Sausage egg and cheese on Bagel Breakfast

Found this place on yelp and I must say the food is great. The service was quick and very helpful. Greatest is and gave us time to order and if we had any questions. The ambience is a very chill relaxed spot. Definitely a must try deli. I wanted everything on there menu. Haha

Was driving to Park Ridge and looked for a good deli that makes good breakfast sandwiches. Ken's Deli came up on Yelp. It's very confusing where to order and it took some time before I got to place my order. The sandwich was edible but not that good. I don't understand how previous reviews said it was good. There was one egg, two slices of Taylor ham, one slice of cheese, hardly any ketchup but I could taste the pepper. The ambiance was very messy and only one table to eat family style. I will not be back. I don't recommend this place.

Now that the new owners have been here for a while it was time for a visit. Ordered a cheesesteak and was excited to see how it stacks up to the competition around. When I got it. It was like no effort was put into it to make it stand out. It was some sliced steak heated up and laid on top of cheese inside the bread. In my opinion they could have chopped it up and mixed in the cheese with a tad of butter and more seasoning but as the picture shows. A sad cheesesteak. Definitely expecting more than what I got for the money. The hero bread was let down. On the up side, a Ham hero was a hero that was made to perfection. Great portion of ham, nicely sliced tomatoes and the right amount of Mayo I accompanied by the shredded lettuce. Now this hero was with it. Great personalities who work there. And clean. Let's see what happened next time.

Best breakfast sandwich in Bergen County always good. The ratio is perfect with the meat, egg and cheese. I prefer on a soft round roll.

I forgot to take a picture of the entire sandwich - this is just half. It doesn't get any fresher than this! The chicken cutlet was freshly made the second I ordered it. I just love this deli! Sandwiches are so damn good

A poem: There once was a place called kens I like to go there with my friends Egg cheese hashbrown, the best Chicken bacon ranch? I'm blessed Call ahead and you won't have to wait The drink and snack selection is great The staff are so friendly and kind When in hillsdale, kens is on my mind

Walking into Ken's, you're immediately hit with the delicious smell of food cooking. The (newer) owner, Amy, is one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. She asked follow up questions to make sure my breakfast sandwich was the way I wanted it! I usually order online but walking into Ken's is the best! Highly recommend!

Best egg sandwich! Taylor ham, egg & cheese in round roll. I get it "plain" otherwise it has salt, pepper & ketchup. I have had other sandwiches at this deli too. All are top quality.

    Uncut bacon egg cheese

Yesterday I picked up a breakfast sandwich and they couldn't even be bothered to cut it. This place is a disgrace to former owner George it's insulting to call this pathetic deli "Ken's"

Grilled chicken sandwich with arugula, fresh mozz, and olive blend

Fantastic deli. The owner (assuming Ken), was extremely helpful and offered recommendations for me since I have an egg allergy and could not do the Grilled Chicken sandwich as is with the herb mayo. Instead he did this amazing olive blend that added so much flavor to the sandwich it was perfect. I'll absolutely be back!

They have both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great option year-round. The menu is extensive, so there's something for just about everyone. As someone who has to eat gluten-free, I do wish they offered a few more GF options. That said, I really appreciate that they have gluten-free bread and wraps. My go-to order is the grilled chicken pesto wrap on a gluten-free wrap, and during the colder months, I love pairing a meal with one of their soups. I just wish there were more gluten-free side options besides a salad. They also have a nice selection of non-caffeinated iced teas, which is always a bonus when you're looking for something different to drink. Service can be on the slower side, especially during busy lunch or dinner hours, so it's best not to come if you're in a rush. The restaurant has a few TVs that are usually showing sports, giving it a relaxed neighborhood feel, and the bathrooms have consistently been clean whenever I've visited. If you pay with cash, you'll avoid the credit card service fee. One thing to know before you go: parking in downtown Westwood can be a bit of a headache. Pay attention to the parking signs and meters. Although, I would love to see the farmhouse expand their gluten-free menu, it is a reliable local spot with good food, a welcoming atmosphere, and enough variety to keep us coming back.

The homerun of a sandwich is the Bun Jovi which is a honey Sriracha chicken schnitzel slathered with swiss cheese, pickles, pastrami, and coleslaw. And this dream of a sandwich delivers. The French onion dumplings were actually the best thing I had... crispy on the outside, cheesy, and full of flavor. Everything else missed the mark. While our waitress and clearly more seasoned bar tender was nice, the ambiance felt different. The entire staff was clearly focused on the party in the main dining room. The lighting is dim, the ambiance is intimate, and it looks romantic. I had made reservations so we were seated immediately. It's funny to note that the place settings were placed next to each other instead of across from each other at a four person table. We usually prefer to face each other, but when it's Valentine's day why not be cute? We ordered a few drinks during our dinner, the Sugar Plum Fairy, Memere 75, Avion en papier. My favorite was definitely the Avion en papier which had a slightly sweet, slightly bitter, citrusy taste. They had a pre fixe menu for Valentine's Day which unfortunately did not have the steak tartare i was interested in trying. But for $88, you get 3 courses: an appetizer, entree, and dessert. For our appetizers, we got the TARTARE DE THON (tuna tartare) and COCKTAIL DE CREVETTES GEANTES (shirmp cocktail). Between the two, i preferred the tuna tartare. The shrimp cocktail was good, but the only thing really special about it was the massive size of the shrimp and the freshly grated horseradish in the cocktail sauce. For our entrees, we got the CASSOULET DE CANARD and FILET MIGNON. The extremely tender duck leg confit was served with pancetta, white beans, toulouse sausage, and foie gras breadcrumb. It was rich, savory, fatty, and filling. All great words to describe food. The duck leg confit reminded me a little bit of a smoked turkey leg with the red coloring and shreddable texture. The filet mignon was served with pomme purée, wild mushrooms, and a bordelaise sauce. The filet was cooked medium rare as requested, but a bit under salted. The pomme purée aka mashed potatoes tasted like it was 50% butter so it was obviously delicious. Dessert was good, but my least favorite part of the meal. We got the TAHITIAN VANILLA CRÈME BRÛLÉE and the VALRHONA CHOCOLAT POT AU CRÈME. Both were very sweet. The brûlée crust did not shatter well, but it otherwise had a nice creamy texture. The chocolate pot was covered in flaky feuilletine which gave a nice contrast to the creamy chocolate, but my wife found the brandied cherries overpowering. The cherries made me think of German chocolate cake. Service was excellent. Staff was quick to refill water and checked on us constantly. Pace of the meal was relaxed and I'd even say they were slow to bring us the check since we had been dining for over 2 hours. My wife wants me to bring her back for their bottomless brunch on a Sunday so I will eventually be back.
