orders the establishment started to get a dinner rush, but the staff was on their game. Everyone seated in a timely manner, didn't see anyone have to wait. When we recieved our food I was taken back by how big the servings were. Got the Fire Burrito, and shared so Asada Fries. WoW! Food was amazing and had a distinct flavor. Not your ordinary Asada fries, these had a unique flavor in every bite. The burrito was one of a kind. Smothered in cheese and filled Hot Cheetos and your choice of protein. Meat was tender and succulent. I will Definitely return for another meal, and will be bringing a few with me. I had an amazing experience at Yeye's Kitchen and had to share how good the food was--especially their chilaquiles and burritos de chile relleno. The chilaquiles were absolutely delicious. The chips were perfectly coated in sauce without getting soggy, and the flavor was rich, authentic. But the real standout for me was the burrito de chile relleno. It was packed with flavor--the chile was perfectly cooked, the filling was savory and satisfying, and everything came together so well inside the burrito. It's not something you find done this well everywhere, and it definitely left an impression. On top of the great food, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. You can tell they take pride in what they do. If you're craving authentic Mexican food, Yeye's Kitchen is a must-try. I'll definitely be coming back for those chilaquiles and that incredible chile relleno burrito! read more

We order the Molcajete it was very very good, first of all great presentation smelt delicious, and very, very good! But I am sorry to say the only thing that was missing which it was supposed to be in there was the Nopels! That was the one thing he noticed halfway through that was missing. My daughter sent me their videos from IG and so I decided to make it a mother daughter trip. We are an hour away from the place but honestly we weren't disappointed. There is plenty of parking. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately greeted and asked if it was a to go order or if it was dine in. Once we said it was dine in, we were asked to sit anywhere. I would say that the inside is clean it's brand new so nothing looks rundown or old. I ordered the papa Loca with Asada. Since it's a giant potato I feel like it needs a little bit more sauce only because the potato although it shouldn't be the only star of the show, it is quite overpowering for what is put on top. But I will say that what helped it was the quality of their meat. The asada was quite flavorful and they are generous with it. I did go to their salsa bar and they only have two sauces which in my personal taste and opinion needed more flavor more spice level and some salt. I should mention the salsa bar also has cucumber, radishes, plenty of limes, and I believe ketchup packets. No salt. Would have wanted some of that but I'm sure if you ask the ladies they will provide it. My daughter ordered the hot Cheeto burrito with asada. She loved it!! She finished it all up! The cheese sauce that is spread all over was so good it is like a mild spicy level nacho sauce. I will say it reminded a lot of the grilled cheese burrito at Taco Bell. It's one of my faves. Except this has excellent top tier carne asada of course. I will end it by saying that this place is worth a visit if you're definitely close by. I don't regret driving the hour because it was still an experience with my daughter and we had a good time. I do feel like it just needs a few retouches on some of the items that I was able to try so it tastes more authentically Mexican. read more

Dined here 5/6 11:30am. I don't understand their hours of operation. They have very few breakfast items and open at 7 AM during the week and 9 AM on weekends. The chips taste like they're out of a bag versus freshly fried. The diced meat is clearly out of a bag pre-cut and preseasoned. The rice and beans taste bagged also. It sucks because we could use a good authentic, Mexican food restaurant nearby. This was a chance for them to showcase their food and sadly we will not be back. With how slow it was (we were the only ones there), the front door glass could've been wiped, the salsa bar could've used a wipe also as well as the middle table that seemed dusty from the ceiling. The girl working was kind, but the food did not sell it for us. We'd rather go across the street to Flat Top Bar and Grill for their fresh homemade chips and salsa. I saw this place advertised on social media and it looked really good so I had to pull up and try it. Well I can't lie, I was very disappointed. I ordered the chilaquiles burrito. Firstly, they charge $4 on top of the price advertised if u add meat even though it says it comes with it,so the $13 turned into $19 and that makes no sense. 2nd the burrito wasn't very flavorful. The seasoning of the meat wasn't great and the egg was flavorless. And the burrito fell apart on me but they did give me a fork and knife. The food wasn't nasty just not much flavor. It's very unfortunate because I thought I was going to like this place. The salsa bar is legit I will give them that and it's really nice inside, but I doubt I'll be returning. read more

I decided to stop in the other day to try this new place and everything was great. It was really nice inside, very clean, and the employees were friendly and helpful. I ordered a carne asada burrito, 2 carne asada tacos and 1 chicken taco. There was also a salsa bar to the side where you could help yourself to salsas/chilis/cucumbers/etc. The burrito came with rice, beans, meat, cilantro and onion. It was a decent sized burrito, and came with some chips on the side. I do wish it had a little more meat in it. I'll probably ask for extra next time. The tacos were good too. I really enjoyed the flavor of chicken taco best - cooked perfect and had great flavor. And the red and green salsas were both really good too. I did see they have a chili relleno burrito on their menu, and I look forward to trying it out next time! read more

We tried the pastor, chicken and carne asada tacos, they are street taco size but packed with meat, and the carne asada burrito was decently sized. It's an a location. We're always excited to try new spots that pop up in Riverside, since it's home. It's a smaller location in one of the newer developments on Van Buren in the Woodcrest area. Though small, the inside is cute and trendy with the neon signage layered over foliage. I particularly liked the bathroom lol and I'm sure you can see why in the photos. The employees were very nice and welcoming. We ordered the chilaquile burrito (green, but you have a choice of red or green), the chile relleno plate (comes with two chile rellenos, rice n beans), the carne asada fries, an horchata, and a jamaica. We ordered to go at the counter and waited about 25 minutes or more for the food. The lady at the counter made sure we had our drinks while we waited, which was much appreciated. We didn't mind the wait too much, hoping that meant everything was homemade (within reason, of course). The presentation was was nice, even in the to go containers. The beans were tasty and they give you a choice of the cheese on top. The rice, chilaquile burrito, and chile relleno were a bit bland. The fries were perfectly cooked, the asada was well seasoned, and the chipotle sauce was SO good. The fries weren't the seasoned fries we saw on the menu video, so that was disappointing because it was one of the reasons we ordered those. It was our first time there, so I'm not sure if they ran out or changed it. They were still really good, though. The jamaica was good and not too sweet. The horchata seemed homemade but had a bit too much cinnamon for my taste. The food is moderately priced and they have desserts as well. If I could give this place 1 million stars I would Not only is the food so fresh it looks and taste so good. The Agua Fresca is like nothing I've ever tasted. It is fresh not a lot of sugar but taste like there is and it's made from scratch with true authentic Mexican flavor. They are some of the nicest people I have ever met You feel like family when you walk in this place I will definitely be coming back here. If your restaurant is full, theres a line to the door, and guest seated waiting over 25 minutes for their food. You should not be bagging a phone order or delivery. Finally got around to trying this place. And I'm writing this review only based off the Carne asada burrito. I'm going to be tough on this review because this place only specializes in 3 meats total. Carne asada, Pastor, and chicken. If you are going to limit yourself to 3 meats then I expect for those 3 meat recipes to be great as it will reflect the taste of most of the food. Everything in the burrito was delicious except the carne asada. The carne asada wasn't bad but it wasnt great. More forgettable. To be honest, the random taco stands down the street have better flavor. Just my opinion, but the recipe needs more flavor, it needs to be 4-5 stars worth of deliciousness for it to prosper. My pops had the chilequiles burrito , which he said was good but just had the same issue and couldn't taste the carne asada. So if you like chilaquiles, then give this a try. Despite all the great reviews, I was a bit disappointed with their policy regarding your choice of including of any one of 3 meats in their dishes. Not the meat itself but in the measly amount. The food is really tasty. I've done takeout and dine-in, and the service both times has been fantastic. They're brand new, locally-owned and family-run. My favorites are the tacos de pollo, but I've heard great things from dining partners about their quesadillas and burritos too. The inside of the restaurant restaurant is basic, but fun with some neon signs and a few larger tables to seat groups. We ordered two chili rellano with chicken burritos. Nothing fancy, not even with a topping (wet style) and one drink. First, those burritos were delicious. The sizes were typical. I wouldn't say "large" but sufficient. The service was excellent and very friendly. Small dining area inside and a couple of tables outside. Here's the tough part. The bill was $50.00. Each burrito was $16 plus another $4 for chicken. More $$ if you want a different protein. The drink was $5. The rest is tax. I left a tip putting it over $50, but the bottom line is simple. Can a small family run business stay in business if I can get a full service restaurant meal at your favorite place for less? If price is not an issue for you, enjoy the food and service. Their costumer service from maybe the manager or owners daughters who knows? Is not only a snob but cheap. She is the taller slim light skin lady. We went in around 6:30, she said no more cucumbers for the rest of the day to her staff as she went over the salsa bar even though there was no more and they put no more green salsa either even though they were OUT. Since they want to be so cheap about their salsa bar maybe they should put it away instead since the restaurant is so tiny as it is. So. She messed up my order and said I didn't order it like that even though I repeatedly did. We ate in thank goodness or I would of drove home and never came back. She rolled her eyes and yelled at the staff. I ordered a plate to go for my husband and asked for salsa to go since there was no more left at the salsa bar and didn't get any in my bag. Darn I should of checked my bad but it would of happened if I would of been able to get some must from the salsa bar.
