The first time, my Jeep was bucking very badly. I took it to some other places, and nearly all of them told me that they were going to have to replace my entire transmission. I brought my car to Ara, and I got a call less than 3 hours later. I needed a new engine coil and spark plugs, and not a new transmission. The first time I met this guy, he saved me about $1,000 by diagnosing my problem correctly. He also returned my car to me unbelievably fast. The second time I had my car towed there because I knew the solenoid was shot. Being in sales I constantly start my car 10 - 15 times per day. I know that most places typically charge around $500 to replace your starter. After putting $500 into my checking account to pay the bill, Ara handed me a bill for $368.68. He also only had my car for a period of about 4 hours, meaning that it was rather convenient because I didn't lose use of my car for a very long time. Lastly, this guy is trustworthy, and a very nice man. That's a big deal to me. His work is dependable, and you're not going to have your car in for service every other week. Plus he's usually is down there seven days a week, so you're guaranteed to always be leaving your car with an experienced mechanic rather than a gas station attendant. I highly recommend you give this guy a shot the next time you're having car problems!

Changed my brakes/rotors the same day ($2700) and I was able to drive back home to the DC area. BUT literally 2 weeks later, my car would stutter when I hit the brakes, like they weren't catching. The brake pedal would also give while I had my foot on it. So incredibly unsafe! I called the same ETD asking what it could be. Nick (who I worked with the day I got my brakes replaced) told me not to wait and to bring it to someone right away. So after calling a few shops, I found a place that could take me that day. THE BRAKE PADS WERE EITHER PUT ON INCORRECTLY OR WERE FAULTY. They were already work unevenly and the brand new rotors were scratched! The shop told me of this error and offered to resurface the pads and rotors (cheaper vs shelling out another $2000k +) to see if that fixed the problem. It did! My point person this whole time has been Nick. Fast-forward two months later, I was assured by Nick at this ETD shop, I would have a partial refund (labor) of over $400. Weeks and weeks have gone by. I have called multiple times and Nick has told me that he had to ask management, then the refund had to be processed, then it was processed and I have wait 3 to 5 business days. Well here it is on business day six, and still no refund. I have definitely been given the runaround. And I will do what I need to make sure others don't fall into this same trap. And I will be filling a complaint to the better business bureau.

That's mounted and balanced. I get you have to pay for the convenience of him coming to you and to make a dollar but taking advantage is a whole different story.
