When I asked an employee how often it was re-stocked, they shrugged and said, "I dunno" and pointed me to the manager. Really?? Okay... The manager said he was too busy to help me, a paying customer. When I asked if there was someone else who wasn't too busy to help a customer, this "manager" did the same shrug and "I don't know" AND THEN TURNED AWAY FROM ME. His name badge said Andy or Andrew. Unreal! Like a Twilight Zone episode! Never in my life have I experienced retail staff as rude and incompetent as this. I could see why he was "too busy to help me" though, since the store was torn apart and seemed to be getting renovated while they were open - it was a huge mess with junk all over the floor in the aisles, and trip hazards everywhere. If I were you, I'd give this place a miss and find ANY OTHER ACE to shop at. Oh hey, why are there so many totally unrelated photos from "reviewers"?

They have everything, at very reasonable city prices. The fridge still doesn't work and the company we paid $2200 to, Home Depot, has claimed they are only responsible for 48 hours. We are contacting the State's Attorney General. NEVER BUY LG. They are polite and helpful…read more But every time I've gone in, and I've had to interact with a manager or an assistant manager they have been rude and unhelpful. They also under staff this location consistently. Almost every time I've gone in there hasn't been enough employees to help the customers that are in the store which means long wait times. This will be my last time going to the Edgewater Ace Hardware. It's very disappointing because this is my closest Ace to my house and for the last three decades of my life, Ace has been my go to and has been extremely helpful. But each Ace Hardware is individually owned so I will be going to a different Ace from now on. Do not waste your time. Just go to a different location.

I have a theory about HD…read more.. The location and demographics of each HD dictates the friendliness I was shocked out how friendly and helpful each employee I encountered at this HD in Arvada. People stopped what they were doing to give me directions to the items I needed. I didn't get any of that Home Depot stare away and walk the other way from any of the people working there....shocking really. Compare this to the HD on Colorado Blvd, in Denver, where employees see you coming and they run the other way. This is an amazing location!

A security guard does the classic "I do not see you." Matt at paint? Smiles politely and then executes a professional eye-avert. The washer/dryer girl? Vanished into the retail abyss. A new associate appears.....glaring at her current customer like they personally offended her ancestors. I try. I circle. I wander. Fifteen more minutes. Alas. No rug. No help. Just unmet potential. So here's the tea: Garden Center = 10/10, springtime magic. Amy at checkout = MVP, give her a raise. Rug cutting situation = a mystery worthy of its own investigation series. I left disappointed , not mad, just that specific kind of retail heartbreak where you know it could've been a five-star moment. What has happened since my last 5 ?? Do better, my beloved Home Depot.
