We've been coming here for years and hands down the best bagel sandwiches in the area! Their bagels are smaller and less fluffy, making it ideal for a. Real fast sandwich without being extremely filling. My favorite is a sausage egg and cheese on a roll or their speciality Pumpernickel or everything bagel. They have an assortment of sugar cookies, flavored cream cheeses but stick to the usual bagel sandwich and you can't go wrong. It can get crazy in here especially on weekends. But they do manage the chaos and have your order down pretty quickly. There are a decent amount of high top tables inside you can eat at as well. The parking lot is small and can be tight if you have a larger vehicle. read more

We used to come here all the time - but their prices have gotten completely out-of-control. To add insult to injury- they charge DEBIT CARDS an extra 3.9%. When I use a DEBIT card, I am using my money- it is not a credit card transaction. Bagel Boys does NOT get charged ANY fee when a customer is using a DEBIT card- but they still charge that customer an extra 3.9% above their already exorbitant prices. There are many bagel shops in the same town and others very close by. I will go elsewhere. read more

Egg, bacon and hot sauce on the jalapeño bagel is delicious. I like to eat it there when the egg is nice and hot. The rainbow bagel are so colorful and fun. The apple turnovers are light and airy and the cinnamon rolls are just yummy. They also have a great staff and their own parking lot in front of the store. read more

This has become my go-to on days when I am crunched for time because I can grab a bagel for breakfast and then either a salad or a sandwich for lunch. This review is for mediocre bagels, but above all, terrible customer service. I live in town and go in to Bagel Boys about 3 x per month. So not a regular, but definitely give them regular business. I am six months pregnant, it was hot, and this morning I asked for a glass of water with my bagel and cream cheese. A nice woman behind the counter gave me a glass of ice, tap water. The owner, who was getting my bagel, looked at the glass and charged me $1.50!! For tap water!! I could not believe this. I asked if he really just charged me for tap water, and he said, very rudely "Lady, this is a business. We have to pay for the ice!" I refused to take the water or pay for it, paid for my bagel, and left --- never to return again. If the owner was actually a smart businessperson, he would realize that he just lost my business, forever (just moved to town last year, plan to be here for LIFE), my husband's business, my nanny's business, our neighbor's business, as well as a few friends' business, and gained a negative Yelp review, Tweet and post to Bergen Mama. All for a glass of tap water. To a pregnant woman. On a hot day. For the record, I have asked for glasses of water at almost every establishment in town this summer, from Starbucks to Carvel to Ramsey Corner Cafe and have never, NEVER been denied or hassled. read more

I especially always loved how they give you a dozen bagels for $5 after 2:00; seriously, what an UNBEATABLE deal! ...But only to discover they stopped doing this out of nowhere after coming in one day after 2:00 and they charged me $10. I would describe this establishment as utterly, totally and solely adequate. A mile wide and foot deep. Dozens of different options. Bagels, sandwiches, baked goods, salads etc. not one the best in the area but a critical mass of choices might make this a good option for corporate catering a breakfast or lunch meeting. Been going here for years. Since the store has I guess new owners or new management, has gone down hill. Sandwiches taste a bit off, everyone there seems dead with no personality. They seem to use the rounding method when it come to cash, twice now I have been given the wrong change. Seems dirtier these days, even the showcase looks dismal. They used to have great daily sandwiches now they push a Korean sandwich, and wings. Now if you offer bubble tea, you really should teach your employees how to make it. Also to listen to what the customer orders. Today I ordered a blueberry bagel toasted with butter, a honey dew bubble tea,and an expresso. I was a painful 17 minutes to watch this older gentleman screw it up. It looked like he could not read the instructions on the wall. The drink was overly chunky with ice to the point where I had to let it warm up so some of the ice would melt so I can drink it. Bubble tea it supposed to have taro balls in it for the bubbles.... not a teaspoon on top. While he was making this he let my bagel get cold. Then put it threw the toaster again and burnt it. He forgot my expresso. When I brought that to his attention he said it will only take a few minutes. No thank you sir, you already wasted enough of my time today! I also bought my wife the cookies she likes. Now this guy bagged it all with the bagel on top leaking butter on the cookie container and the bubble tea. This place is not worth stopping at anymore. A tad but stingy on the egg sandwiches and every time I walk in I'm asked relentlessly if I will try their coffee. They redid the inside and I think are trying to promote more of their coffee business but it's right next to Starbucks !! I love this bagel place...when I get one of the cashiers that isn't the guy with the foreign accent and bad attitude. I've told people to ahead of me, so I could avoid him. Not sure why they keep him around but I once left rather than having to get him as my cashier. He routinely doesn't wear gloves and creepily stares and women and their children. THE best food for breakfast and lunch. For breakfast, I recommend their delicious bagels or a bacon, egg and cheese. They have a great selection of different cream cheeses and an even better selection of bagels. Even better that they are some of the best bagels I've ever had. For lunch, they have a huge menu of gourmet sandwiches, or you can make your own sandwich from the fresh deli. My favorite is definitely the Sante Fe sandwich. Yo yo yo! I've got to give a shout out to ma NJ hood and it's main street bliss of a bagel store. Do not be fooled by other immitation wannabes (i.e. the Bagel Depot), this is the rill dilly. So they branched out with catering and have side cases of deli salads, offering cookies and candies, etc. but really you need to focus. Plain, whole wheat, honey oat and the like. They're all there. Please sample the french toast bagel cause it's ridic. They also offer blueberry which is so good, and the rare and exquisite Black Russian - pumpernickel with caraway seeds, onion and raisins. A masterpiece. Also, not for the faint-of-heart and worth mentioning are their muffins, all fresh-baked and wonderful (i.e. cinnamon chip and pumpkin cheesecake - bon giorno!). read more
