For those of us who own homes in the 92127/92128 area, they are indispensable. You can't find any businesses that know the old hardware or construction methods used back then. Andy and Javier absolutely nailed it, and did a job we had been told by others couldn't be done. We got to keep our 50-year old heavy mirrored closet doors and they were able to install a new track in the recessed tile. They were fast, like they'd done this a million times before, probably because they have. Everything was perfect, you could measure it with a level and it was perfect. This is the dying skill I can't find in a business anymore, people with a "can do" attitude that know how to improvise and yet still get a job done like they've seen it many times before. Everyone else said to give up due to that recessed track and ancient hardware needed to keep this thing rolling. Thank you. We'll call again when it's time for a bigger job.

One piece of advice I would give anyone who needs windows: call, order, and schedule your measurements as soon as possible. Don't wait! The entire process can take some time from measurements to ordering and installation, so getting started early makes a big difference. I needed 5 windows and 2 screens replaced, and once everything was ready and the installers came to my home, I was extremely impressed. They replaced all 5 windows and 2 screens within about an hour! I honestly couldn't believe how quickly and efficiently they worked. More than anything, I was so relieved and grateful to finally have my windows again. The customer service was also amazing. There was a hold-up with my scheduled measurement appointment, and when I explained how urgently I needed the window replaced, the owner personally went above and beyond and came to my home to take the measurements herself. I truly appreciated her taking the time to do that and making my situation a priority. From the customer service to the installation, I am very grateful for the way I was treated. They made what had been a stressful situation so much easier. Yes, I would absolutely recommend them! if you need windows, contact them and get your measurements and order started as soon as possible. Lots has happened in life since June 2010 and my first review of BBG but one thing remains the same: Bryan Bauer Glass is second to none and even better than they were in 2010. We moved into a new place, had a ton of stuff done, and needed some shower help. My husband and our contractor made it VERY clear to not use an "off the shelf" Home Depot shower door setup for my standard shower doors. So, Yelp to the rescue ... we had Bryan out again seven years after our first experience with him. My shower was a slam-dunk ... alcove style, oil rubbed bronze, and I kid you not: BBG had it ordered and installed within a few days of coming out. It's amazing and perfect. Husband's shower grande needed a custom order, but much to my dismay, Bryan saw that not only was his shower curb thingy flat, it was actually tilting toward the floor, a big no-no for showers. Bryan advised us to have our contractor fix the slope properly before he could install it. I tried and tried to talk him out of it, but Bryan didn't want to install with the curb thing going toward the bathroom floor instead of the shower drain. As much as I fought him and imagined major reworking of the beautiful tile, it made sense to fix it and our contractor made quick work of it. (As an aside, Bryan is SUCH an amazing guy that he jumped in and sawed off a row of tile when a prima-donna installer from Best Buy came out and stopped his install of a microwave ... Bryan wasn't putting up with BS like this from a snowflake). Anyway, Ray did a great job on install and Margy was great in the office. Highly recommend ... again!

I decided to go with a door and window company along with their installation, vs a home improvement store and installation. The sales person my wife and I worked with at Discount Glass & Mirror, Juliet, was very helpful showing us the various choices that would meet our needs and budget. She was also the point of initial contact when I needed help with an installation issue and directed me to the right person immediately. While I did have a relatively minor issue with several of the door tracks after installation, the service department quickly identified the issue and promptly made it right. I was very impressed by Mike, the manager of the installation department, for his thorough knowledge and prompt effort to resolve it quickly to my satisfaction. The crew that came to my home to resolve my issues, Luis and Roy, were very diligent and thorough in their effort to make the closet doors work and look perfect. The mirror fits perfectly, and the shower door swings both in and out. Since it is a steam shower, I also needed a working transom to allow the shower to dry between uses, but hold the steam in for sauna use. The installers took their time installing so that it fits perfectly with no leaks. The glass is thick and the chrome brackets & handle are high quality, leaving my bath remodel very luxurious. 10 out of 10 recommend them!
