Owner is knowledgeable and genuine about her love of the craft, and was able to help us pick out two plants to take home.

From the entrance to the back door, the space has been meticulously curated to be welcoming, refreshing, and a place of peace & refuge. I love the variety of foliage available, and was impressed by the education that the staff offered on each of the plants available for sale. One of my favorite aspects of this shop is the partnership with local businesses, where makers can display and sell their wares in a "pass through" fashion, with all proceeds going to the small business owners. She was passionate about the project and very transparent about what she believes is best practice for backyard gardening. We spent several weeks after our initial consultation discussing the project and budget, and Lara was extremely patient with my questions, ideas, and changes. She also made every effort to explain why certain things should be this way(I tried to maximize planting space by adding a lot of raised beds with narrow paths, but it's important to mind the aesthetics because it's in your backyard not an actual farm & pay attention to your comfort level when moving around in the garden). After we agreed on start date, the crew came and completed the project within a week. They were also super patient and always willing to stop to answer questions or make minor adjustments. We absolutely love the end result and can't wait to schedule a Fall consultation with Farmscape to plan for Fall! Also, whatever soil they used I'd like some more, my veggies are growing SO fast.
