Everyone is so very nice and helpful. And the place is really pleasant. They truly care about what you are going through.

This funeral home is excellent. I have no words to describe how nice the staff is. I recently lost my husband and he was laid out for family viewing in an excellent way. We were given time to pray and greave as a family. I have no grievances with them. They helped make a horrible sudden passing just a bit better. I highly recommend using them. Im disabled they helped immensely by waiting for payment,i have had to rely on others to drive to the facility. The quality and value was well worth it. read more

Attended a service here last week for a family friend. Funerals are never fun. Never thought I'd be reviewing one. Very nice clean place. Friendly help was everywhere, to get the door, tell us where the restrooms where, etc. Big spacious parking lot. And I noticed the family incorporated many personal touches including tables with memorabilia and even a display of the lost loved one's "toys" in the parking lot. Semi trucks, classic cars, ATV's. It was very nice. I think the funeral home deserves recognition for making these special arrangements. I consider this above and beyond and it was a great tribute. Thanks! read more

It may seem like a strange thing to leave a review for but if you find yourself in a position like we did (father died leaving no will or instructions), you may not know where to turn. Mark Ramsey greeted us when we dropped in to discuss the unexpected passing of a dearly loved family member. He was very helpful, professional and polite. He answered all of our questions and provided detailed information. He provided just what we needed and although it was a minor purchase compared to most funerals, he could not have been nicer. They printed a brochure with someone else's name /picture on it. Had flowers delivered to their place the night before and they left them at the funeral home for an afternoon funeral the next day. When I asked about them, they were full of attitude and were put out. It was my mother's funeral and they were giving me grief about their mistake! read more

Mark did an amazing job with my son's funeral. You never plan on burying your 2 year old, so when my husband and I were faced with that we didn't even know where to begin. Mark was so compassionate. He tenderly walked us through every step of the way. He made a beautiful slideshow presentation to be shown during the funeral. The little details, down to the matching teddy bear my son carried with him daily (and was buried with) was in the background. The funeral was beautiful. They had to do an autopsy on my son and Mark did a great job making him look so handsome for the viewing. He even parted his hair just the way we did. For a family who is already in so much pain, he did a perfect job leading us and guiding us and loving on us while we went through the process. read more

My husband and I have lived in Round for 19 years. 1 year ago we attended a funeral service for one of my husband's co-worker who had lost a loved one. I was not sure of what I would experience since I had never attended a funeral service held within a funeral home. I was amazed by the cleanliness of the facility, professionalism, and genuine care by the staff. From the moment we approached the doors, to the last minute when we left the facility - the care for the grieving family and all in attendance was very obvious. I thought to myself that the staff were there not just to do a job, but that they truly cared. Well, no one is ever prepared to loose a loved one, and this last august we had the misfortune of loosing our son. We needed the assistance of 2 funeral homes, one in the city where he lived, and another here where we would lay him to rest. As everyone tried to find out about the funeral homes in Austin and surrounding areas, my husband and I remembered Ramsey Funeral Home. We were not sure of the price, but once we contacted them- we were sure that there was no one else we would rather have had take care of our son. You just have to meet Mr. Ramsey and you would know that he is not in it for the money! The compassion, attention to detail, punctuality, clear communication and professionalism has no equal. His words were that he wants to make longlasting relationships with his clients, and that is what he has done with my family and friends! I returned to work and one of my co-workers was sharing with me about the funeral home that took care of her loved one years ago. I couldn't help as she spoke to think that the care she was referring to, the comfort she felt during her loved one's funeral was almost word to word of what I was about to tell her!
