First time coming here after moving into an apartment in the area. We went into order and waited 15-20 minutes for a large pizza and cheesy garlic bread. We only met the "Brother" - didn't catch his name - but super nice! None of the staff wore masks though. We ordered half of each signature specials and both were very good. Personally, I liked the Brother's Special a little more because it was a little less heavy but both were very very good. Not too greasy or salty. The garlic bread, however, was a little bit too salty and still quite spicy like eating raw garlic. Tossed it into the air fryer for a little bit and it was better, but still salty. Our new favorite local spot! As we worked on moving into the neighborhood we found this gem of a resturant nearby and visited good 2-3 times so far. Each time their quality was great, their service was quick for fresh hot food it averagely took maybe 15 minutes at most. Plus they have such a variety of items on the menu I can't wait to try more! Covid-19 precautions: As we arrived masks mandates were lifted in most if not all areas especially for vaccinated citizens so while workers did not wear masks some customers continued to do so when ordering. Inside: There's a good amount of space usually a lot of seating available, and a great casual spot to grab a quick meal on the go or sit down and enjoy your meal with no rush. Service: We visited 3 times so far and each time despite how busy they were we always got friendly and quick service. Food & Price: It's hard to mess up token items like pizza so we had to order cheese and pepperoni combos. Two slices and a drink for $5? Their prices are very affordable which I will be taking full advantage of on a student salary! We also ordered a chicken kabob meal chicken parm over garlic bread sandwhich and falafel wrap the next time. It's important important note their portions are big and there's a good chance you may even have leftovers. Finally followed by breakfast bagel sandwich one morning. All of it was made fresh, hot, and delicious! The taste especially of the Mediterranean food was amazing, some of the best we've had yet! I grew up eating a lot from this shop and tbh it's changed a lot. I ordered food though grubhub and not only was it cold but the quality of the buffalo wrap lacked especially being served on multiple pieces of pita and the chicken was bland. The caesar salad was good though which is annoying because you could've used the same chicken for the buffalo wrap. This is probably my last visit. read more

Charlie's is always so welcoming to all! I love coming here with the full family and chowing down on some great grub. I have some amazing memories from here, from when I was younger and I want to continue giving those memories to my kids as well. The kids obviously love the place nearly as much as I do and I think that in due time they'll come to love it just as much as I do. I think the food here while not gourmet never disappoints, it always hits the perfect spot! The service is incredible, and the staff are always so friendly to everyone. It's a perfect place to bring the kids as well and make some amazing memories. I can't talk about how great and welcoming the restaurant is and I always feel welcome there and feel like I'm a friend to many of the wait staff. Their customer service is great. When they were out of baklava they called immediately to let me know so I could get a refund or replacement and all deliveries have come very quickly. The pizza is delicious, one of my favorite in the area. It's a Greek style pie with a sweeter sauce and a lot of cheese with a thick crust. I usually just get a small cheese pizza and that's good enough for a dinner. I've also gotten the wings and they are fried perfectly and addictingly good. I recently got the supreme pizza and I wasn't a fan. The toppings didn't taste that fresh and seemed to overpower the pizza. Now I know to stick with my cheese pizza which can't be beat. read more

I'm a regular at Charlie's since I just happen to live around the corner from them. They're open late nights and it's especially helpful when I get a pizza craving at an odd hour. Their cheese pizza is pretty good, one of the better ones in the area I think, but it's hard to really get a fantastic pizza around here, especially compared to New York, where I'm originally from. The workers are funny and nice. I always see them joking around. Their mozz sticks taste frozen :( made me sad, but it's alright. I guess it really does depend on what you order. read more

They allow me to enjoy the most flavorful creations I can come up with and they are all named "Germain's special". Today I created a bowl consisting of burger meat with mushrooms, peppers, onions, spinach in a garlic butter sauce. Topped with romaine lettuce cucumber, olives, and fetta cheese. Just ordered from here with my girlfriend. We ordered a Mediterranean pizza with pepperoni. The pizza arrived on time but the quality was severely lacking. The toppings were all ice cold even though the pizza was warm, and our pizza didn't even have pepperoni, even though we paid an extra $2 for it. Also, the tomatoes on the pizza were literally entirely green. The crust was mushy and barely cooked, on the whole the pizza was bland and lukewarm. Haven't tried their pizza, but I am a big fan of their chicken and steak bombs (cheese can be light, so double up) and chicken tenders. Seriously, there are really good. Even when I get them delivered, their tenders slap, maintaining their crispy exterior. Good desserts like carrot cake are always a great touch and of course frozen yogurt. However, I received a phone call, and I expected it to be the delivery person just saying the food arrived, but instead I got a gruff voice asking if I ordered from Charlie's and what my apartment # was. I told him and he basically shouted at me, "No it's not!" Um... yes. It is. I'm there now... and I live here. He then confirmed he had the wrong address (ya think?) And that he would be here shortly. When the food arrived, he was actually pretty nice and offered to bring the food up to my apartment, but assured me I had "no idea," when he told me the story of going to the wrong building and having to climb five flights of stairs. Sorry you had a rough one dude, but you don't need to yell at me and tell me I don't know where I live. I'm only giving this place 3 stars instead of 2 because after reading some of the other reviews im guessing this place has much better middle eastern food than american...so maybe i shouldnt judge them solely on one bad experience. I got a calzone from here, which on the upside was huge, but on the downside sucked pretty bad. The oddest thing was the dough...it wasnt like regular pizza dough you expect on a pizza or calzone. so this was no bueno in my book. Also, as i mentioned, it was huge, but when i bit into it, it turned out that only the center was actually filled with toppings...the perimeter of the calzone was just dough. i also got their "spicy" fries, which were decently spicy--no complaints here. The guy working there was nice too...he noticed i was watching the insider on their tv while waiting and he was kind enough to turn up the volume. so if you're looking for good middle eastern food, i guess this is the place for you, but if you want an old fashioned calzone, you're better off going elsewhere. read more

Service has gone downhill here, big time. Ordered delivery last night, came after one hour and ten minutes, was quoted 45 minutes. Driver wouldn't even come up to my apartment door, called and asked me to meet him downstairs. But they definitely skimped on the bacon.. Not even a whole slice was on the burger... Ok then... Hopefully I wasn't charged anything extra for that..... The burger itself was OK. Not great but not awful. The fries suck. They are literally the crinkle fries you can buy at the supermarket. After close to 90 minutes I had still not received the delivery so I had reached out. 90 minutes after they received my order and confirmed my order, THEY HADN'T EVEN STARTED MAKING IT YET! But don't worry I was told they would start now and have it within the next 45 minutes so I said okay thanks and did not push for a refund. The anticipated 45 minutes goes by and still no pie? We are over 2.5 hours now and still no pie. I've given up. I can't comprehend how a business can treat a customer like this. I regret using a CC to pay for this online because it's obvious they wanted my money but could care less about my experience ..... or even if I got my order.....
