I stopped in to get my charging port on my iPhone replaced. It wouldn't charge and I needed it for work. They talked me out of paying a $150 repair on a $100 phone. The cleaned and repaired my existing port. No charge. They also sell pc and gaming hardware upgrades and do repairs. read more

Everyone that we dealt with in Ramshack were respectful and knowledgeable, they helped us carry our new computer to the parking lot and made sure we were happy with the work they did. STAY AWAY AND BUY ELSE WARE! I went to Ramshack Computers to buy at new MacBook Pro and there was nothing but problems with the MacBook Pro and the warranty that was given to me! The customer care was really bad they would have an attitude when I would bring the MacBook Pro in for repair and the owner would change the warranty depending on the problem with the laptop. Then he finally did a repair on it but we'll he did he broke my led back light keyboard and when I picked it up he told me that's what happened. I asked him if he could fix it he said I would have to pay for it. The owner also told me this " I just bought a new Dell laptop and that doesn't have a back light keyboard" then the MacBook Pro died at the end of the year warranty. So I went to another Used store to get a Mac and there customer service was 10out of 10 great! But anyway I would NOT recommend this computer store to anyone there was also more problems with the laptop but if I listed them all this would be a very long review!! read more

I have owned a business for 26 years and not totally computer savy, but just knew it was time to update Windows 7 to 10. I always pass by RamShack and decided to call and after speaking with Andy definately using them. I spoke to Andy (and BTW he always answers the phone no recordings). Not knowing I had a bad drive, this guy put all his sweat, tears, and man hours promising me he would get it working. Not only did he get it working came in on a Sunday and completed it! To me that is customer service NO ONE WOULD EVER DO THIS. Not once did he push me aside and say sorry can't do it he kept his word and made my old computer like new! Why spend money on a new computer when Andy can make your old one so fast and unbelievable plus you get to keep and not transfer all your data! Trust me go to Ram Shack and I am not just saying this I am serious I am probably one of the most nervous people with my company info and he gained all my trust! Then I still had to get my QB's hooked up to Outlook and he still took my call and helped me over the phone even after my computer was home! Oh and Max is brilliant too!!! Everyone including Joe was super nice and patient with me! Go to these guys are the best and I am not just saying that. I never write reviews EVER, but for them they will be my go to!!! I would NOT do business with this company. All I wanted was for them to return my call. I understand that sometimes it takes weeks to fix a computer - but at least keep the customer informed. My opinion after dealing with them on two occasions is that they are unprofessional and unethical. I'm sure they will have a rebuttal - and you decide - I lost 500.00. I would not walk away from that much money unless the situation warranted it. Also realize that they might promise the world - but actually receiving what they promise is a different story. My experience: I purchased a refurbished computer from this store. After one week of use the battery was not charging. I took it in and they said they would order a new battery and call me when it came in. There was a one year guarantee/warranty on the computer. I waited and did not receive a call so I called three times over a course of about week. I left messages and they never returned my calls. I went by the store and asked about the battery and they said they would call me. They never called. This past week, with less than 10 weeks of use, the computer would not turn on. We took it in to Ramshack. Since leaving it Friday, I have left 4 messages - no call back. I did get a hold of someone on Saturday - just looking for a time frame. They said they would call me back - they never did. I called Tuesday morning - again no one would call me back. I used a different phone number to call and they answered the phone right away. They told me they do not use the number listed on the website and they never check the messages - something about people bothering them from all over they country. They also said they do not check the messages. At this point I asked for my money back. They would not give it because I had gone to the Apple Store to get a battery that they never called me about. They said that the Apple Store had a bunch of "geeks" that they would never hire and how did I know that the Apple Store didn't damage the computer when they put the new battery in the computer. I wouldn't use this store for repairs or to purchase a computer. While on the phone one of the partners used foul language and made a negative comparison of me to his ex wife. So it was just a very unprofessional and unethical experience. They also asked that I pay in cash so they don't have to report it to the IRS. I would not give my business to this store. So now, I went and got the computer (because they could not tell me how long it would be or what was wrong - because they had to order a charger - which they did today - even though they said they would look at it on Saturday) All I wanted was a phone call returned and a basic timeline AND a dependable computer. I have used Ramshack's services 5 times in the past 2 years. Each time I have been impressed by the knowledge and helpfulness of the staff. They have consistently fixed my problems and provided helpful feedback going above and beyond what I'm paying them for. Prices are reasonable and hours are generous. DO NOT GO HERE! Unless this is your last resort find another place to take care of your computer/hardware needs. The man the runs/owns this place is RUDE. It took months to fix my computer, and when they finally did they charged me more. Then he claimed that it would've been faster had I been upfront with him about what was wrong with my computer. Yet, I came in explaining the whole situation to him only for him to come back at me with some bs that I didn't tell him. He is conniving and narcissistic. read more

This was the third time I used Ramschack. The first two times I had monir items and they were fixed quickly by two young guys who I believed were working there for the summer while in school. This time the issue was a little bit bigger and I was dealing with one of the owners. I work with a computer concern out of Seattle. When I had issue (Thurs. April 29, 2021) they told me that my hard drive was shot and that I needed to take it into a shop to get it fixed. I took the laptop into Ramshack that afternoon. I met with Andy, one of the owners, and I explained the issue. He noted that the new hard drives are solid state and much better than what I had in the computer now. He also noted that my hinge was broken and did I want it fixed. The hinge had been broken for a couple of years and although it closed fine I said that I would be glad to have him fix it. He said it will take a couple of days. I called Sat. (May 1) to get an update. Andy told me that it would be Tues., maybe Wed. I called again on THurs. and he said he had been very busy but he would have it by the end of the day. I said what time could I pick it up and he started to note how busy he was. I told him to call me when he was done (I actually thought I was getting a call that day.). I called Friday around 1 PM and got a recording. I called back about 2 and got Andy. He told me he would have it today. Stop in after 4 PM. I came in around 4:15 and he told me he was having all kinds of problems as the computer was very slow and he couldn't figure it out and that he welded the hinges and now the computer won't close. He showed me the computer and the computer was open about 3". He then siad the computer problems he was having was because I wanted the content retained. I said we can bypass that if that is what his problem is, but initially he asked me if I wanted to retain the content as it would be no problem. When I raised concern about the computer not closing he said it was my fault becuase I broke the hinge. He then got very upset and said he could not deal with such a pain of a customer and he would put the back on the computer and I can take it as is. After about ten minutes he handed me my computer, and told me that he put the faulty hard drive back into my computer. I left with what I walked in with 8 days earler and a computer that does not close. I will probably find now that it will be cheaper to buy a new computer. I would not go to Ramshack for your computer repair. The owner I dealt with would say whatever needed to have you go away, but appeared to not be very knowledgeable. read more
