I came here off of the recommendation of a friend who is Israeli. He said the food is delicious and decided to give it a try. They have a bunch to offer with different variations and substitutions for food which I like. I tried a swarma with everything on it (the right way, haha) and it was delicious. It tasted fresh, meat was cooked well, delicious flavours, and perfectly stuffed in the pita pocket. Not sloppy either, yet plenty of a tahini spread inside. The staff were attentive and quick to prepare the order. The only thing I didn't care for was the boureka. It could have been hotter (inside was a bit cool). I never had them before but was especting them to be lighter and flakier. It was too stodgy and doughy for me. But I'd consider coming back for another swarma and other menu items. read more

Rami's has easily become one of my favorite establishments to stop by whenever I crave a dense but clean protein-packed meal. With their food quality and efficient service consistent throughout all my visits for the past two years, it really doesn't take much to convince me to drop what I'm doing and beeline right straight here. I love their stuffed pitas but nothing delights me more than the Rami's special, which just combines everything I love laid out nicely on a plate with a warm pita on the side. The pita was fluffy in all of its glory and was a sturdy vehicle if you wanted to turn your plate into a pita. Satisfied my cravings! Food was great and service was fast. The kebab meat was juicy and the pita was absolutely stuffed. I appreciated how much was packed in (almost couldn't finish it!). The pickles had a nice crunch and the hot sauce added a nice kick at the end. I wish there were more hot sauce or if I ordered it on the side instead to incorporate into every bite. Literally everything it ate was great i highly recommend this joint if you are visiting Brookline in Boston. Some of you may be wondering why did I not give them five stars. I would have given them another half if I could but yelp won't allow me. The only down fall was the size of the plate and the price. The plate was too small and it felt like everything was on top of each other. I also got a potato Boorekas, which was really good. My total with a Bottle of water was over $18.00. I am kosher and frequently get lunch or dinner from here. I also ordered catering once for a Shabbat dinner. I usually order the turkey or chicken shwarma. I frequently order the grilled chicken shawarma salad plate with hummus. The pita and hummus are amazing! It is very pricey but fairly normal for kosher meat and they really load up the plate with meat. You will leave very full and satisfied. The seating area is small but you never wait too long for a table. Be mindful of the hours because they are shomer Shabbat - they close early on Fridays and are closed on Saturday. read more

My first experience with Rami's was a couple of years ago at their food truck (now ChikChak truck), which really impressed me. I knew that if I came back to Boston I'd want to get some of their amazing Israeli food again. This time I went to their restaurant in Brookline and it did not disappoint. I ordered the kebab, falafel, hummus and salad plate (to go), with pita and baklava. I maintain that they have the best pita. Ever. It's so so so good. Their falafel is perfectly seasoned and delicious also. The kebabs though, are equally amazing: Juicy, flavorful and cooked perfectly. Rami's has cemented its status in my mind as the place to go for kosher food in Boston. I've tried other places but they just don't compare.
